Welcome to your sweet Get-a-Way in the Rocky Mountains!
This completely renovated house is close to all that the Pikes Peak area has to offer, yet it feels like a world away. Large windows and multiple skylights frame mountain views and allow the Colorado sunshine and moonlight to pour in. You'll be pampered with all the conveniences (and more!) of a modern house in a rustic mountain setting, including: Wi-fi, smart TV, dish washer, washer and dryer, Hot Tub, gas grill, an Ice maker, Yoga mats, two electric wood stoves, a fenced yard and covered parking. Nestled in a forest of old growth Pine trees, step onto a large private deck and take a deep breath and a healing soak. A variety of day trips, adventurous, historical and cultural are close by. Gentle to challenging hikes, rock climbing, water sports, unique shops in Manitou and Old Colorado City, art galleries and museums, events minutes away in Green Mnt. Falls, live music, spas, and back roads to small towns await your discovery. Located on the SUNNY side of Cascade you will be located directly across the valley from the Pikes Peak Highway, minutes away from several hiking/biking trails and climbing areas, 4 miles from downtown Manitou Springs, 15 minutes from downtown Colorado Springs and just 7 miles from Woodland Park.
Upon your return in the evening, grill up your favorites and dine at your bistro table al fresco. The kitchen is fully equipped with all essential appliances, including a blender, mixer, and an espresso maker. Later, soak in the new hot tub under a dark, star studded sky. When you can tear yourself away from the views, two bedrooms, each with a queen bed and a full bath await.
This Single Level abode is the ideal destination for a peaceful retreat, a family getaway or a trip packed with adventure and sight seeing.

This is a very clean and comfortable space in a convenient location. Sara was very accommodating during booking and puts a special touch on things. Would consider this rental option if ever in the area to explore! The only downside is the highway noise but hard to avoid… I’ve stayed at places nearby that were WAY further off the road and you can still hear the semis and hot-rodders on HWY-24. The nature and birds can drown it out if you relax and let them. Overall this is a fantastic place to stay!

Honestly amazing stay at this VRBO. Very clean. We had a beautiful view sitting in the hot tub in the evenings. The host was incredibly kind. She was super accommodating to us and was very quick to respond. We had no issues staying here. Loved the fresh flowers in the vase and the heated flooring in one of the bathrooms! I even forgot our swimsuits and the host mailed them to me the same day. Will definitely make it back here!

Gorgeous property, very modern and classy! Being from FL, however, I didn’t think to ask if it had air conditioning, as temperatures were very hot (low 90s) during the day in Colorado in early September! It does not. Host advised me to open windows and close skylights. Evenings were fine, as temperatures cooled. On Friday, TV had error, reached out to host, unable to access it (even to stream a movie), eventually received offer from host to come by and check the tv connection on Sunday. We cooked many meals for our cadet and kitchen had everything! Beds super comfortable!

We loved our stay in the cabin in the woods. Very clean home. The hosts were very responsive to any questions we had. Good amenities like a latte maker, free standing ice maker. The hot tub was a great way to relax after a day of exploring. Expansive back deck with beautiful views of the mountain and the road leading up to Pikes Peak. Great location, short drive to Manitou springs and Colorado Springs. You could hear some traffic noise from highway 24 but you can’t see the traffic. The short roads up to the cabin are dirt roads and rather steep. We had a Pathfinder and our tires would spin a little going up but it’s the price you pay for a cabin in the hills. I would like to see an updated television that would support all the streaming services that most people have. The bedrooms and baths were nice with comfortable beds. We would certainly recommend this cabin for a stay in this area of Colorado. We certainly will be coming back next year.

Thank you for the feedback on the TV and its lack of streaming capabilities. This is a new rental and we are not that technologically savvy. I contacted our provider and they set the place up with streaming capabilities.

This is an amazing property! It is recently renovated so everything is clean and high end. We loved the ice maker and the heated floors in the bathroom. We spent most of our time on the private deck.The host was fantastic to work with. We appreciate all the little extra touches and communication.If you're looking for a centrally located place, and love sitting in a hot tub under the stars... your search is over.We will definitely visit again!
