This Chalet was lovingly renovated 2013 and spreads over 230 sqm on 3 floors. It can accommodate up to 8 guests.
The main floor is a large open concept plan featuring a rustic fireplace, giving the whole room a cozy homey warmth. A fully equipped kitchen and adjoining beautiful 180-year old pine wood dining room offers plenty of space for your social gatherings. The entire house is lovingly decorated with antiques, old wooden walls conjuring up visions of days gone by. From the great room you can access the spacious sun terrace with barbecue.
Situated only 2 km from the Riesneralm ski area (part of the Schneebärenland ski area) the mountain is a winter vacation destination well-known for its manicured slopes, unique children's ski swing, ski school and a sledge run.

One bedroom with a double bed and a full bathroom with in-floor heating complete this main floor.
A wooden staircase leads to the second floor or “Attic”. Again, the old wood dominates the décor along with the fine furnishings from different eras to create a warm and inviting space. There are 3 bedrooms each with a double bed, one room has an ensuite bathroom. Each room comes with a flat screen TV and WiFi is available thorough out the house.
The second floor also includes a spacious bathroom and two separate toilets complete the new bedroom floor space. After a day of sports activities you will love the “Wellness” area…located in the bottom level of the house you will find a Finnish sauna, infrared cabin, a rain shower and relaxation area.
Furthermore, in the bottom level there is another bedroom with double bed and bunk bed as well as a bathroom with shower and toilet and a kitchen/living room on the lower floor.

Winter
Donnersbachwald is a paradise for the big and little snow fans. Enjoy curve drawing on snowy, perfectly groomed slopes + award-winning, stop-offs or relax with the apres-ski life. Deep snow - and freestyle addicts will find untouched powder descents, the new Cross Ride track, a track is prepared over hills, steep curves and through tunnels.
The kids ski area is has 5 lifts. They will enjoy Plates flash and magic carpets, as well as the Snow Magic ski school, a complete package to inspire your kids.
Also 16 km cross-country trail through the valley (the entrance is just 400 meters from the chalet), or explore the nature on winter hiking paths. The 4000m long sledge run from the Mörsbachalm is one more adventure for guests.
