Welcome to **The Gathering Place**, a spacious 7-bedroom, 3-bath home in Lander, Wyoming, created for families and friends who want room to stay together.

Long before becoming a vacation rental, this was our family home—the place where our kids, their friends, and extended family naturally gathered. That history inspired its name, and we hope our guests feel the same sense of welcome during their stay.

The home features a large, remodeled kitchen with an oversized island, butcher block countertops, gas cooktop, walk-in pantry, and plenty of space for preparing meals together. The open living and dining areas make it easy for everyone to visit, relax, play games, or enjoy a meal without feeling crowded.

With **7 bedrooms, 3 bathrooms, two living spaces, and room for up to 14 guests**, The Gathering Place is especially well suited for family gatherings, wedding guests, reunions, and groups coming to enjoy Lander and the surrounding Wind River area.

The finished lower level provides 2 if the 7 bedrooms, 1 of the 3 bathrooms a family/game room, and extra space to spread out—giving larger groups both togetherness and a little breathing room.

**Please note:** Our backyard is currently undergoing landscaping improvements and is **not accessible to guests at this time**. The rental and pricing currently reflect use of the home and available areas of the property only. We want guests to know this before booking so there are no surprises upon arrival.

Whether your plans include exploring Sinks Canyon, hiking and climbing, attending a local event, or simply spending time with the people you love, we hope The Gathering Place feels like your home in Lander.

There is alot of improvements needed to be done to the property . I did leave a note for the owner. I feel this was their first time renting and she was kind enough to help with my needs and she will improve as time goes on. For the purpose I needed the house was good. The hot water needs improved for a 7 bedroom house the hot water would not last for one shower. The location was great. I hope they get more people renting it. I appreciate the help the owner gave to us.

I’m a Wyoming native, wife, mom, nurse, and small-farm owner who loves family, rural life, and bringing people together. When I’m not working as a nurse, you’ll often find me busy with our family, caring for animals at Warm Valley Farm, or tackling one of the many projects that seem to come with country living.

Our home has always been a place where people gather, which is one of the reasons I enjoy hosting. I love knowing that other families and friends can use this space to slow down, reconnect, celebrate special occasions, and make memories together.

Wyoming is home to us, and I’m always happy to share a little of what makes this area special. My hope is that when you stay here, you feel less like you’re staying in a rental and more like you’ve been welcomed into a home.

From The Gathering House, you’re just a short drive from downtown, local restaurants and shops, City Park, and the everyday conveniences you may need during your stay.

One of the best parts of living here is how quickly town gives way to Wyoming’s beautiful open spaces. Sinks Canyon State Park, hiking trails, fishing, climbing, and the Wind River Mountains are all within easy reach, making it simple to spend the day exploring and still come home to a comfortable place to gather.

Lander has the kind of small-town atmosphere we love—friendly, relaxed, and surrounded by beautiful Wyoming scenery. It’s especially fun during local celebrations and events, but even on an ordinary day, there’s something special about being able to enjoy town and the outdoors without having to choose between the two.

The Gathering House was made for exactly what its name suggests—gathering together. With seven bedrooms, three bathrooms, and plenty of room to spread out, it’s especially well suited for large families, reunions, wedding groups, and friends traveling together.

At the heart of the home is our spacious remodeled kitchen and great room, with a large island that makes it easy for everyone to cook, visit, eat, and spend time together. Downstairs, there’s even more room to relax with a game and T.V area, giving different generations their own spaces while still keeping everyone under one roof.

What makes this home special to us isn’t that everything is perfect or fancy—it’s that it’s a real Wyoming family home with plenty of character, room for a crowd, and spaces designed to be enjoyed together. We hope it becomes the backdrop for late-night conversations, big family meals, laughter, celebrations, and some great Wyoming memories.
