Mark was very communicative. The apt is in a fantastic location, bonus for the amazing view! It has everything you need and worked great for my family in town to visit.

Tired is how I would characterize this property. Both beds are badly in need of replacing. The kitchen is inadequately equipped. The stairs to the third floor are much too steep for three seniors (borderline unsafe). And the overall cleanliness left something to be desired. I would not recommend this property to a friend or family member.

Great location. The roof top deck with view of the skyline was anazing. Loved the historical aspects of the neighborhood and building. Very walkable and safe area. Would definitely stay here again

Home away from home

My friends and I loved the house and the surrounding areas, close to everything we wanted to see, we would recommend to anyone and we would ourselves love to be back in the future. We felt at home.

Very pleasant and comfortable stay

Overall very good experience. We had comfortable stay. Home is in a good area and only minutes to downtown area. Jerry; the care taker was there when we checked in and out. He as well as the owner were very approachable and responsive. We occupied the second and third floor of the home. Listing pictures are accurate. Place is a bit rustic. Flooring on second floor and staircase to second floor from main level can be upgraded. Third floor is in great shape and has lots of natural light. I would certainly stay at this place in the future.

Great Chicago Style Home

Very nice house, very clean, as listed, dinning area a little small for the 8 of us, the Roof Top was great, even though a house had been built which obstructed a small part of the view of skyline. the view was still amazing, Loved the roof top deck, Loved the location and neighborhood, bus line one block away. quick communication from owner and manager. Manager very helpful and nice. We had a great stay in this house, very close to downtown. Nice roomy house, plenty of room for the 8 of us.

Wonderful home for a nice getaway

Comfy house and easy to enjoy. The three of us had a great time. Great location for getting around Chicago. Good neighborhood restaurants. The house was very clean and quiet. Not luxurious, but all the comforts of home. I would return.

Great place with an EXCELLENT view!

Lots of space and charming eclectic decor. Enjoyed the various collections and the floor to ceiling shelves full of books. Large master bedroom with spacious bathroom. Thought it had a queen bed in the 2nd room but only a double. The couch in the main living room area could use an upgrade, even though we didn't spend much time sitting there as we walked all over Chicago to take in the beautiful, busy city! And speaking of beautiful city- the VIEW from the rooftop is wonderful. I wish it was a little warmer during our visit so we could have spent more time up there. Within walking distance to almost anything you need. Well appointed kitchen with upgraded appliances. Lots of space for a small family, but be aware, also lots of steps. Owner is very responsive to messages. Overall a good stay and I'd stay again.

Amazing location, great time

We were in town for a conference and the hotel costs were astronomical. This house was a great value and we even got to take part in a street festival at the church. Plenty of room, comfy beds, and easy access.

We had 8 people stay here for a wedding. The rooftop gallery with seating was a huge hit. The property manager, Jerry, was extremely friendly and punctual. The apartment was nicely appointed and had everything we needed. Would recommend this location!

Awesome Location

The description of this get away was spot on! Easy access to the CTA and the Metra. Got around the city with ease. Was able to buy a pass that worked on both modes of transportation. Jerry was very helpful and it's nice to greeted by someone when you get there. This multi level home was perfect for our vacation, I highly recommend it.
