The holiday home offers around 60 square metres of living space for two guests, making it ideal for couples or solo travellers who want to discover Småland in a relaxed atmosphere. The traditional character of the house has been deliberately preserved, creating an authentic Swedish feeling.

The cosy living area features a sofa, an armchair and a fireplace, which creates a particularly warm atmosphere on cooler evenings. A dining table provides plenty of space for meals together. Wi-Fi is also available throughout your stay.

The kitchen is well equipped and provides everything you need for self-catering during your holiday in Sweden.

The newly renovated bathroom features a shower and combines the traditional character of the house with modern comfort.

Plenty of Space and Privacy

Hus Bohult is situated on a spacious property of around 2,000 square metres, with plenty of greenery and room to relax. Outdoor seating and a barbecue are available in the garden – ideal for a leisurely breakfast outside or long summer evenings surrounded by nature.

There is a second, larger holiday home on the property. It can be rented together with Hus Bohult and accommodates up to six additional guests. The two houses are therefore ideal for families or friends travelling together who still want to have their own separate living spaces.

An important advantage: if you book Hus Bohult on its own, the second holiday home will not be rented to other guests during your stay. This means you will never have to share the property with other holidaymakers and can enjoy your peace and privacy.

Lake, Canoe and Nature in Småland

The area around Bohult is characterised by the typical Småland landscape of forests, lakes and small villages. A nearby lake is within easy walking distance. A canoe is available for trips on the water – perfect for discovering the surrounding nature from a different perspective and enjoying peaceful hours on the lake.

The surrounding forests are also ideal for hiking, leisurely walks and picking berries and mushrooms. With a little luck, you may even spot deer or moose along the way.

An Ideal Base Between Högsby, Vimmerby and the Baltic Coast

Thanks to its location near Högsby, Hus Bohult is an excellent base for discovering the different sides of Småland.

The Baltic coast around Oskarshamn, with its small harbours, swimming areas and characteristic archipelago landscape, is within easy reach. From Oskarshamn, you can also take excursions into the archipelago and to the island of Blå Jungfrun.

Families and Astrid Lindgren fans can enjoy a day trip to Vimmerby. Attractions there include Astrid Lindgren’s World as well as numerous places connected to the stories and films of the famous Swedish children’s author.

Kalmar, with its famous castle and historic old town, is another excellent destination for a day trip. From there, the Öland Bridge takes you directly to the island of Öland, known for its beaches, windmills, small farm shops and distinctive landscape.

From Hus Bohult, you can therefore explore both the peaceful inland countryside of Småland and the Baltic coast, as well as some of southern Sweden’s best-known attractions.

Hus Bohult is a non-smoking holiday home. One dog is welcome for an additional fee. Final cleaning is included in the rental price. A linen package with bed linen and towels can be booked for an additional fee.

Electricity is charged according to actual consumption. A security deposit of €200 is required for your stay.
