Nous sommes situés directement sur la rive surplombant le lac Kootenay. Un magnifique GEM 'Hidden Vacation Rental' en plein milieu des montagnes Purcell et Selkirk. Nous sommes nichés entre 2 lacs. Lac Kootenay, environ 2 milles de large et environ 90 milles de long, et Mirror Lake, à 5 ou 10 minutes de marche derriÚre notre propriété.

Notre chalet de 2 chambres est dĂ©finitivement un refuge qui dispose d'un intĂ©rieur en bois, d'une cuisine complĂšte et d'un vrai poĂȘle Ă  bois, avec une porte coupe-feu en verre. Nous avons Ă©galement le chauffage Ă©lectrique et une cuisiniĂšre Ă©lectrique; grande moquette en tuiles dans les chambres
Une reine et dans l'autre chambre 2 lits simples.

Une terrasse au bord du lac pour voir et apprécier toutes les merveilles de Dieu. Et, oui, nous avons un accÚs au lac, contrairement à tant d'autres propriétés. Nous sommes tellement cachés, il est difficile de croire que les commodités du shopping et de l'hÎpital dans la ville historique de Kaslo ne sont qu'à 4,8 km. Vous ne voudrez pas quitter ce refuge.

We really enjoyed our stay, the place has a beautiful view, was nice and clean and has a private beach. Lots of hiking in the area and we were able to rent a pontoon boat at a near by marina.

Great 5 night stay!

Cottage was well stocked, very comfortable, hosts very personable. We came for recreation, got in several great hikes, kayaked, paddled boarded, explored the town, had a lot of laughs,and met several locals along the way. Highly recommend if you love the outdoors.

Kaslo Trip

Cabin is well equipped and has a great view of the lake from a nice shady deck. Lake access is great with a nice beach. Biking and walking trails nearby were terrific. We will be booking this place again.

Lakeside get-away

Peaceful stay on a beautiful property, with wonderful hosts. A short walk to a pristine lake for swimming and paddle boarding. Enjoyed hanging out on the deck with its views of lake and mountains. Can’t wait to return!

Kaslo in summer is Paradise

Our family of 4 (2 teen girls) just got back from 2 weeks at this cabin. We enjoyed our time here. Karl and Inga are great hosts and the views are spectacular. We had amazing weather. We hiked the area, paddled, swam and saw some of the sights. But we also just hung around on the lake shore reading or in the cabin playing games. A very relaxing stay in Kaslo area.

Awesome Lake get away

The greeting upon check-in was awesome . Not comfortable right away . The view from the deck was breath taking. The beach was amazing. Absolutely awesome. We will be returning next year.

Excellent location and accommodation to unwind in peace.

I spent a week at this property in mid Aug 2016, along with three 15 year old boys. We found the accommodations to be very clean, and well suited to our needs for the week, the owners were very friendly, as well as helpful in suggesting local things to do and see. Although I personally went for the peace and quiet of the Kootenay's, the boys certainly enjoyed having satellite TV to watch the Olympics on, as well as WiFi which kept them connected to city life, while they were not enjoying the beautiful weather and spectacular water of Kootenay Lake. The beach area is private, there is a great fire pit with plenty of driftwood to burn on the beach, plenty of beach seating and floaty toys provided, the water is extremely clean/clear, and within a short paddle by canoe or paddle board, the boys found cliff jumping that kept them busy most days. Kaslo is a 5 minute drive and has everything you need for a vacation on the lake. This is a great place to relax and enjoy nature!

Wow! 10/10

Fell asleep to the sounds of the lake lapping against the beach in a cozy beautifully furnished cabin, after star gazing at night and watching the moon come up over the mountains. Spent each day fishing, paddle-boarding or simply reading and relaxing on the beach. The hosts are lovely and filled us in with great tips about the location and surrounding area. This place now holds a special place in my heart. I WILL be back💚

A gem on Kootenay Lake

A quiet spot with a beautiful view and easy beach access. Panorama Cottage is well set up for a family or a couple. Comfortable and low maintenance, close to Kaslo and yet far enough away to feel like you have found your own little piece of paradise. We will happily come back to this lovely place.

Beyond our expectations!

Many great pictures on this listing, but it is even better in person! Great location, quiet spot, spectacular views, access to the beach, comfortable beds... I could go on and on! And the owners live next door and they know the area quite well, thanks for all the great suggestions, we really enjoyed our week and we already know we will be back!

Second Trip to the Lake Housing

Idyllic Setting

Our family had a beautiful vacation at this Kootenay Lake cabin. Two weeks went so fast! The cabin is exactly as described. Karl + Inga are wonderful hosts - so helpful, kind and full of excellent suggestions for things to do and see. We enjoyed several incredible alpine hikes in the Purcells and in Kootenay Glacier Park. Other days we spent the day boating (we were able to moor our boat at the docks at the end of the street - so convenient). The beach was beautiful and we swam daily. I would highly recommend their cabin and the Kaslo and Nelson area. I can’t wait to return.
