Incredible view, plenty of space

I stayed at this house with my immediate family, including 3 kids, and my parents. The layout was great for us with plenty of space to spread out. The lake access, dock, and view were amazing. We roasted marshmallows by the water, took our kayak and paddleboard out every day, and soaked up time together. The kitchen was well stocked, though some appliances like the stove are dated. We would absolutely come back again.

Family gathering

I would have liked to know prior to arriving that the property is two separate units. The mattresses in the multiple bed room need to be replaced. The lake frontage , deck and dock were all incredible! The bear sighting was a bonus! Bathrooms were nice and the upstairs living area was sunny and bright.

Fabulous on Flathead

This is the perfect place to enjoy Flathead Lake. There were 12 of us and plenty of sleeping space. Loved the openness of the main floor kitchen to living room to deck. Cool breezes off the lake we’re delightful in the evening relaxing on the deck or at the fire pit

Amazing Getaway

This was the perfect cabin for our family vacation! In the quite small town of Dayton, it is right on beautiful Flathead Lake! Nice quiet neighborhood! Bring or rent a boat to take out to Wild Horse Island! The cabin well stocked with anything you may need! Close to lots of parks, hiking, shopping, and Glacier National Park! One thing if you have a large group there is no staircase inside the house to get from upstairs to the basement! Our group didn’t have real little kids so it worked just fine! We plan to return here!

Wonderful stay

We had a wonderful time here! We were lucky to have perfect weather for sailing and being out on the water. It is a peaceful spot, protected by the island and not a lot of boat noise. The layout of the house is great, perfect for social distancing with two separate living spaces. Beds were comfortable. We would stay here again. Our only complaint is it could use a good deep cleaning. Overall we had a great time, the perfect summer’s last hurrah!

We loved our time there! It was so nice to just sit back and relax and enjoy the beautiful view. The place had everything we needed and then some. We hope to make it back there one day.

Unforgettable week of fun and wonder!

Bringing family who haven’t seen or spoken to each other in years to one place for a week was a big gamble but it paid off for us in Moonbeams and Cabin Dreams . Everyone left with with hugs, many s’mores and campfires and new relationships. The house has many futons or sofa beds for the teenagers or kids that need space occasionally in addition to the normal bedrooms. Our littles made tents with the blankets when they had too much sun. Between the upstairs and downstairs kitchens you have everything you need, although I did bring my own slow cooker. If the downstairs bathroom had more space to store your toiletries that would be a plus as there is beds for 6 people in the area. It’s a beautiful property. Worth your consideration if you are looking for a place on Flathead Lake in Montana!

High School Church Youth Retreat

Great location!

We had a good time during our stay at the cabin. The beach/dock/deck areas were fantastic! The house was as advertised aside from very outdated appliances and we were disappointed in the cleanliness.

Had a wonderful week at this cabin. Having waterfront access was amazing! Great spacious living area was perfect for our family of 14. Views are beautiful. Would recommend and would luv to come back one day.

Four years straight, the highlight of our summer!!

We have been sharing this property with another family every July since 2015. The home is clean and well laid out for 2 families. Mornings on the deck are breathtaking. The location is perfect for access to the lake, close to Polson or Bigfork, and great places to see like Wildhorse Island. Would definitely recommend this for anyone looking for an extended stay on the lake.

Perfect place for big family on the go

Our family stayed at Moonbeams and Cabin dreams for almost 2 weeks to prepare for our daughter’s wedding. We loved this property and it fit all of our needs. Everything worked as it should and we had zero need to contact the property manager during our stay. Moonbeams and Cabin Dreams was perfect for everyone in our family to have some space of their own as the ages of our guests ranged from 12 to 75. The layout of the house is great, the views were awesome, especially the sunrise from the dock or the deck. The location was perfect for day trips to several attractions such as Glacier National park, The National Bison Range, Missoula, fireworks in Polson, Lakeside MT for dinner at Tamarack Brewing Company and very close to Big Arm Boat Rentals and Rides in Big Arm, where you can rent boats, ski doo’s, paddle boards, kayaks or just get rides to Wild Horse Island at an affordable price. (Matt the owner is awesome) The house is well stocked with kitchen utensils and cookware, there are several options for sleeping arrangements with four bedrooms that slept multiple people on comfortable beds and sleeper sofas for kids that just need a place to crash. The open living area in upstairs was perfect for our family of 9 and several guests that stopped by to sit and spend time while making a meal. The living area in the downstairs was perfect for the teenagers or young adults to escape a couple of rain showers that popped up. The spacious backyard was where we spent the bulk of our time. It looks over Flathead lake with views of Cromwell and Wild Horse Island . With binoculars you can spot deer on Cromwell. We had a beautiful sunrise view each morning from the dock, where we also caught several fish and spent time sitting around the fire pit on the abundance of lawn chairs provided. It was also nice that firewood is provided unlike most other rentals. We will return to Moonbeams and Cabin Dreams in the near future.

Moonbeams and Cabin Dreams was Amazing!

My family gathered for a sibling celebration to celebrate the life of our older brother who passed away the month before from a long battle with brain cancer. What a delight it was to enjoy sunsets at the water's edge around the fire pit in our shorts and sweatshirts and sunrises on the beautiful deck as we enjoyed our morning coffee together! We also enjoyed some superb family meals from the home's kitchen..........and what a delight it was to enjoy the clear, pristine water of Flathead Lake from the wonderful new dock! It was so enjoyable to have access to the lake on the two days we enjoyed boats during our stay! We laughed together.........we cried together.......we renewed our family bonds as we made new forever memories at Moonbeams and Cabin Dreams! If you are looking for a wonderful place to gather.....and a place to enjoy the beauty and tranquility of Flathead Lake, Montana.....this is a vacation retreat that will not disappoint! Thank you to Catherine for helping us on the front-end to set up a vacation that will be in all our hearts forever!

Well kept and well furnished!

We enjoyed everything about this property. The home is lovely and even though you have neighbors it felt very private to my family. I enjoyed watching my grandchildren jump up in the morning and head to the private dock for some fishing. We were all awestruck with the scenery from the upper deck. Definitely had a true Montana experience with this rental!

A little piece of paradise

We stayed here on a multi-family vacation and had an absolute blast! I was most impressed with the amount of room in the upstairs living room, there was MORE than enough to have all of us in there at once to all get together and have game nights. The back yard and dock were perfect for lots of time spent playing in the water. The property manager was very easy to work with and quick to answer any and all of my questions. I would definitely rent this property again

Absolutely wonderful!

Can't say enough about this place. It had every amenity you could possibly need. And the setting was spectacular. A great little beach with grass rolling right down to it. There was a lot more room in the house than it looked and for our big group having a big livingroom was perfect. Would definately recommend this place for a large or intimate gathering!

Beautiful sights

Had a wonderful time, house is well kept up. Love the lake and being right on the water. We had a group of 11 and were very comfortable. I recommend this place to everyone looking for a wonderful place to vacation.
