Welcome to Hus Jorgentorp, a cosy holiday home near Emmaboda in southern Småland. Surrounded by forest, in a beautiful secluded location and only around 800 metres from Lake Löften, the house is a wonderful retreat for anyone looking for peace, nature and plenty of privacy. Hus Jorgentorp is particularly well suited for a holiday in Sweden with dogs thanks to its large, partially fully fenced garden.

The holiday home offers around 60 m² of living space for up to 4 guests. Its cosy interior and peaceful location in the middle of nature make it particularly suitable for couples, small families and dog owners.

On the ground floor, you will find a well-equipped kitchen with everything you need for a comfortable self-catering stay. Facilities include a dishwasher, oven and microwave.

The cosy living area is the perfect place to relax after a day outdoors. On cooler evenings, the wood-burning stove creates a warm and welcoming atmosphere and adds to the traditional Swedish holiday-home experience. A Smart TV is also available. Thanks to fast fibre-optic internet, you can stay well connected even in the middle of the forest – particularly convenient for longer stays or if you need to work remotely during your holiday.

The two sleeping areas are located upstairs. First, you enter a walk-through bedroom with an extendable bed, which is particularly suitable for children. From there, you reach the separate main bedroom with a double bed and an additional TV. The house therefore provides sleeping accommodation for up to four guests.

A bathroom is also available.

One of the highlights of Hus Jorgentorp is its spacious natural garden. The holiday home is surrounded by approximately 1,800 m² of private grounds, of which around 1,000 m² are fully fenced. The fence is approximately 110 cm high, giving dogs plenty of space to move around outside during your stay.

Hus Jorgentorp is particularly well equipped for guests travelling to Sweden with their dogs. Up to 3 dogs are welcome. Dog beds, bowls and two foldable dog crates are already provided at the house. Cats are not permitted.

Children also have plenty of space to play and explore around the house. A swing and sandbox are available, and the Swedish forest begins right beyond the property.

The location makes Hus Jorgentorp an excellent choice for a nature holiday. Hiking trails start directly from the holiday home, allowing you to explore the surrounding forests without first having to drive anywhere. Various routes offer opportunities for longer walks of up to around 10 kilometres.

Only around 800 metres away is Lake Löften. On warm summer days, you can go swimming, relax by the water or simply enjoy the peaceful lake landscape of Småland. The lake is also suitable for paddling.

Hus Jorgentorp is also conveniently located for day trips. The town of Emmaboda is around 10 kilometres away, where you will find shops, restaurants, a pharmacy and a railway station.

One of the best-known attractions in the region is Glasriket – the Kingdom of Crystal. Around Kosta and the surrounding villages, you can visit traditional glassworks and workshops and learn more about the long history of Swedish glassmaking. Kosta is approximately 35 kilometres from the holiday home.

Älmhult and the IKEA Museum are also well worth a day trip. If you would like to explore Sweden’s Baltic coast, you can visit Kalmar or Karlskrona and combine your peaceful forest holiday with a day by the sea.

Hus Jorgentorp is a non-smoking property. Up to three dogs are welcome, while cats are not permitted. Bed linen and towels are not provided and must be brought by guests. Electricity is charged according to actual consumption at 5 SEK per kWh.

One basket of firewood is included. Additional firewood is available if required.

A security deposit of 3,000 SEK (approximately €250) is required and must be paid before the stay.
