Also worth visiting are the Sanctuary of San Francesco di Paola or the Church of the Sanctuary of the Madonna of Tindari, with its famous Black Madonna. Milazzo is also a paradise for sea lovers. The Tono beach is one of the most beautiful, with fine sand and crystal clear water, perfect for relaxing. If you love adventure, you can take an excursion to the Aeolian Islands, which are easily reached by ferry. These volcanic islands are famous for their breathtaking landscapes and crystal-clear waters. It is the ideal place to enjoy fresh fish and typical Sicilian dishes. You can enjoy spaghetti with sardines, fresh tuna, caponata and cannoli. Don't miss a Sicilian granita, especially in summer. Local restaurants offer excellent dishes with sea views, making every meal a special experience. In the evening, Milazzo offers a bit of movida, but if you are looking for something more lively, just take a short trip to Capo d'Orlando, where there are bars, clubs and discos for late-night entertainment. If you prefer a quieter evening, Milazzo's seafront promenade is ideal for an aperitif with a sea view. Milazzo is also well connected to other Sicilian towns such as Patti, Tindari and Capo d'Orlando, so you can easily make excursions to the surrounding area. Patti is famous for its Basilica of Saint Anthony and the Archaeological Museum, while Tindari offers a Greek theatre and the Sanctuary of the Black Madonna. Capo d'Orlando has beautiful beaches and a livelier nightlife.
