Visitor’s Tax/Overnight Stay Tax of the Hanseatic City of Wismar (5%):
The Hanseatic City of Wismar levies a visitor’s tax/overnight stay tax of 5% on the travel price of the booked accommodation. This is not included in the travel price and will be billed separately upon booking. Since the visitor’s tax/overnight stay tax is not based on the number of people, guests of the Hanseatic City of Wismar will not be issued a visitor’s card.

We are pleased to offer you our new exclusive vacation apartment *Aal*, located right in the heart of Wismar’s Old Town. It has been extensively renovated, tastefully furnished, and equipped to a high standard, and will be available to all interested vacationers starting in April 2019.
With 54 m² of living space, you’ll find every comfort you need for a restful and relaxing vacation. Once you arrive, enjoy the convenience of leaving your car behind and being right in the historic center of the Hanseatic city of Wismar. For example, the Wismar Market Square is a 2-minute walk away, and the Old Harbor, with its sailboats and occasional cruise ships, is a 10-minute walk away.
Our “Aal” vacation apartment:
— a modern vacation apartment for 2–4 people, approx. 54 m² of living space, 2nd floor
— living room with a large sofa (pull-out sofa bed that sleeps 2 people), flat-screen TV, dining area for 4 people
- separate, bright, and inviting kitchen, fully equipped with, among other things, a toaster, coffee maker, electric kettle, dishwasher, 4-burner ceramic cooktop, oven, microwave, dishes, silverware, kitchen utensils, and much more
- separate bedroom with a double bed, an extra flat-screen TV, and a large closet with plenty of storage space

Please note that the vacation rental is located on the 2nd floor and is accessible only via a steep staircase. An elevator is already in the planning stages but still requires approval from the city.
