Visitor’s Tax/Overnight Stay Tax of the Hanseatic City of Wismar (5%):
The Hanseatic City of Wismar levies a visitor’s tax/overnight stay tax of 5% on the travel price of the booked accommodation. This is not included in the travel price and will be billed separately upon booking. Since the visitor’s tax/overnight stay tax is not based on the number of guests, visitors to the Hanseatic City of Wismar will not be issued a visitor’s card.

Our vacation apartment “Zur Gelbgießerei” is located in a historic old town house in the center of the Hanseatic city of Wismar. It measures 64 square meters and is comfortably and cozily furnished for 2 people. There is the option of adding a pull-out sofa bed in the living room to accommodate 2 additional guests. Wismar’s harbor, with its charming restaurants, and the historic market square with its beautiful gabled houses are within easy walking distance.
A small, landscaped courtyard is available for guests to use; smokers are welcome to enjoy their cigarettes there.
Parking is available in large parking lots about a 5-minute walk from the vacation rental.
A seaside resort with a beach and pier is located in the Wismar-Wendorf district. This part of town is about a 15-minute drive away. This is a non-smoking apartment; pets are not allowed.
