Recreation area Geestmerambacht is a beautiful place to walk, swim and relax. If you like golf, then the golf courses of Alkmaar, Dirkshorn and Winkel are within driving distance. And even a day at the beach is within cycling distance!

Within 20 minutes by car you will arrive in the atmospheric center of Schagen, in the summer there is the Westfriesemarkt on Thursday with parades in traditional costume. This special nature reserve is located nearby, within cycling distance in Sint Maartensvlotbrug. There are plenty of facilities in the vicinity of the apartment complex and many activities are organised. In Petten, for example, you will find several restaurants, beach pavilions for a nice bite to eat and a drink and a Spar supermarket.

The area offers more than just beach and sea for children. Consider a visit to the play park ‘De Goudvis’ or the play park ‘Land van Fluwel’. There are many more play parks and zoos in the area! A little further on you will find the pirate ship in Camperduin and the famous climbing dune in Schoorl. A day with less nice weather?
