Waste away the afternoon in the screened-in porch or on the front porch swing watching the parade of majestic boats go by. You never need to get in your car after you arrive. It is just a few blocks to downtown Lake City and all it has to offer. The Lake City Marina is just two short blocks away. There is a tennis court there as well. This house had so much charm. Loved the decor. The location was perfect. Right on the water in a quiet neighborhood. The bald eagles did not disappoint. It was a wonderful relaxing get away! I will be back.

Prime location with stunning views. Kitchen was stocked with supplemental items (think spices, cooking oil, tin foil, etc) which meant we didn't need to buy our own. Bedding and towels were of nice quality and not overly used.

Location is amazing. Property is comfortable. Upstairs cleaning could have been more thorough (spiderwebs on the walls, needed a better vacuuming). Porch is so wonderful but starting to see its wear.So nice to have the firepit.Overall would stay again!

This was truly "a room with a view." We much enjoyed our stay. Only issues were: the instructions for getting in and connecting to wifi were not accurate: dishwasher did not work well: it was hard for us older adults upstairs to use a bathtub.

My husband and I are residents of Rochester, MN so we have been fortunate enough to enjoy weekends on the water in Lake City for years. It is a short 40 minute drive to all the beauty and energy the river has to offer! My husband is an architect and I am a real estate broker with a degree in interior design. We have been involved in the renovation of real estate for years.
