Tu l'as trouvé! Un grand 1 100 pieds carrés, deux chambres, location de vacances en bord de mer joliment amélioré qui peut accueillir jusqu'à 8 personnes et est entièrement approvisionné. Le Beach Lane Hale (prononcé «Ha-Lay») est un endroit parfait pour se détendre, profiter de la belle plage et visiter les attractions d'Oahu. Il est situé sur la frontière sud de Laie, sur la côte nord-est d'Oahu, donc les vagues ne deviennent pas si grandes que vous ne pouvez pas nager, ce qui arrive parfois sur la Côte-Nord pendant les mois d'hiver.

L'ensemble de la location est entièrement climatisé, pas seulement les deux chambres. Les deux chambres ont des lits king-size confortables et TV HD. Deux canapés futon en taille réelle dans le salon font de la place pour quatre invités supplémentaires ou des enfants.

La très grande cuisine est un endroit merveilleux pour préparer des repas ou barbecue à l'extérieur et profiter de la grande véranda couverte et de la cour entièrement clôturée avec étang à poissons. Un lave-vaisselle facilite le nettoyage.

Passer devant quelques maisons jusqu'au bout de la voie et vous trouverez un chemin juste à la plage (c'est un accès légal à environ 100 mètres de la maison). C'est un tronçon vierge, peu fréquenté, sablonneux, presque un mile de long de plage. Le parc de la plage avec des toilettes et des douches sont à proximité, ce qui rend les heures à la plage un jeu d'enfant.

A proximité se trouvent des centres commerciaux, des restaurants, le temple LDS, le centre culturel polynésien et BYU. Kualoa Ranch, où plusieurs films et séries télévisées ont été filmés, y compris Mighty Joe Young, Jurassic Park, Wind Talkers et Lost, entre autres, est à 15 minutes et offre des promenades à cheval, des excursions en VTT et autres divertissements. Les spots de surf de renommée mondiale de North Shore sont à seulement 20 minutes.

Amazing location for a family

We loved our stay here. The host made every effort to correct some issues. Great for a family with the quietest beach so close with provided toys, towels and chairs. However, the upstairs unit is so loud, not their fault just didn’t realize how loud having people upstairs would be and hard to sleep. Overall it was a great 8 days close to all the activities to play and chill in north shore. Thank you for our stay !

Fantastic property!

My family and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this house. The property was perfect for our family of 4 (although it could easily accommodate several more people). The large kitchen was amazing, the bedrooms were spacious, everything was very clean and well stocked. We loved the outdoor space and the quick walk to the beach. With the windows closed and A/C on the road noise was not an issue. We very much appreciated the location of this home and the quick access to so many of the sites we wanted to see. We'd definitely stay here again!

The property was easy access by car to all North Shore has to offer. Beach access was private. Our son has lived in Mililani for a year. He was able to direct us to all the places we shouldn't miss. Amazing!!

Great rental

We LOVED our stay at the Beach Lane Hale! It was spacious, very clean, and perfect for our needs. The bed was very comfortable. The kitchen was large and well stocked. We especially loved the location being so close to the beach, just at the end of the lane. The air conditioning was great! We loved our day at the Polynesian Cultural Center. Papa Ole's has delicious ribs and Seven Brothers was a fun and yummy place for hamburgers! Thanks for your hospitality, Greg.

Tranquility in paradise

We really enjoyed this property and it’s location. The home was very warm and inviting. Amazingly large kitchen to eat good food with family and play board games at night. Papa Ole’s restaurant and Tamura’s Grocery store were close by. The yard and fishpond were beautiful. The beach is very close and we enjoyed sunrise walks every morning on the beach. Perfect Family Vacation Rental!

Our family of five spent three nights here in early March. The house is very clean, well appointed, and spacious. There's lots of room to cook and gather inside. The covered patio and yard are also beautifully maintained, and provided room for our younger boys to mess around in between our hikes. The beach is a short walk, and it's an awesome beach! It was nearly deserted during the times we were there. Would recommend this rental to anyone, especially if you're wanting to escape the traffic snarls of Honolulu and REALLY enjoy adventuring in O'ahu. Thanks to our hosts for allowing us the privilege of staying in the rental!

We LOVED our week at the beach lane hale! What a perfect house to accommodate a family of eight! It had everything we needed --- even exceded our expectations! We loved the proximity to the PCC, beaches, hiking, touring, grocery store (with the nicest people). Who would want to stay in a hotel in the crowded city? We accomplished a lot of touring and still came home feeling refreshed. The private beach at the end of the lane is very nice --- we enjoyed the sunrise most every morning! We are already planning to return.

Hale Sweet Hale

The property was beyond our expectations and perfect for our stay on the quieter side of Oahu, which we love. The rooms and beds were very comfortable. The air conditioning was a big bonus, as well as the big kitchen and absolutely lovely yard. So close to the beaches, PCC, and North Shore. We have already recommended the property to friends coming in the near future. We really enjoyed Papa Ole's, the shrimp trucks, and Ted's. We also enjoyed snorkeling in Shark's Cove and Turtle Bay as well as just playing on the beach just steps away from the hale. Greg showed us his other rentals at the same place and they look just as wonderful. Thank you Greg and Cindy; we will definitely be staying there again.

Oahu vacation

We stayed in this home as a family with my 3 boys, myself, and my mother. With the fold out beds in the living room, there was enough room for everyone to sleep. The air conditioning was a great touch, and the yard outside was fantastic. We loved eating our meals outside, and the kids loved lounging in the hammock chair. We had a few issues like the oven not working for our Easter dinner, the toilet not filling so that it could flush, and the bathroom sink not draining, but all issues were addressed as promptly as possible and very professionally. Would highly recommend this home. Mahalo

Hawaii get away

For the most part everything was great. I had no idea that someone would be above us in this house and they were noisy people. At 2 in the morning they would be talking and woke my wife and up, they were loud going up and down the stair. We could even smell the cigarette smoke coming in the house at the kitchen when they were smoking outside.

Aloha, We are happy to hear that most of trip was great. We are very sorry about the loud tenants above you. We do have a no smoking policy for all our rentals and it is upsetting that these tenants did not abide by the rules. We just installed (May 2022) new flooring upstairs, downstairs and on the stairs. We hope with the underlayment, it will be quieter. I hope that your trip to Hawaii was overall a good one. We appreciate the feedback.

Excellent house!

The house was fantastic and we would definitely stay there again. The house was very clean with a huge kitchen, perfect for hanging out in and had all of the amenities; outside grill, air conditioning , ceiling fans, if anything we could have used a couple of more beach chairs, but we lacked for nothing else. The outside covered space was terrific and complete with an outside shower and washer and dryer. The proximity to the beach was great and the beach itself was never crowded . It is an easy walk to the stores, but also a short drive to additional shopping and the Polynesian Cultural Center. Greg was organized and on top of the arrangements. We stayed for two weeks and it was extremely peaceful. I would absolutely recommend this property as there were four of us and we had plenty of room; it is a very solid home!

Great family Hawaiian vacation

My family had a great time staying at Greg's place in Hauula. It was a perfect location with the loveliest beach down the lane. Just a short drive (or walk) to Halela Beach with the softest sand and access to shade and a grassy park made for fun beach days. A short walk south and there were some fun snorkel spots at the end of the beach. The house had air conditioning, comfy beds and ample space for my family of 5. My youngest two slept on the two futons in the living room which weren't the comfiest, but they didn't complain. The kitchen was well stocked with dishes and cooking equipment.You are so close to the Polynesian Cultural Center and Hukilau market (which was so much fun-one of my children said it felt like Disneyland). You are right off the Kam Highway, but it was surprisingly quiet inside especially if you had the fan running and we all slept really well. The outdoor shower and washer/dryer were VERY useful. Overall, we loved the location, close to Honolulu and the super busy north shore towns and beaches but in Hauula it was quieter and a little less "touristy" feeling.

Perfect Location and has everything you could possibly need. Home away from home.

This house was fabulous! It has everything you need and it’s location is fabulous. It was nice to be able to walk to the beach. You have a short drive to Laie where there is Foodland to buy groceries and fun places to eat or you can continue a little further to Kahuku where you have many delicious food trucks to choose from. We eat a lot at the house. There is a BBQ out on the back porch. There is a nice stove top and oven as well. The house itself was clean. Each room has its own AC unit. The beds were super comfortable. It could use some new pillows. You can pack light as you have access to a washer and dryer out on the back porch. There are boogie boards, coolers and beach chairs available. We would definitely stay here again.

Great property but noisy road

The property was great. It was clean, well kept and stocked. The beach is nice and access is easy. The neighborhood cats kept my daughter busy and entrained. The wifi was good and fast. The house had lots of snorkeling gear, boogie boards, beach chairs and coolers. The really only negative was the busy road noise. The property is directly located on the road and VERY noisy. The house was well equipped with ductless A/C in both bedrooms and living room and kitchen/dining area, so with the windows closed the noise wasn't that bad. The water heater was also on a timer that shut off at 10:30am (ish) and back on at 3pm or so, which was challenging at times. We enjoyed our time at this house and basically used it as a sleeping place as we visited family nearby.

Amazing! Amazing! Amazing!

Greg has gone to great lengths to make this house work for his guest. The kitchen is large, modern, well stocked and beautiful! The washer and dryer are brand new, the porch is comfortable and well appointed. The new A/C units cool the house as soon as you turn them on... we would turn them off when we would leave each day and by the time we turned them on and would get settled the house was perfect. We used boogie boards and snorkels that Greg keeps in the cabinet outside. There is grocery shopping literally just a block away, and the Polynesian Cultural Center and BYU-H and the LDS Temple within minutes. There is a great area of food trucks in Kahuku that can satisfy anyone in your group. This house is in the perfect area! Greg was quick to answer questions and very helpful. For us, this location was perfect. It was our first time to Oahu. The house is right on the highway, but so is pretty much every other house on that side of the island. It was great because we were just down the street from the beach. Short block away. The beach was beautiful! We had a referral from a friend to go to alligator rock and that was the exact beach where the house is located. It was wonderful for the kids to play, jump and explore. We have 6 kids and the house accommodated us very well. 2 futon beds in the living room and two bedrooms. It has a very large kitchen and large dining room. We loved the covered large picnic table with barbecue outside. The shower and Hose outside was really nice to get the sand off after the beach. There’s some beach gear, like three small boogie boards, some goggles and sand buckets and shovels. Thanks Greg for allowing us to stay here.

Aloha— this property is exactly as described : secluded 🏖beach ( Beautiful 🌅sunrises). It is extremely clean and well stocked for at least a week’s stay. It was very comfortable for our group, but the one bath for 6 to 8 would probably be a stretch. There are plenty of towels (both beach and bath). The lanai / fenced yard ( well kept by landscaping company ) with fishpond ( 🐠which needs water 💦added daily ) are nice but noisy from traffic, and the gate needs to be closed at ALL times. The beds🛏🛌are comfortable ( new sheets would be nice ). Kitchen/eating area is a great gathering place ! Having a laundry🧺is a SUPER + ( no sand in the suitcase )! We enjoyed the North Shore and all its amenities 🌊⛰😎🏖🍤🐳🦈🐓🐈🥥🥑🥝🍍🥂🍻🏄🏊. We enjoyed the north shore so much we only went to Honolulu / Waikiki one day. Remember you are on North Shore not in the city. This is a ground-floor rental, so if you are a light sleeper, the noise from upstairs might interfere. The owner quickly responded to all of our questions, has a nice booklet of activities, and articulates check in / check out procedures. We had a great stay ! Mahalo

Vacation home...

The private beach was beautiful! It was nice having a washer and dryer. The house was a nice size but we were not informed that this house is right on the main road and listening to constant traffic is not relaxing. There are no blinds in the large kitchen windows, these windows face a bus stop across the street where homeless people camped out. Both of the bedrooms need new mattresses, this caused me a lot of back pain and I could not sleep on the same bed as my husband. The lighting in the bathroom was terrible, I couldn't see well enough to put my make up on. The blankets on the beds were not clean I could smell oily skin on one of the pillows. In general the house smelled really bad. The futon couches would be okay for small children but not comfortable for our young adult children. We learned a good lesson which was to pay for insurance when booking our vacation stay in order to get a refund and stay somewhere else. We will never do something like this again! Always go with a reputable resort or hotel!

I sure hope other guests reading this will scroll through our many, many overwhelmingly positive reviews. I feel there are many subjective opinions and inaccuracies in this posting. The beach nearby is quite beautiful - but it is not a private beach. All beaches in Hawaii are public. As for the condition of our house, we take pride in our home and we take care in maintaining it - we have it professionally cleaned between every guest and also regularly do "Spring" cleaning as well. We stay at this home from time to time and our friends & family just love it. Of course, staying in a private home isn't everyone's cup of tea and there are going to be visitors that are much more comfortable with a resort/hotel experience. Our family loves having free parking, a washer/dryer to use, a real kitchen to cook in and the extra space and room when staying in a vacation home. It's just a different vacation style and I think people's expectations of staying in a beach house can vary quite widely. We are proud that 99.9% of our guests have a fabulous stay with many returning time and time again.

Great property

This place was great. We stayed in Waikiki last time we visited Hawaii. It is so busy that we wanted a different experience. Location was perfect. Very short distance to great food (Pennys malasadas, north shore taco, Papa Ole) in the parking lot about a block away. There is a Longs and grocery store in the same market. PCCC is just up the road probably less than a quarter mile and has plenty to do there. Beach access is great. Neighbors seem very friendly. Seems like there is a rental upstairs and maybe a little studio apartment on the same property but we only saw the upstairs resident like twice. There was also a cat who likes to crawl under the side gate and sit out by the steps. It was no bother. The rest of the block seemed pleasant and were friendly as we walked to the beach. Beach has a fair amount of reef and not busy at all so there are a lot of places to swim and play in the water. Seemed to be a spot that locals visited and we loved it in the mornings and evenings. Little drive gets you to several food trucks and an awesome bakery (Ted’s). House has a great Lanai and outdoor shower. There must be a tankless hot water heater bc 7 of us showered and did laundry and there was plenty of hot water for all of us. Kitchen was well stocked. AC and Wi-Fi were so nice to have. Had a cooler we used at the beach. One of the best things about the check out process was the fact that you can leave unopened food. I hate having to throw away a few bottles of water or cans of soda or that carton of eggs you bought thinking you were going to cook breakfast. I was nervous about getting our van in the parking space but fit perfectly. If you want to get away from the hustle and bustle of the other spots in Hawaii this place is for you. There are some reviews about the highway being loud, our youngest sleeps with a sound machine and that was enough for our whole family to sleep just fine. I am a terrible sleeper (shift worker) and I managed just fine. Only area for improvement I could see would be pillows. I could not find any for the fouton sleepers (I did not ask and we managed just fine) and the ones for the bed seemed a little flat. Again not complaining and probably could have been fixed easily but if someone reads this terribly long review and has to have a specific type of pillow prob should pack it or buy one once you get here.

The perfect place

We loved staying on this property. Our family enjoyed the close by beach and the location. The yard was beautiful and it had all the amenities we could want from beach supplies to aloe to all the kitchen needs. Thank you so much!!

Family celebration

We loved the location. Just a brief walk to the beach. The place was plenty big for our family of 5. Lives the spacious kitchen. Our only complaint was the shared walls with the upstairs guests. I read in the reviews but wasn’t fully prepared for the noise. We solved it by using a white noise at night to sleep.

Great house

All pictures are true minus the turtle. This place was great, not even a block to the beach. You do have to wait until low tide and then it's perfect. We had a issue with the wifi not working and it took hours to get a reply, we had no internet for 4 days. Which I didn't rent it for the wifi but did need it for work so had to drive to mcds. We left a whole lot of food, beach stuff and blow up bed for the next renters. Make sure to remember on the windward side that there is really no service or internet and the wifi seems to go out a lot. Also the top of the duplex is another space and it can get pretty loud depending who's up there. But don't get me twisted- it was AMAZING, WIFI was not part of what I was looking for in a rental

Aloha Tiana, Thank you for your review. I am happy to hear that you enjoyed your stay at Beach Lane Hale. Unfortunately during your stay Spectrum (the internet company) was having random service outages for a couple of days. I am sorry for the inconvenience. Also we just installed (May 2022) new flooring upstairs, downstairs and on the stairs. We hope the underlayment will make it quieter. We hope to have you visit our Hale again in the future.

We enjoy the beach...obviously but also enjoy the 'country' side of the island. Away from the hustle and bustle, there is a grocery store, a Longs (CVS) drug store and restaurants within walking distance which is great.
