A luxurious fully equipped 2 bedroom Penthouse situated just a very short walk to the warm waters of the Mar de Cristal beach.

For outside entertainment you have your own private balcony with a wicker table and four chairs, plus your own large private roof solarium with another dining table with six chairs, four sun loungers and a BBQ / Grill.

The La Manga Golf Club is around 5 minutes by car and this offers 3 championship golf courses, 28 tennis courts & spa facilities, Professional Football training centres and also a good selection of shops, bars and restaurants.

The La Manga Strip is about a 5 min drive away where there are many shops, bars, restaurants, disco's and entertainment for all.

The Penthouse is furnished to the highest of standards, with all mod cons including fast Wi-Fi, a 43" Smart television with Netflix & full UK Sky tv including sports etc (English, European & Spanish channels).

Your own private balcony which leads to a private roof top solarium (70 m2) for that perfect suntan or alfresco dining, while you overlook the amazing sea views of the Mar Menor, La Manga strip & surrounding areas.

Mar de Cristal and the La Manga area is also famous for it's black mud known for it's therapeutic and healing qualities and also very beneficial for the skin.

There are 42 kilometers of beautiful beaches around the Mar Menor with lots of romantic small Spanish towns to visit.

In the local harbours Puerto Mar de Cristal and Puerto Islas Menores you can also hire a small boat or Jet ski's to explore the Mar Menor. You can also book sailing lessons in the Mar de Cristal harbour.

If you are interested in diving, you can take lessons at the diving centre in Cab de Palo.

Lovely apartment near a lovely beach

Spacious apartment with 2 rooms and a living room with 2 sofas so comfortably fits 4 but can also take 6. Has a personal terrace accessible through stairs and access to a shared pool. Is a short distance away from a lovely beach. Very recommended.

Wonderful Stay

We found the apartment at Mar de Cristal well equipped with everything you could possibly need it was clean, comfortable with efficient air conditioning. The TV package including net flicks and was comprehensive , we found the host went out of his way to helpful. I would highly recommend this apartment which is situated in an area with amazing beaches and sea as warm as the Caribbean.

Just what we were looking for

We have stayed in Mar de Cristal in the past, and once we found out that it was in the same block as before, we were thrilled as we knew exactly where we had to go for the local supermarket and restaurants and bars. The property is well maintained and was very clean on arrival. Although, I gave five stars, I was a little disappointed with the selection of satellite channels as it would have been good to have ITV for the Euros, but we coped just fine. A couple of little things to maybe look at for next time is the water filling to the toilet - not sure if a couple of hours to refill is a normal thing or not - and the coffee machine which leaked all over the floor prompting me to think there was a bigger problem elsewhere- sorting it on the drainer soon solved that problem. Mark is a very friendly and helpful host and was always there tho answer any questions. I will absolutely be booking again in the ‘very’ near future.

Beautiful and quiet

We really enjoyed our stay. The apartment had almost everything we needed. Loved the balcony and roof terrace. We were new to Spain so knew nothing about this area. So this is what we discovered about Mar De Cristal; Beautiful beaches and the sea was crystal clear. Shallow for a long way out. Some jelly fish but they were harmless. They seemed to disappear towards the end of July. Lots of water activities but difficult to book anything at Mar de Cristal. Only a few restaurants. Some are quite expensive but Arena and Lasanvi are more reasonably priced. Los Belonas is a 3k walk or a 5 minute drive, with lots of restaurants. Mar de Cristal is very residential and it seems to be mostly Spanish living there/or have holiday homes. Transport links were not easy and very few taxis. We walked into Los Nietos, nothing really there. We also walked to La Manga Camping. Nice restaurant there. Same prices as back in UK. La Manga Strip/La Manga del Mar Menor are definitely worth a visit, as is Capo de Palos. With regards to the apartment, I would say that the only thing that was missing and would have been greatly appreciated as we arrived late, would have been some water left in the fridge. We arrived late and was gasping. Overall, we really enjoyed our stay and would go back again.

Lovely apartment, in a quiet and friendly complex

I booked a last-minute break for my family of four, and the owner was very helpful & informative. The apartment was clean and well equipped - beach chairs & towels were a welcome extra. Although there seemed to be a lot of people staying at the complex, it was never crowded at the pool or noisy at night. The only downside to the apartment was that the second bedroom did not have an air-conditioning unit, only a ceiling fan which was not very effective in the August heat at keeping the room cool enough for the children to get to sleep. Our bedroom was lovely and cool, so that was fine! Mar de Cristal is small and english is not widely spoken, so some knowledge of spanish would be useful. The local beach is lovely - quiet even in mid August with warm, shallow water. It is about a 10 minute walk from the apartment, but because we were carrying chairs, towels etc, we drove as it was easy to park very close to the beach. Arena Cafe on the beach is ideal for lunch, ice-cream and drinks. Piccolo Mar, next door is a good italian restaurant for an evening meal. For a better choice of places to eat, you do really have to go to Los Bolones. Although it is possible to walk there, we didn't fancy doing so in the summer heat with children - particularly not the return journey after dark. We were glad we hired a car, and would strongly recommend doing so. In summary, a lovely relaxing break which suited us perfectly because we wanted to do nothing but read, swim and eat in the sun!

Un séjour trÚs reposant

L'appartement est propre et trÚs bien équipé avec une grande terrasse sur la toit. Le village est trÚs calme, idéal pour ceux qui cherchent un endroit tranquille loin de bruit habituel de stations balnéaires. La mer n'est pas profonde et convient trÚs bien aux enfants. Apartamento muito funcional e com cozinha bem equipada. Ar condicionado ajuda na climatização de toda a årea. Parte exterior com varanda e terraço muito agradåvel. Condomínio com um ambiente tranquilo e barulho natural das crianças, mas muito moderado. Praia a 10minutos a pé e com boas acessibilidades. Localidade muito tranquila e sem ambiente noturno. Para animação, restauração e compras somente em La Manga num percurso de carro de 20m.

Hemos pasado 8 días agradables en el apartamento. Lo mejor, el aire acondicionado y las terrazas, una pena el calor, al ser agosto no hemos podido aprovechar la terraza de arriba por hacer demasiado calor. Había platos, cubiertos y menaje suficiente. También såbanas y toallas. Lo peor el ruido de la cisterna, intentaron arreglarlo pero seguía haciendo ruido

Estancia muy agradable.

El apartamento estaba correcto, el arrendador tiene un libro con recomendaciones y consejos sobre cĂłmo hacer mas agradable la estancia. El Ășnico pero es la falta de limpieza en electrodomĂ©sticos como microondas u horno. El apartamento se encuentra en un lugar muy adecuado para descansar, a 8-10 minutos andando de la playa. Respecto a la hosteleria, se echa en falta algĂșn restaurante o bar.

Una estancia muy buena.

El apartamento estĂĄ totalmente equipado, estĂĄ en un bloque tranquilo y familiar, perfecto para nosotros (dos adultos y dos niños, de 3 y 5 años). Las playas cercanas son tambiĂ©n tranquilas y familiares; nosotros Ă­bamos a ellas en coche ya que fuimos cambiando y habĂ­a siempre aparcamiento. La zona es perfecta para descansar y disfrutar de la playa. Si se busca fiesta, en los alrededores no hay demasiada oferta de ocio sin coger el coche. Aunque no hemos visto al propietario ni a Alison, la encargada, la comunicaciĂłn con esta Ășltima fue muy fluida y resolviĂł todas nuestras dudas en muy poco tiempo. RepetirĂ­amos sin duda.

This was an excellent location for us. The apartment was as described and more. First time "I wish I bought this with me" did not happen. Kitchen more than well equipped. Comfy seating area with beautiful sun rise most mornings. Roof terrace was a big hit very private. A home from home. A return visit a must.

Después de pasar 12 días con una unidad de AA que no funcionaba
 y que advertimos nada mås pasar una noche en la habitación principal sinceramente, mucho calor, es bastante decepcionante. Algunas veces la familia sospeso la opción de abandonar la vivienda. Noches sin dormir, buscando relajarte en el comedor, intentando dormir unas horas. El resto bien. Agradecer a Ali su atención y buen hacer.

Great Apartment

We stayed here for 8 days in July and thoroughly enjoyed ourselves, all the creature comforts of home, sky tv, air con, fully functioning kitchen, comfy bed, all complete with a massive roof terrace. A few local bars which do nice food and cheap drinks - compared to La Manga! Great little local Spar shop which has everything you need. If you like Indian food then Paras Indian in Los Bolones is an absolute must.. Great place, great hosts and we will definitely be back.

Stayed here several years ago , just as good as it was then . Only better , now with wi fi and all UK TV channels , which is great . Lovely apartment , Sean and mountain / country views . Would definitely stay here again and recommend to all family and friends. Management couple , Roger and Janice very helpful and polite . Overall great apartment

A great place to relax. Friendly locals, food and drink at very reasonable prices

The apartment has everything you could wish for. We particularly enjoyed access to the sheltered roof where we could enjoy the Winter sun. The local Spar is well stocked with produce at competitive prices. We were within walking distance of two towns. Los Nietos has the railway station. It is only a short and cheap journey to Cartagena. A great place to visit for its Roman artefacts, Civil war museum, shops and restaurants, amongst other attractions. I would recommend the hire of a car in the winter months as local transport is limited and unless you have your own water sports gear there is little to do on the beach except to enjoy the wonderful walks. The apartment is well maintained and, as a novice cook, it has a kitchen that has everything you could wish for. We were provided with timely information regarding our stay an the company information folder contains all the information that you need to know. I would highly recommend staying here. It was cheaper than remaining at home and heating the house.

Fab!

Great apartment unfortunately the person who normally would look after us had been called away but once we'd got a bit of local info from the owner it was great! Nightlife does not start till 12am, a car is definitely needed to explore & it's very spanish which was great. Apartment fab, roof terrace great for sun worshippers & so many added extras. Dishwasher, washing machine & coffee maker (which I've had to buy for home) were great extras. We had a boiler leak while we were there but we were amazed at how quickly & professionally it was resolved! A great apartment & if you want a quiet relaxing holiday A* Nightlife in La Manga not far away....

Heerlijke vakantie gehad

Woning is heerlijk, comfortabel en van alle gemakken voorzien. Het zonneterras is echt een bonus, we hebben daar vele uren doorgebracht. Mar de Cristal is een rustige plaats met een paar restaurantjes. Zeker een aanrader!

We really enjoyed our stay at this apartment,it’s a nice well kept apartment and complex in a nice quiet area, just what we were looking for , the apartment itself has plenty of homely extras that we didn’t expect ( dishwasher,sky tv), the roof terrace is a great sun trap and has spectacular views.

Lovely apartment near the sea

We spent a month in this apartment and had a great time. It was comfy and quiet. The reasonable price allowed us to take a month and really explore the area. My husband spent many hours lying in the sun on the rooftop patio which is completely private. There is an additional outdoor table and chairs on the rooftop terrace where you can enjoy a meal looking out over the Mediterranean Sea. Janice and Roger were exceptional managers. I had, unfortunately, had my purse stolen at the Malaga Airport. They loaned me a cellphone and assisted me by printing documents that I needed for an emergency passport. They were so very kind and helpful. We would definitely return.

We are a family run business and have been involved with property development in and around London since 1988 (Roche Properties). Over the years we have built up a large property portfolio with a lot of hard work put in for hours upon end, so when it comes to that time of year when you fly away to take some much needed rest in the sunshine on the hot sands of an exotic beach we know exactly what sort of accommodation we would like ourselves. This is where we got thinking why not have a home in each of our favorite locations around the world that we can share with friends and family. We recently opened these home up to other fellow holiday makers like yourself and decided to extend our business into holiday rentals. All the apartments and homes we own and rent out as holiday accommodation are all new, luxurious, romantic, and fun for all ages. They are all designed to give you the best accommodation possible, whether it's relaxing in the sun on your own private solarium in Spain, on your way down from the ski slopes in Bulgaria, fishing in Ireland or having a once in a life time family experience in Orlando Florida.



We make sure all our homes are all in perfect condition and they are all decorated and furnished to a very high and extravagant standard to ensure you have the most pleasant and pleasurable holiday possible.

We bought this Penthouse when they first started to build them. We were looking for a new home which was close to the beach, with stunning views and in a secure environment, this home was perfect.
About a year before we bought this home we had purchased a home in Harrow, England for ourselves, then a few weeks after buying the Penthouse I was in a shop in Harrow and bumped into a friend who I had bought our home in Harrow from, whist talking to him we discovered that he too had bought a Penthouse 1500 miles away for his family in the same resort as us. This confirmed it for us that this was a very good decision.

Even though we have several larger holiday rental homes Mar de Cristal, La Manga is where we and our family always spend our holidays at the end of August each year.
