Huffman Creek Retreat abrite trois maisons uniques sur un domaine privé et isolé dans Robbinsville, Caroline du Nord.

Le Homestead
Cette maison est idéale pour une famille nombreuse ou retraite d'entreprise. Avec quatre chambres privées et 3 salles de bain complÚtes, la maison peut accueillir 10 personnes. Le niveau supérieur a une salle de bain complÚte partagée par deux chambres. La premiÚre a un lit queen-size et la seconde a un ensemble de lits superposés de taille et deux lits jumeaux de taille supplémentaires. Le niveau principal a une chambre king-size, salle de bain complÚte, salon avec une télévision à écran plat, et l'accÚs à un porche surdimensionné avec un jacuzzi pour que tous puissent en profiter. La cuisine donne sur le porche et le salon décloisonné. Le niveau inférieur de la maison a une salle de réunion avec une table de billard, une buanderie, une salle de bain complÚte et une chambre avec lit king Profitez de votre café du matin sur le porche couvert, rattrapez votre bronzage sur le pont arriÚre, ou restez couché dans le lit que vous appréciez ce livre que vous avez eu l'intention de lire.

Profitez de la demi-mile de flux privĂ© avec une abondance de chutes d'eau et de la main creusa ponts. Soyez sĂ»r d'apporter une canne Ă  mouche et votre Ă©quipement de pĂȘche favori pour voir ce que vous pouvez prendre.

Our family loved the cabin. Beautiful area, the cabin was plenty of room for the family. Everything we needed was there. Enjoyed the pool table. Sad that the arcade game didn’t work. I’m also sad that I left my phone charger behind . Overall we had a wonderful time. Everything was clean and it also had extra fans and heaters. Very secluded, we will be coming back.

The cabin was clean and comfortable. If you get car sick I would think twice about this cabin. The roads to get there are very curvy. The hike to the plane crash was rough but worth it. It's a beautiful area. The fire pit is great. And there is a nice large back porch and a swing and rockers on the front porch.

PHENOMENAL! Everything about the stay exceeded expectations, by a large margin. The detailed directions with pictures got us there with no issues. Upon arrival, our firewood was already delivered and neatly stacked under cover from rain. The house was immaculately clean. That was our biggest worry going in and we were all very pleasantly surprised. Every room everywhere was spotless. They also totally undersell the best part 
 the private hiking trails! They were awesome, and in many parts beautiful, and the plane crash, while a somewhat strenuous uphill hike, totally delivers. Super cool. My only word of caution / advice is to arrive in daylight. Once you get on the grounds you will encounter some steep gravel roads and driveways and narrow bridges. The groundskeeper Kali answered every one of my countless text questions before and during the trip immediately, yet she gave us our space and we never saw her. We ran into the owner Robin at the Dance Hall trailhead and he was a super interesting, very nice guy with a gorgeous 1971 Land Rover. Overall, I would very highly recommend this place at twice the price!

The cabin was wonderful. The driveway and drive getting to it was a little difficult. There was only enough room for one case at a time to drive down. The creek was across the street from where we stayed. Overall me and my family had a wonderful time and would definitely do it again.

Road coming in is a bit rough for motorcycles, but otherwise a great stay and great house! Check in process of the code being sent to you the day of would have been good info to have. Still a great place!

Quite mountian cabin

If your looking for a great time in the mountains, this is it .Located not to far off the Cherohala skyway ,the tail of the dragon,numerous rivers ,lakes,or just simply stay at the cabin no disappointment here.

This was the perfect family friendly home with space for everyone to spread out and be comfortable. The house was well supplied with everything we needed . we spent hours with our grandchildren ages four through 19 hiking and jumping from rock to rock down the creek the area is absolutely beautiful so relaxing being surrounded by the trees and the sound of water running over the rocks surrounds you Robbinsville is about 11 miles away has grocery and drugstore along with a impressive pizza buffet grandchildren asked if we could go back again next summer we willabsolutely be back.

Raid Complete :)

Our group of friends were able to come together in North Carolina from all over the states. We met about 18 years ago playing World of Warcraft online and this was our first in person get together :) The property was wonderful! Such a perfect setting for us to explore, eat good food and relax. The house was comfortable and had everything we needed. The back porch area is where we spent most of our time. There were rocking chairs, fire pit, and a lovely giant table perfect for hanging out. If we are ever back in this area, we would stay here again.

Beautiful cabin in a great location

My family & I had a great time. This is the 1st cabin I've been to that had such a well stocked kitchen where I had to put away everything I brought up there. The location & property were beautiful. You can do some serious hiking on the land around the cabins. The cabin was clean & everything we expected it to be. Kali the property mgr is so helpful & sweet. We'd definitely come back again.

Wasn’t quite what I was expecting

Driveway was rocky and hard to navigate on bikes. Basement smelled of mold and mildew so wasn’t able to use bedroom due to intense odor. Shower water pressure was inconsistent and made showering not easy. Also doesn’t drain well leaving you standing in water. Wall unit hvac in main bedroom didn’t work.

Peaceful retreat

Our group of 5 adults stayed for one week with our dogs. The cabin was plenty big, the beds were comfortable, and we had all the kitchen equipment we needed for preparing our meals. We especially appreciated the opportunities to hike on property, near beautiful streams, with the dogs. We would definitely consider returning to Huffman Creek Retreat.

Fantastic stay on a beautiful property.

The directions to the property were spot on. The house was spotless and very nice. The only thing that might give someone caution with rent this house is that you have to go back a gravel road to get to it. If you're an inexperienced rider you may have a problem. We did not have any issues with bringing in our trailer or riding in and out. A group of Harleys didn't seem to have a problem either. I just think that you should know. We are looking forward to booking this property again. We had a great time and loved the house.

Short comings

Great place to get away from it all. However, floors and rugs were very dirty, only two trays of ice in freezer for family of nine, and showed pictures of gas logs, but were not usable.

Homestead

It was an awesome home! Thank you for sharing it with us. I am 62 and hiked up to the plane crash! It was a rough climb but was well worth it. We had the best time of our lives! The house was plenty big enough. So many trails and waterfalls.

5 of us stayed there for 7 nights. And I can truly say that we had a great time. We saw a lot of different sights that were absolutely beautiful. Even if I give the grill a rating of a 1. I still give the cabin a 5 star rating. I would recommend replacing the grill with a better char coal grill with a lid. So you can cook your food better. I can truly say that who ever stays there I hope that they have as good a time as we did. Thank You

Only thing that was wrong with this property was the roads need to be maintained much better it was a hard time getting up to the house, recommend a four-wheel drive vehicle...

After vacationing here as a child, we knew this was an experience we wanted to share with our children. Over the years, we searched for the perfect mountain home only to create our own private escape of several residences. Today we own seven mountain homes on nearly 1,000 acres at our Huffman Creek Retreat in Robbinsville and look forward to sharing them with you, your family, and friends.

When you arrive at the Homestead on Huffman Creek, it may take you a few minutes to unwind. Grab your favorite book and head to the porch, hammock, or stream, and prepare for a trip of pure relaxation. Our favorite thing to do is prepare a 'breakfast extravaganza' each morning for the few early risers in the bunch. Prepare a pile of pancakes for those morning lovers and let the rest stay snuggled in bed. Best of all, by the time those morning lovers wrap up, the rest of us are about ready for a day of hiking, exploring, and sometimes napping. It's just the right size home to offer a good combination of gathering spaces and privacy.
