Waterfront location, needs maintenance

House had a nice waterfront view with open layout but in need of maintenance: dock covered in geese droppings, making it impossible to walk on, stained carpeting upstairs in several areas, difficult front door lock, bugs to be expected but covered areas which made it challenging to enjoy without spending time cleaning areas.

Lakeside Find

Great location for water and land sports, as well as touring and wine tasting, etc. The house is lovely with a great deck overlooking the lake and private beach.

Annual Family Get-A-Way

This is a perfect property for family. The layout allowed us to gather or sequester. We played numerous games evenings and enjoyed the day on the lake swimming, canoeing, rowing & kayaking. Campfire at night, pristine clear sky for star watching. We are looking forward to returning...

Lovely Location

House was exactly as advertised and very clean. Beds were very comfortable and kitchen was well stocked. The location on the lake was amazing. There are a lot of steps to get there but it wasn't an issue. All houses in this area have a steep incline. House is in walking distance to the state park which was wonderful for the mornings. We also walked to the Esperanza Mansion for dinner which was great. I highly recommend this house for its cleanliness, comfort and especially its location!

Girl Trip 2019

Beautiful property, great view and accommodations as expected. We had a ball!!! Would love to do it again sometime. Woohoo wine tasting here we come. 😁

September 2017 Stay

We have rented on this lake for many many years. This was by far one of the best lake homes we have rented. It was very well-equipped with everything we needed in the kitchen, deck and lakeside. Very good parking too. We look forward to renting again!

Great House with Great Views

We stayed at Chateau Esperanza for a ladies' wine weekend and had such a great time staying at this rental home. This is our 3rd rental experience and it was by far the best. The kitchen was so well stocked with all the cookware you could need. It was open to the dining room and living room, making it nice for socializing. The 3 bedrooms were very roomy and comfortable. The best feature was the wonderful deck overlooking Keuka Lake. Great place to sit and enjoy a glass of wine. The house has some beachfront with a dock and we were very fortunate to have warm weather so we were able to do some swimming. The house even had some floats to use in the water. This is a great place to stay if you want to do the Keuka Lake wineries, which I found a lot more low key and relaxed than the Seneca Lake wineries. However, it is a short drive to get over to the West shore of Seneca Lake. We visited both lakes. We took advantage of the home's wonderful kitchen and gas grill and cooked all our meals so I cannot really provide a restaurant recommendation. The only caution I would have is for people that might have a difficulty with stairs. There are stairs from the parking area to the house and quite a few stairs to get to the beach.
