Charmant Oceanfront Cottage

Rénové / 2 salle de bain chalet de plage de 2 chambres situé à Fort Morgan. Belle véranda en bord de mer court sur toute la longueur de la maison. Nature Preserve situé juste à côté et donne des miles de plage undevelopable dans cette direction. Endroit calme et isolé, idéal pour la détente. Le chalet a été complètement mis à jour, mais conserve le charme du vieux monde de sa date de 1939 build.
Si vous êtes comme nous, vous vivez sur la véranda. Il n'y a pas un meilleur endroit pour se détendre!

Talk about a place that is good for your soul, Aunt Pattie’s Cottage is it!!! It is the perfect little beach house. Spectacular location, nicely furnished and a screened in porch that truly makes you never want to leave, not to mention the amazing host…. Hands down the best!!! Thank you for allowing us to share in your little slice of heaven!!

This cottage had everything we needed for our stay and was exactly as described. It was super clean. The bed linens and towels were luxurious, which is important to me. The welcome basket left by the host was a nice touch. The house manager was readily available to answer our questions upon arrival. We loved the cottage and look forward to returning.

We wanted a place away from all the tourists and this cottage was the perfect place. It was close enough to get anywhere we needed but without the traffic and noise. We absolutely loved the porch overlooking the beach, listening to the waves, and enjoying the stars. We will be back!

Exceptional accommodations that made this stay feel like a home away from home! Think Nantucket vibes but on the Alabama gulf coast- AMAZING! From the history of the cottage, location (unobstructed beachfront views), pet-friendly, and well-appointed, clean atmosphere- this was by far the best place we have stayed! Perfect for our family of 4 and one small chiweenie! The host was very responsive and easy to work with! Highly recommend and we will definitely be back in the future!

The house is very nice with all the amenities you need. we spent most of our time on the back porch, which is screened in and very comfortably furnished. The location is very unique. It is inside the nature preserve, and they’re only a few houses nearby. There are not many people around, which was nice. The house is right on the beach, and only about 50 feet from the water, which is very convenient. Our dogs enjoyed walking on the beach and playing in the water. We very much enjoyed our stay.

Everything about Pattie’s Cottage and the host was perfect! Gantt was so great with work with. We chose the cottage specifically for the location right on the beach and it did not disappoint. The screened in porch was a bonus we didn't know we needed. The sunrises and sunsets are better than any picture you can imagine. The beach, while accessible to the public, felt private because there were few people other than ourselves. We couldn’t have asked for a more perfect place to celebrate our anniversary and will definitely make another trip in the future. We would 100% recommend Pattie’s Cottage to anyone looking for a place to truly relax and reset. Thank you Gantt, for allowing us to share your special place.

Location is great, aware from the main touristy areas. There is a public beach access nearby, so there are still folks around, but this house is right on the beach. Communication was good with the owner, and access was quick and easy. If you truly want a place to un-plug and relax away from the hustle and bustle, this is it.

A must stay in the Gulf Shore!

Aunt Patties, quickly became one of our new favorite places! This amazing beach front, is clean, well kept, a great location right on the beach, and so much more! They are thought of all the little details to make this stay a true home away from home. We highly recommend Aunt Patties, thank you for a wonderful stay! We cannot wait to come back again soon!

Perfect Getaway

My family had another amazing stay at Aunt Pattie’s Cottage. From the ease of check-in to the beautiful property and location, there is nothing I can suggest for improvement. My family and I adore the beach house, beach, hosts and all the wonderful touches. It is a wonderful getaway for all ages. Our entire family looks forward to Aunt Pattie’s each summer we’re able to go!

We have stayed on Fort Morgan for a month long stay several years, and this was our very best experience! First, Gantt was patient and promptly responded to my many questions during booking. You can tell by his attention to detail with all the furnishings and many thoughtful touches for the renters, such as emergency kits in the kitchen and both bathrooms, that he loves his cottage and wants everyone to enjoy their stay, stress free. Honestly, I overpacked for this stay to the max since I was staying for a month and nearly every household item I packed was already provided. If you do need something the dollar general is 3 miles down the road. The manager of the cottage, Stacy, is located nearby and was never intrusive, but quick to respond to any questions or to come by if needed.It was a delight and privilege to wake up every day to these amazing views from every room and to stay in such an unusually special location next to the wildlife refuge. One of our favorite forms of entertainment was watching and interacting with Henry the Heron. We already miss the sights and sounds of the Gulf.I wish I had found this gem earlier. If you see an opening on the calendar, you better book it quickly, as it’s a popular property.

Perfect relaxing getaway!

I came and stayed with my two dogs for a solo getaway long weekend. It was perfect! Very peaceful secluded area surrounded by a beautiful nature preserve. The cottage is perfect and well-decorated. The screened in porch is perfect for all times of day. Looking forward to my next stay!

35th Wedding Anniversary

Celebrated our 35th Wedding Anniversary at this cottage which was amazing. To find a near private cottage right on the beach with these amenities is truly rare and exceptional. We’ll be back for sure!

We didn't want to leave!

This property is extremely special! It feels private and nurturing with the beach directly in front of the property. We enjoyed coffee overlooking the ocean and beautiful walks on the beach. The host is just as exceptional as the property. You can tell that they enjoy sharing this special home with others. We will definitely stay here again!
