A lovely 2 week stay in Northton! Attended the Harris Agricultural show in Leverburgh which was good fun! Love this part of the world - beautiful beaches and scenery and so peaceful and tranquil…

This was a return visit to this immaculately presented and equipped home. It is beautifully situated with walks and beaches direct from the house. The view from the house is magnificent.

The house was very spacious and well-located, with great views and walks from the doorstep. Communications with the host were excellent. There were lots of local books to enjoy and all was very clean. We both wished there was a bath tub, although the shower is large and water pressure very good. The memory foam mattress in the main bedroom is very soft and was a little uncomfortable for us, but this did not majorly detract from a lovely quiet and peaceful stay. It did perhaps seem a little expensive, but we enjoyed our stay and would return.

Lovely property, lovely location.Holiday slightly spoilt by lack of instructions to operate the television and difficulty communicating with the host.Our problems were not resolved until the Wednesday of a Sat to Sat booking.

Very well equipped and cosy cottage. Very comfortable bed and pillows. Great views and a short walk to a lovely nearby beach. Nearby Croft 36 a must visit with lovely bakery products and filled rolls. Don’t miss a visit to AS Apothecary just along the road in Leverburgh.Highly recommend this cottage.

A wonderful warm, well equipped, comfortable cottage with lovely views from the big windows. Beautiful beaches a 10 minute walk away. The bread shed in the village to get fresh rolls, pizza and ready meals. Complete peace. Lovely

3rd visit and we still love it!

Just visited Taransay Cottage for the 3rd time and we've enjoyed it as much as the first time we went. It's a beautiful cottage, great location, near to beautiful beaches. We can't fault it and look forward to returning soon.

A fantastic holiday property in a stunning location. The layout and design provided beautiful views from all rooms. The location is convenient for visiting local beaches, fishing and eateries! I would definitely recommend this property!

Thank you for the review. I am glad you enjoyed the location and layout of the house, it does have a great view from every window, its all too easy to sit in and look out and not get out to enjoy the scenery if you're not careful. I am always impressed by how bright it is and yet has a cosy feel. We are enjoying a stay here ourselves at the moment and it always does feel like coming home.

The house was tidy and clean. We had a lot of space. The views from the windows were magnificent. The beach nearby was great for a swim and all the others around also. We had a great holiday also because of the emazing weather.

Love Harris and the property location is ideal for us. Check in was easy and smooth. Kitchen facilities are good and there’s plenty utensils, but feel new oven/hob may be needed soon!

This house is in a great position with wonderful views. It is very spacious and has everything you need. It was spotless and has good drying facilities for those wet days that can happen! Great for beach walks and bird watching from the house. We would like to return.
