Carnmore est un quatre chambres à coucher, une salle de bains et un chalet moitié irlandais situé dans le quartier de Galway Connemara. Il est sur le chemin de l'Atlantique sauvage et est situé sur 16 acres de terres agricoles généralement robuste Ouest Galway. Niché dans la chaîne de montagnes Twelve Bens et surplombant l'océan Atlantique, Carnmore est la tache de vacances les plus reposantes on peut rêver. Favorite vacation rental ever!

We have been lucky enough to travel far and wide to some beautiful places, but this vacation home is by far the best. The hospitality is great, the views are incredible and the accommodation is very comfortable. This house is obviously loved and it shows. We love it too and so will you!

Lovely Irish Cottage with incredible views!

My husband and I traveled to Ireland with our three adult sons. Carnmore accomodated the five of us beautifully. The cottage was neat and tidy and offered incredible views of the ocean. Connemara was a perfect location to take day trips. I would highly recommend staying at this lovely Irish cottage and hope someday to return!

An enchanting and most relaxing holiday

We enjoyed the peace and tranquillity of this ideally located house...we enjoyed beautiful views morning noon and night and got to swim in the clear and fish filled sea nearby..we climbed the Diamond which was breathtaking..all in all a beautiful memory for all the family and we would love to return. Thank you for giving us this unique opportunity to immerse ourselves in Connemeara life.

Perfect holiday

The best thing that happened to us on 2020... Everything perfect... The view from sitting room is brilliant. I broke my foot on first day but I couldn't back home, prefer enjoy my 3 days in a perfect place... Thanks so much... We really enjoy. Lovely beach near. The kids enjoyed lots. Next year 100% we will be there again.

This is our second time enjoying this fabulous property... The weather wasn't very good first 2 days but with the view we don't need much... On 3° day we enjoyed the beach. Tks so much John for everything. Was very important to us spending a good time with the best view ever. See u next year. 😉

Fabulous getaway with everything we needed

Forget driving around to get "views." If you stay here, you can do what you want to do and then come home for the best views while simply relaxing! It was AMAZING and a tremendous blessing to wake up each morning to a panorama unrivaled by anything else we encountered during our travels. With the long days in late May, we were able to hike, plus just sit and gaze at the view or read. It never rained while we were there, but if it had, we would have been happy to amuse ourselves with the great assortment of books and board games. The photos are representative of the current state of the property. John obviously loves sharing his home and his love for the area; communication was very easy and access to the house on arrival was flawless. A+ for hospitality! The house is conveniently located for everything we needed or wanted. It was great to have a separate washer and dryer and a coffee maker (yay)! Data signal is great if you have to connect, but you'll never regret using the opportunity to connect with your family instead. It is a 5 minute drive to Kings cafe if you need wifi - great soup, sandwiches and especially the cake! Really good food at Paddy Coynes in Tully Cross.

loved connmara and this location.

john was so responsive immediately and it was a great find as we only were able to rent for 5 nights in high season. mary, the caretaker, was so kind since we could not find the house after a long 6 hour drive from dingle. she met us and helped us find it and get settled in. when we asked her to call us a cab for dinner, she got us one for return only and she offered to drive us herself! she came by one night and set up a peat fire which was lovely. john made sure we even had blowdryers, as i requested. the views are spectacular and we loved waking up the the bleating of the sheep. beds are comfy too. i loved walking up and down the road. we visited killer sheep farm and did the killary fjord boat tour, Ashley falls walk, hired john hannon of Connemara day tours for a great 5 hour tour of clifden, sky road, omey beach and so much more, kylemore abbey and the gardens, diamond head at cnp, and the various beaches. we loved this part of Ireland. folks so kind and really good food too. thanks so much john. it was a pleasure staying in your well loved house filled with so many great family photographs and memories. we also did not miss wifi (kids did!) but it resulted in a lot more game playing and laughs.

Incroyable séjour aux portes des merveilles du connemara

C'est le cottage rêvé pour s'imprégner des paysages irlandais: une vue incroyable sur l'océan, à deux pas du parc national du connemara, de ses lacs, de ses collines, abbayes, des petites îles irlandaises et de pubs très sympa à tullycross et letterfrack. Le propriétaire John est à l'écoute et très réactif! Au besoin les voisins sont également à disposition. Nous avons passé un merveilleux séjour. Merci John!

Lovely relaxing break.

We had a lovely break here. The views were amazing , we loved watching the boats from the big windows . We spent everyday on the beach , it's a lovely area and lovely location.

Gemma: Lettergesh strand or beach is a marvel -- high tide is the rocky shore and low tide the beach is 400 m wide. Great for walking. You had heat like Miami! Our family so appreciates when guests report they just soaked in the views -- which can change hourly, creating the moving tapestry of North Connemara. John

Lovely views overlooking Lettergesh beach & looking out towards Clare Island & Inisturk. House is ideally located for exploring what Connemara has to offer. We'd definitely come back to stay again.

Amazing Stay

Great property. Stunning location. Short walk to beach. Also plenty of beaches to choose from within a short drive of property. We visited with family and were lucky enough to get some great weather while we were there. The views from the property itself are just fabulous. There is some nice little walks up behind the house and down towards the ocean as well. Our kids really enjoyed the whole adventure of it. So much to do in the area if you want to but also a great place to do nothing and just enjoy where you are. A real gem. Thank you!

Another fantastic stay in Connemara

We stayed in the property last year and due to its location couldn't wait to go back again this year. Once again the views were stunning and by far the best selling point. We were looked after and nothing was any bother. The area is quite simply outstanding and the most beautiful part of Ireland we have ever visited.

Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt und würden jederzeit wieder buchen.

Das Haus hat eine tolle Lage mit einer super Aussicht. Hilfreich wäre vielleicht noch eine genauere Beschreibung was im Haus vorhanden ist. Sodass man sich vorher darauf einstellen kann. Z.B. Geschirrspüler nicht vorhanden. Kein Wlan, TV, Radio.

Wunderbare Woche an der irischen Atlantikküste

Wir haben eine eindrucksvolle Woche in einem geräumigen und gemütlichem Ferienhaus mit perfektem Meerblick verbracht. Die Lage ist optimal für kürzere und weitere Ausflüge in die Umgebung. Das Fehlen von W-LAN und TV ist eine gute Voraussetzung zum Entschleunigen! Jederzeit wieder!

Eine fantastische Lage mit atemberaubender Aussicht. Ein gemütliches Haus mit viel Atmosphäre. Vor allem die Aussicht vom Wohnzimmer mit heimeligem Torffeuer lassen selbst die kalten und verregneten Tage zum Erlebnis werden. Absolute Empfehlung!

A little off the beaten track this house is a hidden gem. A spectacular view and a comfy environment. The owner makes sure that you feel at home. Thanks John!

Hannes: An apt description of "off the beaten track" --- but a piece of haven when you get there! One of our joys is sharing Carnmore with guests from Germany, Spain, France, Netherlands, UK, and America. We even had our first Finnish family last year, so people do make the trek! Carnmore is a family home built by my father and from whom I bought the home. We live in the Washington DC area, but also hold Irish citizenship. Work takes me to Europe 5-6 times per year, so stops at Carnmore are often and refreshing. We are blessed that our children love the experience of other cultures, with a son now working in China, two daughters who have studied and worked in France, and a third daughter who took courses in Ireland.

Complete get away. By design, we do not have a television, radio, telephone or even a clock in the home. The thousands of books and stunning views are enough to keep guests enjoying Carnmore. Why go to an Irish holiday home to worry about the time!?!
