Incredible location for 4 golfers at Bandon Dunes. Great place to stay, a few very minor things that need attention but did not detract from the stay.

Great place for golf

Location, location, location. The property is about as close as you can get to Bandon Golf without staying at the resort. Place was great!

Perfect location for golfing at Bandon

The home is wonderful and an easy commute to the golf courses at Bandon Dunes. We had a wonderful stay and hope to return soon.

Great quite location to Bandon

Nice and spacious property near Bandon Dunes and the town Bandon. Property is off the beaten path and has a private manual gate entrance to road. Nice size 4 bedroom property with three bathrooms and lots of space to hang out after a fun day of golf or adventuring. Best to make sure you get there the first time during the daylight as entrance and dirt road are very dark.

Awesome custom home

Found this home on VRBO just a few weeks before I needed to be in Oregon for a family wedding. Communication was great from owner. The home was beautiful. They had a photo album from the build of the home (which has been in Better Homes And Gardens. After looking through the photo album, and reading the newspaper articles about the house, did we realize that the owners of this home are from our area in California, and that my adult children know members of their family. - SMALL WORLD!

Superb offsite lodging for Bandon golfers!!!

House was great for our foursome. Even better than the pictures online. Awesome location, close to everything. Very spacious, great common areas with TVs up and downstairs. Nice kitchen. Good instructions. Had a little confusion with locked driveway gate, cleared up with one phone call. Would definitely stay there again! Wish I owned it!

The location to Bandon Dines is great. House was clean but very dated. Shower and tub controls don’t work properly and can’t control hot and cold water. Kitchen sink faucet leaks.

The property was very difficult to find, and in a rather dark and scary spot. In the principal bedroom, the sheets had faint bloodstains on them, which is rather scary.

Weekend wedding at Bandon Dunes

Our daughter got married at Cape. Blanco and had her reception at Bandon Dunes Trails End. My husband and I needed a place to stay that would accommodate ourselves, my in-laws, and my mother. The pictures on VRBO did not give this place justice. It was absolutely beautiful with plenty of space for everyone. Unfortunately, we did lose Wi-if on the second day of our stay and did not have cell phone reception or the ability to watch TV which was a bummer since we couldn’t watch the 49er game on Sunday on that big screen tv downstairs! The management was not able to have anyone come out to fix it during our stay but they were in contact with us. It would be great to have an additional comfy chair in the main floor , but we made the chairs at the kitchen table work. Aside from that, it was a wonderful stay and we would love to stay there again!

If you are going to Bandon Dunes for golf this is the place for you. Beautiful property and so close to all the golf and restaurants. We would love to go again. One note, the house is in the middle of the forest and the cleaning service did not do a good job cleaning the house top to bottom. The owner said the were working on it and I believe him. Stay here!

Location, Location, Location

For those playing golf at Bandon it would be hard to find a more convenient off-premises home. It is literally no more than 10 minutes from any of the Bandon properties so guests have easy access for practice, golf, dining and shopping. The beds have been updated and are comfortable. When we arrived at the home, the refrigerator still held all the food, beer and vodka from the previous guests; food provisions had clearly accumulated guest group by guest group. Yuck! The garbage had not been taken out and the kitchen smelled. Double Yuck!! So we set about cleaning the kitchen for our use before we unpacked any of our stuff. We did not throw out food items in the fridge that likely were used by the owners. The master bathroom had all the owners toiletries on the counter, around the bath and in the shower. Yuck! Nothing was available for guest use. This echos an earlier guest's writings. Finally, the furnishings of the house need a make-over if it is going to warrant premium pricing. Everything is old, outdated and, because of the coastal location, a little smelly...except the beds. The home is architecturally interesting but a bit weird that the ceiling of master bathroom opens into the living and dining areas of the house. So if your only consideration is proximity to Bandon...this property is first class.

Bandon Dunes Golf Trip

The property is perfect for a golf trip at Bandon Dunes. It’s a two minute drive to Sheep Ranch or Old Mac and less than 10 minutes to everything else. Apple GPS in my case didn’t navigate me to the driveway but I’d looked at the map prior and noticed I needed to travel another 200 yards on Whiskey Run to access the driveway. Go slow, or you could miss it. The home is well appointed. Plenty of condiments and leftover beverages make the visit convenient. We ate all meals at the resort, but one could just as easily cook meals in-house. There are 2 large bedrooms and bathrooms upstairs. The master has a large bath with shower and jacuzzi tub. Perfect for a 1-person post golf soak. The downstairs has 2 decently sized bedrooms, 1 queen room, and one bunk room (4 beds.) Another bathroom downstairs. There is also a large common area with couches and tv’s downstairs. The deck that wraps around 70% of this yurt shaped home is great. Picnic seating with a charcoal grill. While there aren’t ocean views, you very much get the sense you’re near the ocean, and the foliage is that of a lush jungle environment. Only suggestion I can mention is that the downstairs could use a dehumidifier to address the lack of light and airflow. I’d highly recommend this home for large groups. We’ll definitely try to book again next year.

Perfect Bandon Dunes Escape

This secluded, peaceful property is located near the ocean and less than 1/2 mile away from the entrance to Bandon Dunes. A perfect setting and perfect location when visiting Bandon Dunes.
