Récemment restauré dans toute sa splendeur 1920, cette libre permanent de la Chambre de chariot (unité de abaisseur) peut accueillir quatre. Facile à pied de Balboa Park et meilleurs restaurants de San Diego. Situé dans 'Park West »entre le centre ville et Hillcrest. Que les photos montrent, aucun frais épargnés!
L'unité transport Maison- Basse, composé de deux chambres séparées et équitables salle de bains privative, combine le meilleur des deux mondes-emplacement et des équipements. Sa cour paisible crée une oasis de calme dans le centre de la plus branchée quartier de San Diego, à proximité de Balboa Park. L'unité Carriage House- Lower propose des chambres et des commodités de vie tout au long de superbes. Par respect pour nos voisins, l'espace est jamais loué pour les parties. 2 nuits minimum le week-end.

We loved it! The property was clean, quiet, and spacious (including the outdoor patio). Lovely location in Banker’s Hill, with the 3, 11, and 120 bus routes (running uptown towards Hillcrest or downtown towards the Gaslamp Quarter) just a block or two away. The hosts were very attentive. We’ll be back!

Charming, cozy, and just like the photos—this downstairs cottage was clean, comfortable, and warmly inviting. The layout is efficient, with a well-equipped kitchen, large dining table, and an incredibly comfortable living area perfect for relaxing, especially with the lush courtyard doors open. The host was responsive and helpful. A few suggestions: the beds could be more comfortable, kitchen utensils feel pieced together over time, and small amenities like tissues, lotion, and extra supplies were a bit limited. Footsteps from the upstairs rental are occasionally audible, and nearby construction made parking tricky, but the charm of the space made up for it. We truly enjoyed our stay and would absolutely return—just a few small upgrades would take this lovely rental to the next level.

Dining and walking extravaganza

This place is adorable. We enjoyed the courtyard and comfy indoor area. Dining in the local area was fabulous and all in walking distance. Balboa park was closer than i thought. Walked 20 miles in 2 days. We will be back. Hosts were accommodating and communication was exceptional.

The Carriage House was an incredible stay. We were there for 7 nights and felt like we were coming home every time we returned. Hard to find a nicer place in San Diego. We loved our stay here. The location is wonderful within an easy walk to Balboa Park and a longer walk to downtown. Quit neighborhood with easy parking. The double suites were perfect for my friend and I. I highly recommend it.

March 2024 Stay

The carriage house has been built at the back of a residential property. The property is located in a nice neighbourhood that is densifying with add-on suites and small professional offices. It is very centrally located but you do need a vehicle. We always found on-street parking available within a block or two. It takes a little while to learn about the area but there are good coffee shops and restaurants nearby as well as a Whole Foods grocery store. The carriage house itself is very well constructed and beautifully decorated. There is also a suite upstairs but we weren’t bothered by any noise. The beds were not firm and perhaps should be replaced. The kitchen was extremely well-equipped. Overall I highly recommend the property.

Great property

Overall we enjoyed our stay here. We had a few minor issues like a smoke detector that kept going off when no smoke was present and finding a parking space on the street near the unit, but the property was well maintained and very close to Balboa Park. There were some great restaurants within walking distance. Communication with the host was great, with quick responses when we had questions.

Place exactly as advertised

Very nice place. Great owner and conceirge staff. The pictures are exactly what you get with the unit. Great location - central to everything. The reviews here are very accurate. The only small issues I had were the place was alittle musty smelling on check in/had flies (likely just from opening the big doors to clean from the previous stay), the amenities (like dishwashing soap and garbage bags were a bit minimal), and you had to go outside to access the laundry machine. Not major issues. I would stay here again, and I really appreciated the owner as I had my VRBO unit cancelled 24 hours before our trip, and they took care of us to accomodate us on such short notice. A great, fair priced place in a great location in San Diego. Awesome food locations so close by. Highly recommended.

Sister Get Away

The check-in check-out experience was very accommodating. Wonderful location with easy access to so many things. There is an upstairs apartment and you can hear them,, but over all a great place!
