Family Friendly Country Lodge à 15 minutes du parc national des Lacs-Waterton

Rocky Ridge Country Lodge (15 minutes à l'est du parc national des Lacs-Waterton), est niché dans la petite communauté de l'élevage de Mountain View. Situé à deux blocs de pays du Nord de l'autoroute 5 sur quatre acres; avec beaucoup d'espace pour les activités extérieures telles que le boulingrin, pétanque, fers à cheval, volley-ball, etc.
Rocky Ridge est idéal pour les petites réunions de famille, des retraites, des groupes de randonnée, et autres.

Une réservation complète au lodge coûte 675 $ par nuit, taxes en sus (9%). Minimum séjour de 2 nuits. Si les chambres supplémentaires sont nécessaires, nous avons un chalet de 3 chambres / 1 salle de bain avec cuisine complète et un salon disponibles à la location. (6 personnes)
Le Lodge dispose de 6 chambres, 5 salles de bains, table de billard, tennis de table, 6 personnes bain à remous, Pay per use linge, TV satellite et lecteur DVD dans le salon, WiFi, un foyer, un barbecue sur la grande terrasse avec table et chaises, et balançoire avec toboggan.
Draps et serviettes sont fournis ainsi que des sacs à ordures, papier toilette et du savon.

Nous savons que vous pourrez profiter de notre gîte rural avec ses belles vues sur la montagne et un cadre paisible. Il deviendra votre maison loin de la maison.

Amazing Visit!

We thoroughly enjoyed our visit in Waterton at Josh’s place. The kitchen was updated and the 6 bedrooms were perfect for our family and all of us had a place to sleep. It’s very spacious and enough amenities to keep us all busy! We had all of our family come together to spend quality time and make beautiful memories!

Family Friendly Country Lodge in Mountain View Alberta

We had a wonderful family vacation at this lodge. There was plenty of room for all of us and lots to do near this quiet retreat. We hiked visited a spray park and had great food in nearby Waterton Park. We played yard games hot tubbed and roasted marshmallows in the beautifully landscaped yard and property deck. We swam and played at nearby Payne lake and even took in a great play at The Carraige House Theatre in nearby Cardston. We all agreed best family vacation ever and we will be back...

Rocky Ridge Country Lodge was perfect for our family

This was the first time in eight years that my wife and I, and our three kids and their families (18 of us), were able to be together in one place for a week. It was a the perfect place for us. The multiple bedrooms, bathrooms and large well equipped kitchen with the huge dining area worked great for us. Everyone loved the pool table, fire pit, hot tub and the living room with the large tv. The location was excellent too, we did multiple day trips, hit beaches, golf courses, shopping and of course, Waterton Park. Our little ones loved the swing set too. It was a wonderful holiday. Thanks Josh and Kim.

Great for multiple families!

We had 8 adults and 9 kids, 4 families. Everyone had lots of space, the kids loved the pool table/ping pong table, the playground and huge yard. We all enjoyed the hot tub. The view from the deck was beautiful, watched the sunset every evening, the horse next door was friendly and liked having his picture taken. Short drive to Waterton Lakes National Park, the town of Waterton, and other sites in the area. Kitchen was well equipped, lots of room for everyone in dining room. It was above 30 degrees Celsius when we were there, and the bedrooms upstairs were hot.

This place is amazing!!!!!! This huge house was perfect for our extended family. It was big enough for everyone to feel like they had their own space but also had common areas where we could be all together. 6 bedrooms were all upstairs. Three of them has their own en-suite and three shared a large bathroom. The yard was a dream. Grass had been freshly cut and flowers blooming everywhere. Tons of room for kids to play. House had everything we could have possibly needed: all kitchen items, coffee/tea, BBQ supplies, cleaning supplies, extra cots, extra towels and blankets. We would not hesitate to book this place again. Thank you to the wonderful owners who helped make this a great stay. This house was worth the drive time (20 minutes) to get into the townsite of Waterton instead of staying right in the park. Don’t let that be a deterrent!!!

Overall a great house but would benefit from a few adjustments.

Pros: Lots of bedrooms and bathrooms and common areas. You can certainly have your own private space when you need it. Extensive grounds for kids and adults to play on which are very well maintained. Ample parking. Beautiful setting close to Waterton. The kitchen is very well stocked and cooking for large groups was easy. Lots of seating in the dining area and outside on the deck. There is a playground and store within walking distance. Cons: There is no dishwasher. With a large group like ours (17) that was unfortunate as we were constantly doing dishes. There doesn't seem to be a "No Vacancy" sign anywhere so despite having rented the place, there were 3 occasions when guests approached the house while we were there. Lastly, there are nick-nacks everywhere, which is part of the rustic charm, but they are also dusty and despite the house being generally clean, there was still a fair amount of dust and 2 in our group suffered from allergic reactions. There is only A/C in half of the bedrooms. With a few minor adjustments, this place would be fantastic.

Beautiful Vacation Spot

Our city kids loved the huge yard for playing, and the house was so spacious for our family of 16. We were sad that we weren't able to stay longer. The proximity to Waterton was wonderful. We needed more time for exploring. Another year hopefully!

AMAZING space

When we showed up we were shocked how amazing this space was. It was way larger than we thought and FULLY stocked!! Crock pots, skillets, playpens, high chairs, basic spices, lap blankets, games, books... the list goes on. The beds and sheets were the best we've ever slept in. The space was so large and perfect for all our kids to run around. We loved the kitchen setup for our group. A serving area, fully stocked kitchen, lots of tables. The owner was great for helping out with any questions we had. We HIGHLY recommend this property!!

Beautiful property in a beautiful location

Spent the Canadian Thanksgiving weekend with family. 9 adults & 7 children from 4 to 12 years old. Plenty of space, beds and baths for all the families. Josh the owner was very helpful in updating us on what to expect once we got there. Plenty of everything you need to feed families like ours. And everything in excellent working condition. Ping pong / pool table, large deck for outdoor activities, hot tub, etc. And not to mention only a few minutes from Watertown National Park. I would not hesitate to book for another family or friends getaway.

Excellent retreat

Our hiking group goes away each year to experience hiking away from Banff/Kananaskis region. We found this home to be clean, quiet, well equipped and very comfortable. The grounds are well kept with lush greenery and abundant flowers-hard to do in this hot dry summer. The host was friendly and provided good customer service. I would refer this property to friends looking for a perfect getaway just outside of WatertonNational Park.

Amazing getaway home!

We stayed in this house for a week, with 10 adults and 5 kids (age 12,3,2,1,baby) There was fun had by all. The pool/ping pong table and hot tub were a huge hit. The house had everything you could need. There was so many details for the country home feel! The location was easy to find and reasonably close to tourist places (waterton, frankslide, lundbreck falls.) the yard had lots of space to play sports and we even built a 10ft snow man. The owners were very friendly, easy to deal with and respectful of our space and privacy. I highly recommend this property and would consider staying here again.

Wonderful Property

We had a group of 19 adults stay three nights at this cabin, and it perfectly suited our needs! All of our concerns beforehand, with such are a large group, were easily dealt with by how well set-up the property is: there was a large and well set-up kitchen, a huge amount of space for eating, tons of room for socializing without feeling cramped, and all the sleeping areas (on the upper floor) were in a great location so that people could easily sleep without being disturbed. The cabin is located close to Waterton National Park and the US border, which allowed for an assortment of day trips of all sorts, and is reasonably close to a grocery store if needed. Would definitely recommend this cabin for groups of 15-20, and we look forward to hopefully coming back in the future!

Winning Accommodations for a Family Weekend Get-together

We met for a long weekend together, (family of 9 adults and 7 kids, 13 and under)...a rainy May weekend, but in spite of being indoors, the spaciousness of Rocky Ridge kept us from feeling cooped up. The kids loved all the nooks and places to get away and play. We enjoyed the hot tub, the cozy fire in the fireplace, and the pool table/ping pong table. The kitchen had everything we needed and the beds and bedding were comfortable. In between rain showers we were able to drive to Waterton and hike Bears' Hump. We even saw a black bear! It was such a good weekend that everyone was enthusiastic to meet here again next year! Thanks Josh!

Great Property

We stayed at the property for 4 days and 3 nights. 7 adults and 7 kids under the age of 8. Everyone thoroughly enjoyed the house and the surrounding property. We found the location to be a quick and easy drive into Waterton where we spent time each day. The property was fully outfitted with everything we could possibly need. The owners were extremely accommodating and very easy to deal with. We will certainly be back for another visit next year.

Waterton rumble

Yes we stayed at the lodge for 3 nights with our families 9 adults and 5 children from ages 18 months old to 9 year old . The accommodation was excellent . We loved the sound proof rooms when the children were in bed the adults could play games and not have to worry about the noise level. The kitchen was well equipt loved the new dishwasher. The rooms and beds were comfortable loved the easy excess to the bathrooms . The rec room was fun for all ages . The outdoors /yard was spaceious loved the horse Pip that was a big highlight for the kids . The owner Josh was kind and wanting to make sure that our stay was a delight . Thank you josh . I would strongly recommend staying at rocky ridge mountain view .

I would recommend this accomodation for any group of family or friends looking to get away together with lots of space to enjoy and spread out! Spacious, very clean & owners were fantastic! There were 9 of us there for our annual Family Day getaway and it was perfect, from hot tub to pool table.
