Chaleureusement aménagée et pittoresque maison de style grange située directement sur l'étang de Rust. «La Grange» comprend une (1) chambre principale avec un lit king-size; une (1) chambre avec lit Queen et une (1) chambre avec deux lits jumeaux pouvant accueillir confortablement six (6) personnes. Deux matelas gonflables de taille double (inclus), peuvent également être utilisés dans la zone de loft pour accueillir deux (2) personnes de plus relativement confortablement.

The dock is ours and can be used by renters, but the floating raft is not owned by us, so please do not use.
Please be sure to open the damper in the flue when using the fireplace in the Living Room. Never leave a fire or warm embers unattended.
There is some firewood at the house, but please replenish what you use from our personal stockpile. Many nearby stores sell bundles of firewood.

Fantastic location and property! Owner quickly responded when needed. Everything needed for a fun and relaxing vacation on a clear pond with lake Winnipesaukee nearby. Just a short drive to Wolfeboro center for shopping and good eats. Plenty of fun attractions nearby as well.

Rust Pond summer vacation

Rust Pond is a perfect location. The town of Wolfeboro has everything, the pond itself is clean and quiet with no public access. It's only about an hour from the ocean, and there is so much to do in and around Lake Winnipesaukee.

Rust Pond Barn

This is a beautiful private location yet close to all the attractions Wolfeboro has to offer.. The family loved the "barn" and Rust Pond. We hope to return soon.

Wonderful stay at a beautiful place

The Barn is absolutely lovely. I visited Rust Pond as a kid, and this was a wonderful return to a beautiful place. The Barn lives up to its description - well appointed kitchen, spacious, cheerful and peaceful. We very much enjoyed listening to the loons on the lake, fishing, and watching the sunrise. Christopher was super helpful, answering questions before and during our stay. A great host ad check in was smooth and easy. Will definitely stay again next time we find ourselves in New Hampshire!

Wonderful stay in Wolfeboro on Rust Pond

We a wonderful time on Rust Pond in Wolfeboro. This house was incredibly unique, and extremely comfortable. We thoroughly enjoyed looking around at all the interesting house features and spent hours in the water on the floats and kayaks. Owner was very responsive to any questions we had.

Perfect Christmas Getaway

During this pandemic Christmas, couldn't have asked for a better place to spend the holiday. The space is beautifully renovated, a truly unique property. Would very much look forward to returning with friends and family in the future (and in the summertime).

Family Vacation

The Barn was a perfect place to stay. The place was even more than the description. Plenty of room, an amazing Coca Cola machine, lots of games, and water was great! Many days we were the only ones out in the water. Highly recommend the place.

Fantastic Location

Had an amazing time at this barn. The location was great, where you can just walk 20 yards out the front door and have access to a beautiful body of water. My family and I were skeptical of the name of "Rust Pond", but the water is clear, clean, and beautiful. One of the best vacations, I have been on.

Wonderful Stay, Highly Recommend

We stayed here for a week with our two children. Rust Pond is gorgeous and right outside the house. Wolfeboro is a short drive down the road. Plenty to do for kids and adults. House had everything and is just as advertised. Don't hesitate to book.

Perfect Lake House for a visit to Wolfeboro!

My family and I could not have had a better visit to The Barn. The home is the perfect setting for a Lake Vacation and certainly has everything you need for a relaxing and enjoyable time. Wonderful location

We loved our week at The Barn. The location can't be beat. It was wonderful to be right on Rust Pond (which despite the name is really a lake) and to seemingly have it to ourselves on many days and convenient to be so close to town. The house's design is interesting and the kitchen is terrific, but sound does carry through the open architecture so make sure your group all keeps the same hours.

Perfect property

Everything was great and as advertised, highly recommend it. Just be aware, the beds don’t come made and with sheets which for those that are traveling from far it may not be ideal. Host was amazing and responsive and location can’t be beat.

I'm sorry for any confusion with the sheets, but it is noted in the description that we provide pillows, blankets and towels, but require guests to bring their own bedsheets ... it's actually a pretty common practice for house rentals in the Lakes Region. As I've discovered, while there are a few places in the area that will clean linens and then make all the beds, the cost is very expensive, so I try to keep the costs down for renters where I can. COVID has also added another dimension over the past eighteen months where many people would prefer to bring their own sheets. Wonderful Property

The Barn is a truly special property. My friends and I had a great weekend enjoying the surrounding area, as well as the Barn itself with all that it had to offer. Between going out on the pond, playing croquet in the yard, or the many late night games of shuffleboard on the second floor, there was always something to do and enjoy during our stay.

Wonderful location

The barn did not disappoint us. Superb accommodation, excellent facilities, & the most amazing setting. To wake up to that view every morning must be fantastic. A couple of minutes drive to Wolfboro & just under an hour to North Conway & the Kank. I'd have no hesitation in recommending the Barn.

Our week at The Barn was outstanding! We lucked out with beatiful weather which let us really get the most out of Rust Pond and all that The Barn had to offer. We kayaked, fished, swam, and floated. The house exceeded our expectaions and accommodated our family perfectly as we cooked some delicious meals inside and out on the grill, played games, read and simply enjoyed some quality family time with a peaceful and gorgeous view.

Christmas week 2020

This property is very well depicted in the VRBO - pictures and writeup. Centrally located to the town of Wolfboro and highway this property is great for being away but not too far away from civilization. The view of Rust Pond was beautiful! My family had a great time - hope to come again! The owners were great to work with for any questions, etc.

Another Great Year at The Barn

Being our second year staying at The Barn we knew what to expect from the home and surroundings and it certainly lived up to our expectations and more! The home is such a cozy well appointed home with a rustic feel. You can’t beat the location right on Rust Pond close to Wolfeboro and all that great town has to offer. Not only would I recommend but hoping to come back for a 3rd year.

The Barn

Home was beautiful and the lake peaceful. Enjoyed our long fall weekend getaway. Beds were comfortable but very noisy when moving around or getting out. I missed the info on bringing your own bedding, not a fan of that feature. Overall a great vacay.

Hi Tracey ... thank you for taking the time to write a nice review of your recent stay at The Barn. I'm glad you enjoyed your Fall getaway. I'm sorry for any confusion with the sheets, but as I've discovered, while there are a few places in the area that clean linens and then make all the beds, the cost is very expensive, so I try to keep the costs down for renters where I can. COVID has also added another dimension where many people would prefer to bring their own sheets. Nevertheless, I understand your comment and sincerely appreciate the feedback. I'll also look into the noisy beds ... I think it might be partly due to the mattress covers we use. Thanks again for staying with us! All the best! ~ The Twomey Family
