The room was very spacious and the balcony was huge. The beach had many green sea turtles swimming around that you could see from land or easily snorkel with. Duke’s restaurant on property was a nice bonus as well. If you want a variety of options there is a food truck park right next door.

Great spring break

The property was clean and an awesome location in the honua kai resort. The kids really enjoyed the pool as well as the very easy access to the beach and ocean. Whale watching from the deck was fantastic! Would very much recommend this property.

We love the Honua Kai and have stayed there many times previously. The units are very similar with some more updated than others. This condo is in a great location, easy access to elevator, great views and good morning sun with afternoon shade on the patio. The furniture and inside decorations are updated and beds are comfortable. Each bedroom has it's own TV, kitchen is well stocked but could use updated pans and more serving bowls. This is a nice unit, we enjoyed our stay.

Beautiful resort/unit in Kaanapali

Lovely condo with gorgeous ocean views. Easy access to the resort, parking, and condo. The unit provided beach chairs, boogie boards, and the condo provided towels by the pool. We loved sitting on the balcony people watching while the sun set. There is a food truck park right outside the resort that was easy to walk to and grab lunch/dinner. I would highly recommend staying here.

Maui Westside delivers!

This was an amazing trip at a phenomenal property. We came here for my daughter’s 3rd birthday and it did not disappoint. She loved the pool areas. Staff were incredibly nice and helpful. Maui Westside Properties are incredible. They were so hospitable and checked in throughout the process and our trip to ensure our accommodations were met our every needs. Their texting concierge service was easy to use and made check in and out so simple. We will definitely be booking with them and at Honua Kai Resort for future Maui trips. Mahalo for everything!

30th Anniversary Trip

This was our first trip to the beautiful Maui Island/Hawaii. The condo was perfect for two couples because both bedrooms are master bedrooms. The living area is a large area but you will spend plenty of time on the lanai which has a beautiful view of the resort and ocean. The central ac was a big factor and came in handy cooling down the unit. The location is centrally located in Kaanapali making it easy to get around. The beach in front of the resort was a little rocky but there was plenty of beach that wasn’t so we spent several days chilling on the beach and snorkeling in front of the resort. The owner kindly supplied beach toys and chairs. The resort is clean and the staff are friendly and helpful. The only issue is that parking spaces in the building parking garage are hard to come by so I got extra steps in those days.

Beautiful property for family vacation

The entire property was beautiful. The condo was as advertised and equipped with beach chairs, plenty of pool towels available throughout the pool area, nice walking path along the beach and casual ocean front on-site restaurant. Teens loved it. Food truck picnic area and grocery stores in walking distance just off property and short drive to Lahaina, which we loved. Would definitely recommend to friends.

Beautiful spacious condo at a great resort! Kitchen nicely outfitted with needed cooking utensils, detergent, paper towel, laundry detergent etc. , bedrooms/bathrooms are spacious, 4 chairs/2 boogie boards, soft cooler and ice packs too! great pools, beach , community grills and wonderful dining at Dukes, would rent exact condo in a heartbeat!

Wonderful Stay!

We had planned to stay here as a family of 4, but my brother and sister-in-law joined us last minute. The owners were super accommodating to add them in and even allowed us a late check-out to accommodate the kids’ nap schedule too. The view off the balcony was amazing, and within 5 minutes of stepping out on it, we saw whales! February is a great time to come if you want to see whales. Spacious 2 bedroom and 2 bath, and everything we needed in the kitchen as well. The kids had a great time at the pools, and water slide was very fun! Multiple hot tubs and pools, and right on the beach. Great place to stay!

We stayed here with our two sons (age 15 & age 13) and it was very spacious and comfortable for our family of four. The laundry was convenient in house, but the dryer was a bit slow in working, so we hung some of our clothes to finish drying. It was so convenient to have the 2 beach chairs and totes and masks available for use. The pools and beach were in great condition, though the beach was more useful if you walked down the way when the tide came in. Snorkeling right in front of the resort was wonderful. Duke's was a great onsite restaurant. It is only about 10 minutes or so to Lahaina, so it was convenient. We would absolutely stay here again! Thank you!

This was our third time staying at the Honua Kai, and just like the prior vacations, this unit was a great place for us. We really enjoyed the lanai as well as the two bedrooms, which worked great for our family of 4. The photos in the listing are just as advertised. Great view of the resort and beach from the lanai. Check-in was very easy and the assistance from the bell services was great. Many items needed for a great vacation were provided (4 beach chairs, 3 boogie boards, some water toys). A beach umbrella and a small cooler (not the cooler bags) would be a nice addition in the future. As others have indicated in previous reviews, the dryer works, but can take a long time to get clothes/towels completely dry. Loved having access to the HOA beach towel dispensers located throughout the resort. The location of the resort is fantastic for our family, as we love to snorkel and boogie board and play in the water; there are some great beaches located right on site and also others very close by for these activities. The pools are also a favorite hang out of our family. One bummer was that the pools were closed a couple of times during our vacation for 6-8 hours due to "emergencies". One bummer was that the resort wide alarm system went off 3 times during our stay (once late at night). This can cause a little anxiety at times as the resort was not always clear in explaining what was happening and if we needed to evacuate. We were able to take advantage of the BBQ's onsite for 6 nights, and then also visit some great restaurants in the area including Dukes, Fleetwoods, Lelani's, Hula Grill and Monkeypod. Thanks to Maui Westside Properties for a great trip, and we look forward to a return visit in the future.
