Awesome Family Cabin

Lots of room for family gathering. Everything you need. Great kitchen, well stocked for those who love to cook. Beds were comfortable. Location was perfect !!! Walk to restaurants and beaches, library, indoor city pool, and parks. Owner quick to respond and went out and bought AC’s for us during the unusual heatwave. Quiet old neighborhood with no through traffic. Keep it slow Tahoe ! 🚗

Great house, great location, highly recommend !

I was there with my besties for our annual girls weekend. We loved the place. Everything was perfect! The rooms were great, the kitchen perfect (well stocked) and the location central to everything. We hope to stay their again next year!

Great stay

The host were very good getting back to us, she said we were the first guest from the east coast, of course we didn't know if we were going to be able to stay because of the evacuation. Luckily it all worked out. More then enough room for the six of us, would stay there again if we visit lake Tahoe in the future

Summer: Walk to the beach or short drive to trailheads

The house was perfect for our family - my wife and I + adult children and their spouses. House was quaint / old South Lake Tahoe - endearing to all of us with pine walls, etc. We were out and about during the day and found the living room area / dining /kitchen areas great for gathering before going to bed. Walked to the beach where you can rent paddle boards. Drove to trailhead up to Eagle Lake - Beautiful. Looking forward to returning for skiing in a winter or two!

Family Mini-Vacation

We loved this place! It’s in a quiet neighborhood and is a cute and cozy cabin. The owner had excellent communication about our stay. The beds were really comfortable. The living room was perfect for us to hang out when we were relaxing after a fun day at the beach. At first we were worried about the heat upstairs without having an AC. However, it cools down really well at night. We opened the windows and each room has a fan as well which helped cool the rooms down. We will definitely be back!

Good location, Quiet, Friendly Neighborhood

The property was a nice location. The rules were clear. Communication with the owners was good. The house does need air conditioning but it was made clear it didn't have it. There were fans in every room, however which helped. There was one portable swamp cooler. The upstairs gets really hot but it was also the middle of summer. Thank you for an accurate stay.

Great location !

Fantastic location can walk to a beach and store. Older house, has some quirks - upstairs level is small - upstairs bathroom super tiny but the bedrooms are nice. Neighborhood had bears during our stay — must follow all bear precautions!

A wonderful little cabin in a perfect location

My family and I had a wonderful time. I would give it 5 stars, except that it was ridiculously hot in Tahoe (over 100) and the cabin has no air conditioning.

Great place and location

Another great trip to Tahoe. The house was as advertised and had great room for my wife and I, her parents and my five year old daughter. Jocelyn always kept me posted on any small things including how to get a small swamp cooler that really helped the sleeping conditions. She also was very helpful and went out her way to assist me with a bank issue. Highly recommend this place!

Awesome location + Great communication = Perfect stay!

We couldn’t have asked for a better rental experience. The property was in our ideal location from what we were there for. The neighborhood alone was fun and offered a taste of living in the area. Which always adds to the vacation. The house offered everything we were looking for. The property was clean and we felt “at home”. The communication with the owners was top notch, upon securing the reservation. Everything was fully explained and outlined. Thus providing us an enjoyable experience staying at their rental property. Even during our trip- the owner reached out to offer some suggestions on handling the unusual weather Lake Tahoe was experiencing during our trip. In addition, the owner followed up after our stay. Thanking us. Overall a very pleasant and positive experience staying at this rental property. Truly enjoyed all aspects of the experience renting through VRBO and this location in particular.

Great Stay

This one is a winner. A great traditional Tahoe cabin with all the amenities. Comfortable beds for all, well equipped kitchen, all in a great location. The ground floor bed and bath made it easy to bring my 94 year old mom who has mobility issues. Jocelyn was great to deal with during the rental process. Many thanks for a great stay.

Lovely and cozy

Loved staying here with my friends! Extremely comfortable beds, lots of DVDs, handy kitchen supplies handy, and was overall just a fantastic getaway. Super close to everything and the owners were quick to respond to texts. Will definitely stay here again :)

I especially like the location of this property which is walking distance to everything- grocery, food, beach area and even biking rentals which we did. We love that it has 4 rooms which gives privacy to 4 couples. Checking in and out is easy and easy to communicate to owner. Will keep this in mind for future when we come back.

Clean and Comfy

This place was very clean and comfy. My kids had a lego game to play with, books for adults, and a seat to use if you have a little baby. Extra supplies of everything was awesome. My family loved this place and will be coming back in the future.

Great property if have infants in family. Have portable playpen, high chair & oter items for infant, toddler use. Lots of space for family reunion. Well equip kitchen etc. very nice property. Good location in South Lake Tahoe.

We love the mountains and lake and realized we needed to get away from the city (Sacramento) and visit here more often. Owning a second home was never in our thoughts until a certain visit to the area. Once the idea came to light, there was no turning back.

We had looked at a number of houses in town, and as soon as we walked into this Tahoe Cabin we knew right away that this would be our 'home away from home'. The quiet neighborhood, the knotty pine interior, fireplace, large backyard, and being near so much that South Lake Tahoe has to offer are what we love so much.

Voici ce qui rend cet hébergement unique

The cabin is so close to everything here. It is an easy to walk around the neighborhood, to the lake, the recreation center, grocery store, etc. You can take a short drive to Stateline or to the many hiking trails. It is also a great place to just stay put and enjoy the solitude.
