Weldon Farm Cabin est un 3 chambres, 2 salles de bain –– 3 chambres avec lits queen –– maĂźtre avec salle de bain privĂ©e. La cabine dispose d'une cuisine entiĂšrement Ă©quipĂ©e avec Ăźlot et coin repas, pouvant accueillir 6 personnes. Le salon dispose d'une tĂ©lĂ©vision Ă  Ă©cran plat 48 '/ cĂąble, Internet haut dĂ©bit et accĂšs Wi-Fi. Juste devant la porte est une belle terrasse avec barbecue et table et chaises pour manger. My favorite home away from home

Our 4th or 5th stay at the Weldon farm. We love the peace and quiet and will always return here for family visits.

Its so homey and comfortable. Nice to relax, catch some fish, look at stars, and get kids outdoors

Great getaway!

Very relaxing, lots of room inside and out. Nice views with picnic tables scattered throughout. Traeger available. They even supplied a cookbook for it. I can't say enough good things. Definitely worth a repeat stay.

Family weekend

We stayed for the weekend. The house was beautiful. It was the perfect size for our family of 5. We enjoyed fishing, kayaking, and making smores at our fire. The property was so pretty. We are hoping to make it a yearly tradition.

Country Stay at it's best

We rented both houses for our group who was in the area for a wedding. It worked out great for us and we have no major complaints. We loved the space and would have loved even more time at the property. It was also hot and muggy so it was much more appealing to stay inside in the air conditioning. The owner was VERY accommodating and helpful!

Remote peaceful location in the heart of Iowa

This location was quiet and peaceful and had everything we needed. We also enjoyed some of the nearby restaurants and walking trails. There are two ponds, only one seemed suitable for using the kayaks, and it was plenty big! There was also covered seating areas to enjoy nature and a large fire pit. Google Maps took all of us to the wrong location but it was only a few miles off, do double check your final destination before leaving to assure your GPS will get you there. The home itself was clean and had adequate space for all of us. I loved that there were fans in each room, as well as extra pillows and bedding. Everything was great. Would stay again!

Spacious and comfortable

This was our second stay with Dan and, like the first, it was wonderful! He was very flexible with dates as we had to make some almost last minute changes which he was very accommodating with. The Eagels Nest was very clean with plenty of room for our party. Looking forward to our stay next spring already!

Another great stay

A little mix-up initially but got that straightened out quickly. It's a trek to get there but that's true country. Caught and released lots of fish. Saw plenty of deer and raccoon. Don't forget to look up at the millions of stars.

Nice off the beaten path home

The nature, including the two ponds, is fantastic. Home had everything we needed. We brought our boat and fished at little river lake most days. Only 15 minute drive. There is a lot of gravel roads. We were ok with that but important to know.

Great experience, well appointed place, rural and peaceful but a short ride to the nearest town and an hour from Des Moines. No hassle check in and out. I would fully recommend for a family break.

Another great stay at the Eagles Nest!

This time we rented both properties with our kids and grandkids and there was plenty to do for kids of all ages. The fishing was good as usual and they loved the kayaks and going to see the sheep each day. The property is always well maintained and fully set up so you can relax the minute you get there. After our 4th stay we will be back again.
