On Eagle's Wings est un chalet de montagne de 4 chambres à coucher étonnant et dynamique qui vous réunira, vous et vos proches, maintes et maintes fois. Les planchers de bois franc scintillants, les grands plafonds voûtés et les fenêtres du sol au plafond créent l'atmosphère parfaite pour se réunir avec la famille et les amis dans la grande salle majestueuse. Après une longue journée de plaisir sur les pistes, rentrez chez vous et installez-vous confortablement devant un feu de bois crépitant dans la grande cheminée en pierre. Avec 3 coins salons séparés, il y a plus que suffisamment d'espace pour que tout le monde se répartisse. Les amis peuvent passer leurs soirées à jouer à un jeu agréable de hockey sur air ou de ping-pong ou à regarder un film préféré sur l'un des nombreux téléviseurs. Le bain à remous extérieur fumant sera un grand confort pour tous à la fin de la journée.

The stay was generally fine. There were some issues which took away from the enjoyment. The hot water for showers was not good. It ran out more than once. The main problem is that the heat stopped working in the middle of the night on our last night. We woke up to a house at 58 degrees. It made our last morning with my kids and grandkids difficult. We could not have breakfast there and we left in a somewhat of a rush. Disappointing to say the least.

Great vacation property

This was a great house. It was up on the hill above the wisp resort and had an excellent view of the lake. There is plenty of room in this house and everything work out great

Multi generational family of eleven. Perfect for the whole group, youngest member is 11 months and the oldest member is 80. The view is stunning. Loved our stay.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at On Eagle's Wings. It was perfect for our intergenerational family vacation. The house was immaculate and well provisioned with lots of room for adults and kids alike. It's conveniently located near stores and all Deep Creek activities. It could not have been nicer. Thank you for your hospitality!

Hot tub was non functioning, was reported and not fixed, when I followed up they said that they wouldn’t be fixing it during our stay. They had to have known it wasn’t working if they checked it prior to our stay, which they should have. The Hot water heater in the house went out and ended up needing to be replaced due to leakage. The breaker had tripped and it tripped again a couple of hours later. Again, this was something that either wasn’t checked or was due to deferred maintenance. Several lightbulbs out throughout the house and kitchen Sink sprayer broken. The smaller issues would have been ignored if it weren’t for the larger issues causing disappointment (hot tub) and inconvenience / logistic issues of having no hot water all day and then no water at all during the repair while returning from skiing, needing to care for and prepare food for children. After stating that we were unhappy and expected some type of refund We were offered a very small partial refund that was presented as a generous exception to policies. We understand that we still had a warm safe place to stay and are reasonable about that but it was disappointing when we were looking forward to our trip so much. The house itself was as-advertised and would have been great for our family if things had been working as they should have been. The only additional thing that should be stated clearly is that the ski in ski out is off a black run. Not kid friendly ski out.

I’ll preface this by saying we enjoyed our stay. Like previous comments though, the house is in need of a deep cleaning, painting, renewing of finish on wood trim throughout and updating of furnishings. Mattresses also need updates. The “extra “ beds such as trundle beds all need new mattresses and very uncomfortable to sleep on. I disagree with one comment regarding “ski in”ski out “ as access to the slopes are a very short walk to this home. The area is beautiful with activity a short car ride away!

Amazing view

The view from this house is the best quality and the area is very nice, quiet and clean. The house is a short drive to the McHenry town area with restaurants, grocery, and other attractions.House has plenty of space for up to 14 guests. The biggest downside was the condition of the house. It needs a new coat of paint on the exterior. The kitchen was clean but is ready for a makeover. The lower deck furniture is rusted and the hot-tub was unusable, a portion was ripped by an animal and hive of wasps had made a home in the side of the rotted wood. House has four bathrooms, but only one roll of toilet paper when we arrived. So be prepared to either bring basic supplies or go to the grocery after you arrive. Just remember, it's not a hotel.

The house and views were amazing!!! There was plenty of inside space for everyone. The only negative thing I would say is they need to update deck furniture and have more!!! Would have also been nice to know the mini fridge downstairs wasn’t working hopefully they get a new one for next guests!!!

Beautiful house in great location

Property was beautiful and very clean. Perfect size for our family of 8. The kids loved the games in the basement and the adults loved that the games kept the kids busy ;) Location could not be beat with breathtaking views of the lake and closely located to all activities. Loved it!

Fabulous Property

We have stayed in quite a few large houses during the summer and winter in the mountains and oceanfront. This was the finest. The view is just stunning, the layout of the house is practical yet grand, the kids loved the game room including Ms Pacman, the fireplace pulled the entire family together like a magnet each evening, the hot tub was terrific after skiing, the location allowed us to walk back from the slopes at the end of the day. We haven't stayed anywhere so well appointed with glasses, dishes, pots, pans, etc. We hope to return to this place next winter.

Deep creek 2021

The house was beautiful and everything was as advertised. Had a wonderful time. Only negative is that the shower in the basement leaked and got the downstairs carpet wet and mildew. I called the office twice and both times they had someone there in a timely manner. But some luggage and personal porperty got mildew and smelly. But overall great house and great vacation.

Disappointed

Even though the trail was closed I would never have described this property as ski in/out. Countertops had some stains when we arrived. And having to bring basic items like trash bags is a ridiculous. Checking in and out was seemless and much appreciated.

kid friendly fun and large house

We had a great time relaxing in this spacious home. The Pac man machine was a hit. Only issue was we found several wasps inside on top floor. My wife is super allergic to Wasp stings, so we slept downstairs. Other than that, everything was perfect.

This house falls short.

A great view with beautiful sunsets! Location is perfect! Lots of repairs needed at this home though. It actually sleeps 10 and cannot accommodate 14 as advertised due to the poor condition of the mattresses in the pull out couches. Rusted outdoor chairs on deck. Refrigerator does not keep food and drinks cold. The only DVD player in working condition is located in living room. Great game room for rainy days - except the air hockey table is broken, pingpong table has pocked surface, and Pac man machine should not be plugged in due to sparks that fly when plugged in. The home has a great set up for large families, but cannot deliver on online description promises.
