Villa traditionnelle Maria O avec vue fantastique entre mer et forêt de montagne


Villa Maria O se trouve sur la colline surplombant la ville de Glossa. Son emplacement se combine avec certaines des meilleures vues sur l'île. Les longues après-midi ensoleillées, les couchers de soleil incomparables et le cadre naturel préservé en font un lieu exquis.
Villa a de grands balcons et de grandes vérandas. Il est entouré d’oliviers, d’amandiers et de chênes.
L'entrée principale mène à un salon spacieux, confortablement meublé avec une cheminée d'angle traditionnelle. Les grandes fenêtres donnent sur une excellente vue, la piscine et la forêt. La villa est bien aménagée et entièrement climatisée. Au rez-de-chaussée se trouve le salon, la cuisine entièrement équipée et 1 WC / douche avec machine à laver. Au deuxième étage, il y a 3 chambres avec des toits apparents traditionnels, toutes avec des balcons en bois et une vue magnifique. Il y a aussi un WC spacieux et moderne avec une grande baignoire Jacuzzi.
Villa Maria O est l'endroit idéal pour se détendre loin du bruit de la ville. La maison est également parfaite pour les enfants car elle dispose d'un espace pour jouer. Villa Maria O est un excellent choix pour ceux qui veulent un endroit isolé dans un environnement vierge avec une vue imprenable. Son emplacement près de Glossa et des plages à proximité le rend pratique pour tous.

Amazing stay

We LOVED staying at Villa Maria O. Niki was a super host. The house is so private, has everything we needed and was a wonderful place to relax. We wish we could have stayed longer.

Wonderful holiday

We had a wonderful holiday at the villa. It was all we could have wished for and more. Quiet, surrounded by nature and with the most magnificent views. The hosts are lovely and have thought of everything. We cannot recommend it enough!

Very nice villa with a great seaview !

We had a very nice stay in the villa Maria O with 4 adults and 1 teen. After a seamless check in, we could enjoy this beautiful property with a superb view and excellent terrace and pool. The house is nicely constructed and has a basic cooking equipment. All rooms are air conditioned and very pleasant with a balcony. This was a nice experience and we enjoyed a lot beeing on the Glossa side of Skopelos which is a calm and relaxed region. Special thanks for the very kind welcome from our host. Highly recommended !

Wonderful memories made here!

Came for an 8 day stay in early June. Two teen girls 18 and 14 yrs, their mother and us grandparents. The property is well taken care of and was very clean. The view alone will bring you back. Just breathtaking! The pool was refreshing and grounds were beautiful. The place looked better than the pictures! Kitchen was well equipped. Air conditioning worked wonderfully.The sunset from the upstairs balcony is glorious! There was a cat that welcomed us home every day! We spent mornings and evenings on the spacious patio eating and talking about our day. Went to a different beach everyday and it was easy finding your way around the island. You must rent a car because you are away from the cities and it’s steep going anywhere, but driving on the island is relatively easy. The road to the house is steep but you get used to driving it. Bathrooms could use electrical sockets(we had 4 females). And it would have been good to have mirrors on the wall in the twin bedroom and middle bedroom. Bed mattresses were very hard and twin beds you could feel the bed springs. This may not matter as much for a few nights stay, or if you have younger kids, but we stayed 8 nights. There is a wonderful bakery between Maria O and the outskirts of Glossa by the small supermarket. We ate there twice and stopped by for sweets too! And there are restaurants at the port that are wonderful. Good memories were made here and we will remember Skopelos most fondly! Thank you!

Notre séjour à la Villa Maria O était superbe. La maison est très bien placée. Nous étions 2 couples avec 3 enfants et c’etait Parfait. La maison est grande et dispose d’une très belle piscine très agréable. La vue est spectaculaire et les dîners sur la terrasse étaient ses grands moments. Nous avons passé un séjour formiable et Nikki est très gentille.nous reviendrons.

Fabulous villa and owners are amazing

Villa lovely with everything you need and has the best views. The owners Niki and Nik are so kind and helped us out many times as we did not have a car. They went out of their way to collect shopping, drove us to Skopelos town and the Mamma Mia church (and collected us when we were stuck in the village when the taxis were not available) My advice, unless you are very fit, is to get a car as the villa is at the top of a mountain. Easy enough to walk down to the village but a different story getting back !!!! Skopelos is a beautiful and unspoilt by tourists.

Villa Maria O is a spacious and very clean house, well equipped in a fantastic single location in the upper hills of Glossa. The furniture is of high quality, the kitchen has everything you need. The views of all the 3 balconys over the Aegean Sea are incredible nice. The pool is perfect. Niki and her husband are lovely and helpful people. Thank you so much for hosting us!

We never expected such a VIEW. One can see the Aegean from every window and the blue water just goes on and on…so beautiful. We had a heat wave and particularly enjoyed the pool and shade from the forest of pines, olives, and oleander. Very quiet, clean and perfectly situated. We walked to the bakery every morning. It was a lovely and restorative stay.

Villa Maria'O .... Excellent villa in a great location

This villa was in the ideal location, so peaceful up in hills above Glossa but only a 5 minute drive away from the village. The scenery around the villa was very spectacular with plenty of trees, shrubs, and flowers in the garden providing plenty of shade. The view down to the port was amazing. The swimming pool was kept immaculately clean . The villa was clean and adequately furnished. We would not hesitate to return and we thoroughly recommend this villa.

Niki and nikolaos were very friendly and helpful. They helped us with car hire and ferries and met us at the ferry to take us to the property. We really enjoyed our stay and would definitely like to return Skopelos is such a beautiful island. Everyone was very friendly and welcoming. Loved it

The most beautiful location and the pool looks over the sea . We loved the house and were very sad to leave. Nikki and Nickolas were so warm helpful and we would love to come again. The outside area is so well kept . The AC was brilliant .. they provided high chair and cot for us . Was a great family holiday . Loved Glossa

Very good, beautiful, traditional house. Clean and fresh inside.

The views from this property are glorious. A shaded terrace provides a very pleasant place to eat and sit. The swimming pool is well cared-for and checked every other day. The garden is lovely. The house is adaquately equipped, not luxurious but reasonable. We felt the lack of instructions for the house and information about the local area, such as bus times, doctor’s number, etc. and had understood that this was available on the Home Away website; however we were unable to access it. It should be made clear that you will need to hire a car (available near the ferry in Loutraki) because the drive to the house is very long and steep. You get used to it, as Niki the owner said. Overall we found this house and surroundings incredibly relaxing and we loved it. We didn’t want to leave. Best holiday for a long time.

Great stay!

The house is spacious and very comfortable, with a stunning sea view and an enjoyable swimming pool. We had very pleasant breakfast and lunch at the shadow of a big tree, watching at the sea and enjoying wonderful sunset from the terrace. The kitchen is basically furnished, the rooms and the entire house is well ventilated and fresh. The house seems to be recently renewed, respecting the traditional skopelos style. I think the car is necessary, as the house is at the top of a hill and the road is quite ripid. The village of Glossa is reachable by car in few minutes and this part of the island seems to be more quiet. The only problem for us was to leave the house the morning with its swimming pool to go to the sea, as we stayed so well!
