Our family reserved an Eden Crest property through VRBO for what was intended to be a memorial gathering following the passing of my mother. Unfortunately, the stay was impacted by repeated major maintenance and operational failures that substantially affected the safety, usability, and overall experience of the property.During the stay we experienced:• lack of reliable hot water for all days @ the property that could not be repair• repeated HVAC failures• leaking ceilings/water intrusion in theatre room w no resolve• access code issues,• sanitation concerns,• unsecured doors left open/unlocked by vendors,• and ongoing communication and resolution failures.Multiple guests, including children and medically vulnerable individuals, were affected. We spent much of the trip attempting to coordinate repairs, communicate with management, and address safety and sanitation concerns instead of being able to focus on our family gathering.To be fair, Travis, the maintenance attendant assisting us during portions of the stay, was professional, responsive, and genuinely attempted to help despite not being an Eden Crest employee. We appreciated his efforts.However, overall management response and final resolution were inadequate considering the extent of the documented issues and loss of use of the property.I would strongly encourage future guests to carefully evaluate communication responsiveness, maintenance preparedness, and property management oversight before booking.
