House has great ocean views from upper level. Its not directly on the beach but it is literally right across a small lightly traveled graveled road. Beach access is less then one block. Nicely appointed home with everything we needed. House is cozy and warms up very quickly. Many heater locations plus a cute gas fireplace that pops right on with the flick of a switch. House is nice inside and has 2 full bedrooms and bathrooms with an extra family room with a futon sofa for an extra family member. We would definitely rebook. Beach was great for beach combing. Found many many sand dollars and pretty shells and rocks.

This was a special gathering for our family - my parents owned this home for some 20 years before Jim purchased it, and he has done a wonderful job both updating the home and maintaining it. My brother and I, and our families stayed at this VRBO and the adjoining home. It is well worth your visit. Though the direct ocean view has recently been obscured by recent construction, there are still peekaboo ocean views and great ocean and beach access. Thank you, Jim, it was a special time for our family celebrating our parents/grandparents/great grandparents.

Every year in September we rent a home on the beach or very close to the beach. Although this home was not on the beach it had a stunning view and easy access to the beach. It was a wonderful place to spend our anniversary. I'm sure we will be back.Thank you Jim

2nd stay at cranberry crab

The beach house is great. This was our second stay here. We spent a week and enjoyed all of the recent upgrades to the house. The kids loved going to the beach. The house is always clean and comfortable.

Awesome place to stay

The house is very clean,not far from the town, walkable to the beach, have all the stuff you need in the house,very quiet neighborhood. We enjoy it very much. Definitely will coming back.

Quiet and clean!

Very nice out of the way stay. Close to Westport with some awesome food! Get the fully cleaned whole dungeness crab takeout from Merino's Seafood Market.

Nice stay by the beach

A well equipped and comfortable home in a quiet neighborhood. Close to beach. Short drive to grocery store or Westport marina and shops. There is construction underway on three lots close by, so there is some noise and the views are obstructed somewhat. The beach access as given in the house manual isn’t easy to use - better to go to the bend in the street where it’s much easier. Overall a lovely spot and we enjoyed our stay.

A little disappointing

The location of this property is close to the beach, which is accessible by walking around houses, through grasslands and down a steep drop. We were able to find stairs back up from the beach, but it isn’t accessible for anyone with any motor issues. The house is fine, it’s obviously professionally cleaned between renters however when the air freshener smell wore off over time, a strong scent of stale urine took over the living room area. The listing doesn’t show this but there is a whole house newly being built between this rental and the beach, it blocks the majority of the view. The noise from construction was difficult to endure, as well as the close proximity of the port a potty/honey bucket which was serviced during our stay and was also quite a difficult scent. I did inform the owner that he should consider updating the posting regarding construction and the view.

Wonderful beach house, close enough to the ocean to hear the surf!

Well stocked and nicely updated two-story home a short walk from the beach. Very clean and comfortable. Plenty of supplies for cooking any meal, including spices and oils and other things you don’t want to have to remember. The deck on the front is a great place to enjoy the waves. Only downside is there has been a lot of construction since the photos were taken. The view across the street is partially blocked now. There is a bit of construction noise. We would still stay here again no problem, but just be aware. The owner Jim is very responsive and nice to work with.

Wonderful get away with my dog!

I wanted a little get away from Redmond, somewhere I could take long walks on the beach with my dog. This place fit the bill! I saw eagles each morning and saw 3 deer when walking back from the beach one evening. My dog enjoyed hanging out on the outdoor deck as it was cool from the ocean breeze. The home was comfortable and I enjoyed my stay.

Great location with razor clamming

Very well managed and place is great. Had everything we needed and kids/dog had a great time. Stormy weather first night but we had beautiful sunsets from the deck following day. We did get quite a few razor clams during our stay. The few things that need to be address were already noted on stay.

Beautiful View

This was the perfect house to watch the ocean during stormy weather. The house is clean, warm, and cozy. We appreciated being able to have our dog with us. We had excellent communication with the owner who was immediately responsive.

Great property in a great location with stellar views. The kitchen is STOCKED with pretty much any tool or utensil you might need. Having the second bathroom was a very welcome change to other properties our family has stayed in. There were ample towels for both bathrooms and the kitchen. The gas fireplace really does the work of keeping the house warm. Would/will definitely stay again.

I lived in this house a little bit over a year working in the cranberry business then changed jobs. I have so many good memories I wanted to be able to come back and visit with my family and share with other people who love this area.

Voici ce qui rend cet hébergement unique

This property was like new when I bought it from an elderly couple. Not only is the beach view a beautiful site but the front and back yards are always full of wildlife which has always made it quite relaxing.
