Fabulous farm house in the country

We had the best time staying at Melograno; the pictures don't do the setting justice as it's even nicer! The daily housekeeping made you feel like you were in a hotel with the added luxury of your own pool and tranquility. Fresh Melograno (pomegranate) and figs a plenty along with herbs for cooking fresh from the walled garden. Views from the living room to the sea was a lovely surprise. Angela the manager of the house was incredibly helpful, meeting us on arrival at a time which suited us, offering suggestions on where to visit in the local area. Thanks for a totally relaxing stay!

This is a stunning property surrounded with olive trees and farmland. The apartment interior is beautiful and well furnished. Modern bathroom. They even supply a Dyson hair dryer! Our unit had a separate sitting room with large window doors looking over the front courtyard. The pool is great and I enjoyed swimming laps. It’s only 3-4 miles from the historic center of Monopoli (only 10 min to get to historic center). We had a rental car and wanted to stay outside the city center where parking is difficult. And we wanted the quiet countryside. Mariangela was a terrific host. So friendly and responds so quickly no matter what time of day you send a message. They have 4 apartments/villas of different sizes for 2 to 4 people. We plan to come back with family and this place will be perfect for that. This location is just 2 min drive to the main freeway. We spent 5 nights and used this property as our home base as we did day trips visiting Lecce, Alborobello, Locorotondo, Cisternino, Ostuni, Polignano a Mare, and Monopoli of course. Can’t recommend it enough.

Jolie Masseria au milieu des oliviers

Nous avons passé un agréable séjour dans la Masseria Pepefino. L’appartement Melograno est très agréable avec un vrai salon et une chambre à part. La cuisine est un peu sous équipée pour ceux qui voudrait cuisiner. C’est surtout l’environnement qui nous a plu. Au calme, loin des grands axes routiers. Le jardin est magnifique et très bien entretenu, entouré d’oliviers. Il y a une belle piscine sur place, un peu fraîche encore en ce mois de mai. Le logement est tout proche de Monopoli, ville charmante. Nous recommandons ce logement.

Luogo ideale per le vacanze. Complimenti soprattutto ad Angela, la signora che cura quotidianamente la casa, perfetta in ogni adempimento. Unico neo la pessima rete wifi, la peggiore che abbia mai incontrato !

Perfect summer week in Puglia

We enjoyed our stay at Melograno very much. The apartment, the house and the gardens are really beautiful and Angela took care of everything we wished for. Perfect combination of an independent holiday in an apartment not lacking any comfort one could wish. We will come back for sure and bring our friends. By the way: Puglia is the best region for relaxing south-italian, earth-grounded holidays. P & C & A

Melograno

Beautiful apartment with generous indoor and outdoor areas. The shared pool/outdoor areas are great and the garden is a massive bonus with fresh herbs and fruits to pick and use. I would highly recommend a stay here.

We recently had a wonderful 10 day stay at Masseria Pepenofio (Melograno). The accommodation & facilities are lovely and the service from Angela was excellent. We would definitely like to return.
