A beautiful home in a great, convenient neighborhood
My two sons and I lived in this home for two months while my wife received treatment at MD Anderson. It was a perfect place for us. There is a fantastic neighborhood park just a few blocks away that we walked to daily. It has a playground, soccer fields, walking and biking tracks, and is extremely safe and clean.
The house has been updated recently and has all modern fixtures. There is a TV in every room with ROKU and satellite TV.
The home has an open floor plan and feels very large. It has four large bedrooms and a nanny quarters in a separate structure from the house. The kitchen overlooks the living area making it perfect for entertaining or in our case, easy to keep an eye on the kids while cooking meals.
A few blocks away is a Randalls, Walmart, dry cleaners, Kohls, and many restaurants. You could really live without ever leaving a 3 mile radius.
The location of the home is great. Being right next to the highway made commutes easy and you can get to the medical center in less than 15 minutes without using a highway, which was very nice. The zoo, museums, Rice Village, and aquarium were all very easy to get to from this house.
The neighborhood is a real neighborhood with thoughtful neighbors and is extremely safe. We woke up to a gift basket one morning from a neighbor who said to just call if we every needed anything.
The owner, Limor, was very accommodating. She answered all my texts immediately and has a staff that helped us to solve any issues we perceived quickly.
Overall, I can't recommend this home enough. It was a difficult and stressful time for my family and we really needed the home we chose to be perfect. It was and we are very grateful.
