Charmante maison de 3 chambres dans somptueuse campagne du Devon, une piscine intérieure et un sauna

The Long Barn est un gîte rural spacieux pouvant accueillir cinq / six personnes, situé dans la belle campagne de l’Est du Devon, à seulement 15 minutes de route de la M5 (J27).

Les clients ont accès à une grande piscine intérieure chauffée (33 pieds), un sauna, une salle de fitness, des aires de jeux pour enfants, un trampoline de 12 pieds, une laverie, un bassin avec canards et poulets amicaux et un terrain de deux acres.

Le gîte est situé à Three Gates Farm, une ancienne ferme du XVIIe siècle reconvertie en cinq maisons de vacances 4 étoiles, près de Tiverton, près de la frontière entre Devon et Somerset.

La longue grange est de plain-pied et dispose de trois chambres et deux salles de bains (une double, une twin et une simple, qui est convertible en twin). Il a une cuisine entièrement équipée avec lave-vaisselle, micro-ondes, réfrigérateur et congélateur séparé et salon spacieux avec télévision à écran plat avec TNT, lecteur DVD, téléphone et accès Internet WiFi gratuit. Le chalet est confortable et chaleureux avec chauffage central au fuel. À l'arrière, un patio couvert, idéal pour prendre le petit-déjeuner au soleil du matin, donnant sur le parc et la campagne vallonnée.

Les lits et les chaises hautes sont disponibles sur demande (sans frais supplémentaires). Nous acceptons les animaux domestiques et accueillons les chiens bien élevés, pour lesquels un supplément de 20 £ par chien et par semaine est appliqué.

Fantastic accomodation

Couldn't asked for anything more, The Granary was immaculate, comfy and a home from home. Love the new bathroom. The setting is so peaceful and everyone is well catered for. My three year old had a ball as usual. We are definately going back.

The Granary at Three Gates Farm

To get at the above location it seems to me that it would be better and easier to follow the way to Huntsham starting in Cove somewhat halfway between Tiverton en Bampton. Driving in the narrow lane to the Granary isn't easy and rather riskfull because you haven't any survey on the traffic. Our stay was outstanding!

Immaculate setting with ample facilities even to occupy the busiest of children. Lovely accommodation and friendly and extremely welcoming hosts. Ein wunderschönes, idyllisch und sehr ruhig gelegenes Ferienhaus. Es war alles so wie beschrieben, sauber und gepflegt. Die Vermieter sind sehr nett und hilfsbereit. Das Anwesen bietet einen prima Ausgangspunkt für Ausflüge an die Küste, ins Dartmoor, nach Cornwall usw.. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt und würden das Ferienhaus jederzeit weiterempfehlen.

Die Vermieter waren sehr nett und hilfsbereit.Die Wohnung ist sehr gut ausgestattet, es war alles vorhanden, was wir als vierköpfige Familie für unseren Aufenthalt benötigten. Das Anwesen ist ein prima Ausgangspunkt für Ausflüge nach Cornwall, ins Dartmoor, zur Küste usw . Wir würden das Ferienhaus jederzeit weiterempfehlen.

Perfekter Urlaubsort THREE GATES FARM in Devon!!!

Unser Cottage hatte nur einen kleinen Mangel, es fehlt ein zusätzlicher Sessel. Cottage super, Pool sauber und gepflegt ... alles sehr schön! Die Farm ist sehr gepflegt und idyllisch - romantisch. Besonders liebevoll sind Lynn, Jonathan und Tochter :-) Devon ist wunderschön und beeindruckend. Leider benötigt man ein Auto, da keine öffentlichen Verkehrsmittel in der Nähe sind. Mit Auto ist aber alles nötige gut erreichbar. Wir hatten Anfang Mai gutes Wetter, viel Sonne und wenig Regen. Sehr freundliche Menschen gab es immer wieder und überall. Süd England bietet viele Attraktionen und hat ein tolles Klima. Die Küche ist typisch englisch ;-) Ich würde jeder Zeit wieder hin fahren! Allerdings wird kaum deutsch gesprochen und man sollte sich zu helfen wissen. Aber immer wieder ein Besuch wert! Danke an Lynn & Jonathan :-)

Beautiful location, clean, comfy and cozy

We really enjoyed our stay at The Long Barn and would definitly stay there again. We were easily able to explore the area and enjoyed coming"home" after having done so. Lynn and Jonathan are wonderful hosts giving just the right amount of attention and privacy. It was great to have a clean and functional indoor pool. Whe we asked our boys (aged 13 and 17) which bit of our week in Devon they would enjoyed beat and would like to repeat they both saidmthey would come back to tay here again (no mention of the hikes, the Landscape or the visit to Exeter Cathedral!). The cottage was clean, well equipped, cozy and comfortable.

Geweldig!

We hebben ontzettend genoten van onze vakantie bij Lynn en Jonathan. The granary was top, zwembad dagelijks gebruikt. Alles bijzonder netjes en schoon en onze meiden van 3 en 5 mochten eieren rapen. Omgeving mooi, Engelsen ongelooflijk beleefd en goed te bereiken vanaf Dover. Het is een aanrader!

Relaxing Winter Break at lovely Granary Cottage

My partner and I were in need of a relaxing winter break and found the perfect place - Granary Cottage at Three Gates Farm. Set on a hillside overlooking spectacular rolling hills, the cottage is well placed to explore Exmoor National Park, Dunster, Porlock, Lynton, Exeter, Exmouth - all providing very different days out. Granary Cottage is very well appointed, extremely comfortable and the owners have thought of every little detail to ensure a great stay. The log burner made the cottage very cosy and we really didn't want to drag ourselves away from this relaxing haven. Two things that really make Granary Cottage stand out - the swimming pool, which we used each day, and also the owners, Lynn and Jonathan who are great hosts and nothing is too much trouble. The cottage and swimming pool are immaculate and we enjoyed being in such a relaxing environment. As we are planning a return visit, we asked for 'a nosy' around some of the other cottages at Three Gates Farm. Each has it's own character, great views, and high standards of cleanliness. Highly recommended.
