Emplacement de choix sur la plage de Wrightsville pour une plage familiale et des vacances en bateau dans le quartier calme et paisible de South Lumina. Océan incroyable et vues sonores de 4 ponts. Juste une maison de la plage avec accès à l'océan facile. Ou choisissez votre plage privée et calme au quai du côté du son avec votre glissade de bateau en eau profonde et gazebo sur le canal Banks. Le quai est un endroit idéal pour les enfants à pêcher! South Lumina est une rue à sens unique, à faible circulation et à circulation lente - probablement plus de coureurs et de cyclistes que de voitures, et pas de parking public.

Levers de soleil sur l'océan. Midi et soir rassemblements bord de l'océan sur l'immense terrasse sont à l'aise à l'ombre - des lunettes de soleil pas nécessaires! Ce plan d'étage ouvert est parfait pour les grandes familles et divertissant, et a vue sur l'océan de presque chaque pièce. Ne vous inquiétez pas de transporter votre Keurig, nous l’avons! 4 téléviseurs à écran plat haute définition. Ascenseur, bain à remous et douche extérieure. Le restaurant Oceanic et la jetée de l'océan se trouvent à 3 minutes à pied de votre porte d'entrée. De l'autre côté de la rue du restaurant est un petit café / café Beachy - avec vue sur l'océan! Tout simplement, cette maison de plage a vraiment tout!

Wedding Week

This house was perfect for our week to celebrate my son marry his bride. It was spacious enough for everyone to have private space but the community level provided the ability to connect with the group. The one item that we wanted to relay is that the upstairs bedroom doorstop to the balcony had fallen off and the door had the capability to fly back. Thanks all.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We have stayed at The Schmid many times. The last time was about 8 years ago. As much as we love the house, location and lay out of the house, it does need to be updated a bit. Also, the owners need to consider buying another trash container (one that the garbage collectors pick up). One trash container for a house that sleeps at least 10 people is not enough. With all that said, we WILL be back next year!

Trash is picked up 2 days/week on the island and the owner now had two trash cans at the house. We discussed updating the TV's in the house at the beginning of the season, that will defintiely go a long way in the 'updating' section of this review. -MKR 7/15/13

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The house itself was nice. The things inside were not so. The bedding has not been updated in ages. The quilts on the bed were piled and paper thin. If you like to cook and you are renting this house you ought to bring your own knives. They are cheap knives from the grocery store and aren't very sharp -- at all. The location of the house was great. You have a water view of the ocean and there is a great porch to sit on. We spent most of our time out on the porch. You also have access to the sound.

We will look at the kitchen supplies during the inventory, as well as the bedding. We look forward to having this guest again, and showing them another great vacation.

Great Location and house layout; Tired and in need of update!

Rating Details: The property manager was more than helpful. The vacation rental was very dirty. I was very happy with the location. I was somewhat dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We enjoyed our stay with family -- and the accommodations were great for us. Close to the beach, elevator for Dad, enough beds. But the furniture, carpet and kitchen utensils/cookware need updating; the place was clearly not ready for our arrival; cleaning staff had to come back; elevator was not operating properly, no one had inspected it before we arrived. Sean was a delight and quite accommodating and helpful. The staff was responsive and attentive. It was just a lot of followup and hassle at the front end which could have been avoided if the place had been ready for rent. We'll be back to Wrightsville. May try another residence!

Fantastic

Fantastic property exactly as advertised. Lots of beach toys including two wagons which came in very handy.had access to a dock which was a great surprise. Advertise for 13 people but only had like 8 forks and no extra toilet paper. Pillows pretty flat. Really minor minor minor points. Would stay here again was a fantastic location tons of room lots of beds great common areas

We've always loved it for many reasons, including its spaciousness, wonderful views, its access to the beach and the channel. Beach access was made more difficult this year by some beach front neighbors blocking long-used paths. We need to improve this.

Reviewer Comments: We had a great spring break vacation here. Pros—the house is laid out really well for two young families and grandparents. Location is in a very quiet section of the beach which we loved. I was happy to see the owners responded to an earlier review asking for new bedding in the master. There was a lovely new quilt provided. Cons—we had some confusion about the beach access which hopefully will be worked out for future renters. The noise from the kitchen chairs over the room below is awful. It might help to have some lighter chairs there or some kind of rug underneath them. One of the faucets needed to be replaced as it was leaking.

It is near access to the beach (the Big Beach; the ocean) and also has a "little beach" on the Channel for the toddlers to enjoy with no waves. The gazebo on the Channel is perfect for sunset viewing at the end of the well-spent day.

Big kids can play in the waves and surf and little ones can enjoy the beach at the dock on the channel. Sunsets are great there for everyone, too. The deck is a wonderful place to gather and even eat dinner together. We love this home.
