Nous avons acheté cette propriété parce que nous aimions l’idée d’être si près de la plage afin que nous puissions aller et venir à pied pour les repas et les siestes. Nous aimons aussi cet endroit car la maison se trouve dans une rue sans issue. C'est très sûr pour les enfants et vous n'avez pas à vous soucier des voitures à cause de l'emplacement de la maison. Notre caractéristique préférée est la douche extérieure entièrement fermée avec eau chaude et froide ... très pratique pour les grands groupes et les enfants pour rincer tout ce sable !! S'il vous plaît pas d'animaux autorisés, merci!

Family friendly house near the kids park and water

This house was very specious and near the kids park and water. A15 minute walk and you will be in town for shopping, coffee, and/or a fun dinner out! The owner was very responsive and fixed a minor issue quickly. We would recommend this home to families and friends and will consider staying here again!

Better than expected

Our stay was amazing and better than expected!! The pictures do not match all the updates that have been done to this property. Pleasantly surprised at all the updates. The beds were extremely comfortable which is very important anywhere we stay. It was walking distance to a very nice beach with a pier. We also drove to several beaches each day to look for rocks which was our main goal of our trip. It was nice to have access to the grill and fire pit.We only had to eat out once.

Amazing Getaway

House exceeded our expectations. Lovely decorating and home was accommodated beautifully. The location is absolutely perfect:close proximity to the beach and if you have little ones, super close to Kids Korner. We rode bikes into town but it’s also walkable. We’ve stayed in South Haven many years but this was one of our favorite places. Owner responded to inquiries immediately and allowed us to use their bikes.

Lovely home located close to park and beach

Our family enjoyed our stay very much. Pictures don’t do the home justice. It’s a very nice beach home. Ideal location a short walk to the beach(note there is a bluff so steps are required to get to beach) I was thankful to have a park close to let my younger kiddos run off steam.

Better than the pictures!

The house looks cute online, but it’s 10 times better in person. Lots of space, very close to the beach, and even close enough to walk to the bars and restaurants. The neighborhood is very nice and quiet. The owner was quick to respond and check-in and check-out were easy. I would definitely stay here again!

Great house and location on a quiet street!

The home and location exceeded our expectations!. The photos do not do the house justice. Many of the rooms have been updated since the online photos were taken. The adult bikes were in great condition. Being in a cul-de-sac/dead end was nice for our 4 year old to ride his bike. Besides several bikes, chairs and sand toys, the owners have a wagon that can be used to haul your cooler, chairs, etc. to the beach. It is a short walk to the beach and awesome kids park. We grilled on the Webber Grill and had our morning coffee on the porch. Owner was quick to kindly answer our questions.

Family Get-together at the beach

Our family has always enjoyed going to the beach. And now, as adults, we still enjoy it. We've met in South Haven for several years in a row, and we've stayed in the house at 719 St. Joe Place the past 2 years. The house has everything we need: close proximity to the beach, playground, and downtown; comfortable accommodations; a nice back yard; and plenty of toys in the garage (bikes, paddle board, corn hole, bacchi ball, etc.). We absolutely love the house.

Amazing location and backyard!

Brent’s house was fantastic for my family. We really enjoyed our stay! The location was amazing and the yard was great for the kids to play. The main floor bath has been updated from the photos and has a great tiled shower. There is also a small room off the kitchen with a twin bed that we didn’t know was there, but worked great for my daughter. Everything we needed was available- like extra blankets and a fully stocked kitchen. The basement looks to be mid- demo so although there was a bathroom listed down there it wasn’t available to use. Black out shades would have been great because it stays light very late and the sun comes up early so the kids had trouble sleeping. Also, the kids room is listed as a queen but seemed smaller and was difficult for 2 people to sleep in as we had planned. All in all, we loved our stay! Thank you very much!

Nice house, quiet neighborhood, close to beach and playground.

Our family had a great time at this nice house, on a quiet street, but so close to a playground and a Lake Michigan Beach. Great size for our family of 7 adults and 2 kids under 6 years old. South Haven is a great little town, and it's just a short walk from this house. We were lucky to visit when the blueberries were in season, and we visited a local blueberry farm to pick some.

Wonderful!

This is a perfect location for families. Easy walk to beach and park, close to downtown. The house can easily accommodate multiple families, with plenty of bedrooms and bathrooms. The house was clean and had lots of amenities. Even better than the photos.

Family vacation

This home was beautiful, comfortable, clean, and just a short walk from a great playground and of course the beach. The kitchen had everything we needed to cook most of our meals. The back patio/yard made the perfect hangout when we weren’t out for the day. The community is super quiet and we felt safe to walk wherever we wanted to go.

Perfect Location

We enjoyed our stay, but wish we had more days available! The house had a perfect location, only 2 blocks from a beautiful beach. There was plenty of space for 6 adults and a child, so we didn't feel on top of each other. The house is definitely updated a bit from the pictures, but we felt it was a little dirty in some spots. The floors left our bare feet dirty, and there were some cobwebs we ran into in corners of rooms, but otherwise nothing bad. We also had to reach out to the owner for directions for check-in/keys and check-out because there was nothing provided to us, or left visible at the house. We will definitely keep this home in mind for another summer stay where we can come back and enjoy the close location and warmer weather for a longer period of time!

We are a Family of 5 that purchased this home for relaxing summers on the beach. We live in Kalamazoo, and absolutely love everything about South Haven for our family. Great atmosphere, restaurants and shopping. After a full renovation and a few great rental experiences we decided to rent this home during the summer when we are not using it.

You won't find a better beach 'experience'....front porch swing, grilling, fire pit, outdoor shower....everything you need to have a great relaxing vacation with all of the amenities.

Voici ce qui rend cet hébergement unique

This house sits on a "half street" - no busy streets to deal with, which is great for young children! You can sit on the front porch and let your kids play in the front yard without a busy street nearby!
