Walk to Lake Michigan, downtown, and Kid's Corner!

**Plan a holiday family party at our cottage! Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Year are open!**
FOR SUMMER 2025, please book from Saturday to Saturday from June 28 through
August 2.
Spacious house with 5 bedrooms, 3 full bathrooms, 2 living rooms, and a large front porch. Plus a deck for grilling (gas) and outdoor dining. Leave your car in the driveway and walk to the beach, kid’s park, and downtown! The driveway has room for 4 vehicles. There are plenty of restaurants and shops, a splash pad, scooter, bicycle, and paddle board rentals, tour boats, and much more. Our cottage is less than 5 miles from a Meijer, Walmart, and Aldi and also a downtown farmer’s market for all of your produce needs. We are about 7 blocks to downtown, 5 blocks to South Beach, and 2 blocks to the Kids’ Corner Playground. Come and see all that South Haven has to offer. We look forward to hosting you!

Very kid friendly space, including a baby gate for the stairs if needed. Kitchen has everything you need and they even provided wood for the fire pit!

This was the best stocked VRBO I have ever stayed at. I packed all my things from home and needed none of them! It was very family friendly and the kids enjoyed all the toys! The outside was just as enjoyable. We rode bikes and played in the kiddie pool. Thanks for all the thought that went into the extras!

We had a great stay, Judy was responsive and created a great experience for our stay. Place was comfortable, clean and had everything needed for a relaxing stay. The location was walkable to beach and downtown South Haven.

Perfect accommodation!

The house was super clean, nicely decorated, open concept, bright and inviting. There was plenty of space for us eight adults. It is located on a quiet street, only twoblocks from the lake, and within walking distance of the pier and downtown. Staying here made our family get together even more delightful.

Retirement celebration

We stayed at this beautiful property in June 2024. The house was perfect for our family get together. The kids loved the bunk bed room. The house was immaculate, beautifully decorated and well stocked with kitchen supplies. Loved the front and back porches. Owners were very helpful answering any questions we had. We would definitely stay here again!!

Fabulous property!

This property is a new build and decorated so cute! They’ve really thought of everything; you really don’t need to bring anything but your suitcase. We loved the location on a quiet street and easy walks to the beach or downtown. This is our third year in South Haven and definitely the best rental. Would love to return!

Wonderful Stay

We had a great stay at the Lake House! House was updated, clean and provided ample space for our family. We loved hanging on the front porch and in the back yard as well. Definitely hope to stay there again!

This was our first time staying at the lake house and it did NOT disappoint! Definitely booking for next year! The house has everything u need annd more! the house was super clean. Close to everything, great location. Loved the little details the owners put into the home!

Great house, perfect for our family

We were accompanied by 3 of our kids and their spouses, and 5 grandkids ages 3-6. The house had an excellent area for family gathering time and devotions, and very good sleeping arrangements. Our grandkids loved the bunk room. The kitchen was well equipped for meal preparation. We enjoyed using the bikes in the garage to ride the paved Van Buren trail only 3 blocks from the house. It was an easy walk to the beach for sunsets and fireworks and beach time. The owners were kind and responsive to our questions. We hope to return to this house when we visit South Haven again.

Wedding weekend

We were in town for my daughter’s wedding. This house was perfect for my whole family. It was very clean and spacious, it had everything we needed. We had my 2 year granddaughter and the house was very kid friendly, Highly recommend staying here. We did not not have one issue, it was a great experience!

Top Notch Stay!

The house was impeccably clean and gorgeously furnished. It was about a 6-8 block walk to the town, but only a 2-3 block walk to the lake to watch the jaw-dropping sunsets! Lots of cute sitting places on deck and front porch. Our girls' getaway weekend was amazing, thanks to this location and home!

Winter Getaway

Great property for our whole family. Plenty of space, very well equipped kitchen. Everything as pictured online. The location is a short walk to the beach and Kid's Corner and only a little further to downtown. This was probably the best equipped rental we have stayed in. The hosts are responsive and check in was easy. Everything in the house is well done and in working order. I highly recommend this property and we would definitely stay here again.

Amazing, everything-you-need and more right next to South Beach!

This is a long overdue a few for a wonderful house! This was our family’s third summer in a rowvisiting South Haven. Our group of extended family members included grandparents and sib Ings in our families with young children. I can’t say enough about this property! Not only have the owners thought of everything – and I mean everything – the home is beautiful, comfortable, modern, and has plenty of great sleeping arrangements for everyone. We particularly appreciated the big and well stocked kitchen, relaxing front porch, downstairs area for playing and napping small kids, and the awesome back deck, yard, and garage filled with extras. We hope to be back at this amazing house this coming summer. Thanks for a wonderful, relaxing week in South Haven with family!

far flung friends' get-together

My friends and I no longer live in the same place, so we wanted to pick a place to come together for a couple of days and catch up and enjoy each other's company. This place did not disappoint. It is beautifully decorated and very welcoming and had everything you needed. The photos are accurate as well as the description. We walked up the street to the beach and lighthouse, walked into town for dinners and shopping. It's a lovely neighborhood, quiet, felt very safe. All the people we encountered were very friendly. The hosts went above and beyond with all that is supplied in the house (considering it is a vacation property) including blankets to sit out on the porch with on cool evenings, little things like bandaids that you don't need until you need them. The hosts were easy to deal with and quick to respond to any questions I had. The fall is a lovely time to come to South Haven and enjoy the fall colors and quieter crowds. Will definitely be returning in the future.

Large open spaces and many quiet places

For a family gathering this location was perfect. Kitchen, dining and living area allows everyone in same space. Front porch in a quiet neighborhood extended the living area for play space with children or snuggling on comfortable furniture with coffee. The back yard allowed day time activities privately in fenced area. Garage even allowed additional enclosed gathering space. Basement bedrooms plus additional living area below gave privacy when needed. Great for a family to be without a car during stay if able to walk 8-10 miles. We got lots of steps but maybe those were from dancing at Captain Lou’s too? Great restaurants and shops within walking distance. A very friendly neighborhood with amazing amenities and equipped kitchen in house for your every need!

Weather was hot but that’s the best time to be at the beach. House was excellent as always and location is great for walking to beach, park, or downtown.
