Retraite paisible à proximité du lac d'Austin et le lac Travis. Quinze minutes du centre-ville.

Notre propriété est située juste à l'ouest du centre-ville d'Austin et notre maison et notre maison d'hôtes sont situées sur 2 1/4 acres. Nous l'avons appelé Campo de Paz (Lieu / Pays de la Paix), car il un endroit très tranquille et l'espace. Ici, vous êtes juste à l'extérieur l'agitation de la ville, mais assez proche pour profiter du meilleur des deux mondes; vous ressourcer à la campagne ou explorer tout ce que Austin a à offrir. Mieux encore, faire les deux! Le choix t'appartient! Vous êtes à quelques minutes du lac de Austin, le lac Travis, The Hill Country Galleria, et beaucoup de grands restaurants. Détendez-vous sur votre terrasse privée et regarder pour le cerf! Écouter les hiboux et au printemps, vous pourriez être assez chanceux pour entendre les engoulevents. Le charme d'une chambre (environ 255 pieds carrés), une salle de bain maison d'hôtes est meublée d'un lit queen confortable, de plain-pied dans la douche, beaucoup d'espace de placard, réfrigérateur, micro-ondes, cafetière et bouilloire électrique. café Gourmet Nespresso et une sélection de thés Tazo sont fournis. Fraîchement biscuits au chocolat ou d'autres goodies seront au rendez-vous quand vous arrivez. Wi-fi est disponible avec un 32 'TV (99 chaînes).

Wonderful eclectic bungalow…perfect for a couple. Love the privacy and love how they kept it native. Plenty of room, and they literally thought of everything, even homemade cookies! Groovy area, love the coffee, Italian, and pastries nearby also. We will be back!

My son and I came out for the eclipse, and were very pleased with our stay. Such a peaceful property, with a great walking trail full of dear. Carolyn and Cap were very gracious and hospitable hosts. We would definitely stay here again!

ATX Getaway

Cal and Carolyn were great hosts, they gave us wonderful food ideas and were always easy to communicate with. This is a quiet and peaceful spot and getting anywhere in Austin is 20-25 minutes.

Very nice! Things we enjoyed: expresso, homemade cookies, satellite TV, nice porch and landscaping, and better than average bathroom. The location was very convenient to One World Theatre and Strange Land Brewing. The owners were very friendly and made us feel welcome. We hope to stay here again!

Peaceful, relaxing getaway

We had a wonderful stay at Campo de Paz!! This is a beautiful, well-decorated house situated on a lovely, private piece of property. We saw four deer on our walk and enjoyed watching the birds while we sat on the deck. Cap and Carolyn are very welcoming hosts who have thought of every detail! We also opted to add breakfast to our stay, and everything was so good! We would definitely recommend this little retreat!!

Nice Getaway

Carolyn and Cap are a super sweet couple and want to make sure you have everything you need during your stay. We loved the surrounding beauty of their property and appreciated the cleanliness of their cottage. Austin - the Peaceful Side!

Way out West on Bee Cave, close to Lakeway, this inexpensive tranquil jewel has everything I need for business travel. Surrounded by trees, it's quiet, peaceful, off the beaten track and yet close to Whole Foods, great golf courses and Lake Travis. Just a few miles off Capital of Texas Highway, you can avoid the Austin congestion and still access the best the Hill Country has to offer!

Peace & Serenity of a well manicured wooded enclave!

Carolyn and Cap are awesome hosts. The unit is totally private, tucked into a peaceful wooded space and surrounded by fabulous landscaping. You've got a private deck too. I wish it had a kitchen - if it did I'd probably move in! - but everything else you need is there. This is about 100 times better than any hotel in Austin.

Relaxing and Peaceful!!

This was such a wonderful, tranquil place with delightful and helpful hosts. We will absolutely stay here again. We had a weekend full of fun at this location central to downtown - about 20 minutes away - and Fredricksburg - a little over an hour away. The accommodations were everything we could ask for - fresh and clean, wonderful shower, comfy bed, lots of space, good coffee and homemade cookies. It was quite luxurious. It was an unusually cold weekend so we didn't get to sit outside on the porch and enjoy nature - but we will be sure to do that next time. We highly recommend this lovely house.

A Gem Among the Trees

My husband and I loved our stay at Campo de Paz. It was a great location to relax or zip to SXSW if we wanted. I highly recommend this rental if you are looking for a place to enjoy the birdsongs, sit out on a patio and appreciate nature. The nice touch of fresh baked cookies didn't last long, thank you Cap and Carole for hosting us. My mom and friends were super jealous of the pictures I posted on Facebook of your sweet spot! We will be back!!!

Hill country gem

Beautiful slice of hill country right outside the city. Carolyn and Cap kindly greeted me on my arrival and made sure I'll be comfrotable for my stay. They were so kind to offer refreshments and made sure I there was a plate of Carolyns famous cookies. The hype is real! The house is close enough to get ubers to the city, and far out enough that the state parks are driving distance. Thanks again!

Busy, married mom professional that needed an escape to decompress

Campo de paz is the perfect escape if you need to remove yourself from the busy hustle and bustle of life. To add icing to the proverbial cake, the owner's Carolyn and Cap are literally sent from Heaven. The length they will go to ensure your stay is everything you envisioned is unparalleled. Not only did they rescue me from a flat tire issue, I was invited to a lovely pot luck dinner with their closest friends. The location is perfect...close enough to everything, yet far enough away to feel removed and isolated if that's your desire. I enjoyed myself immensely. Thank you Carolyn and Cap again.

Relaxing stay

Beautiful area, and the comments are correct, pictures don’t do it justice! Carlolyn and Cap are very vice and responsive, and the hiking trail they have is very serene:) perfect place for a relaxing weekend!

We love to travel and have a passion for collecting folk art and for cooking. Japan, Australia, Mexico, Italy, France and England are a few of the places we've traveled. We love to stay in Bed and Breakfasts and were inspired to build one of our own. We each have a background in fine arts and have taught art both privately and in schools for years. We designed and built the house ourselves. The current guest house was once part of Carolyn's ceramics studio. We have just listed our guest house on VRBP/HomeAway and we look forward to hosting visitors to Austin and the Lake Travis/Lake Austin area.
