Superbe loft contemporain rénové de 1875 au coeur du centre historique de Vicksburg! Un espace «wow factor» bien aménagé pouvant accueillir confortablement 4 personnes, offrant une vue imprenable sur la rivière depuis le toit-terrasse. Marcher à manger unique, boutiques et sites historiques. Situé au-dessus d'une célèbre galerie d'art Mississippi, l'espace est la maison de rêve d'un artiste. Les 2 400 m² Plan d'étage ouvert Ft dispose d'art unique et un mélange de mobilier contemporain et antique. Le loft a un lit king et un lit queen avec deux canapés et un planeur (pour ceux d'entre vous qui ne sont pas du sud, c'est un lit de repos qui balance!) une salle de bain complète avec grande douche, buanderie, cuisine complète et terrasse sur le toit pour regarder les incroyables couchers de soleil. Le loft est équipé de wi-fi et d'un système de sécurité pour votre confort et votre sécurité!

We enjoyed meeting our Hostess Ms. Porter and obtaining excellent recommendations for dining and sight seeing. The property was as described. The loft was well furnished (sofa and arm chair were a bit worn but hostess indicated they were being replaced very soon. Loved the rooftop view and the elevator. Would definitely stay again when in the area.

We loved our stay! The interior has historic charm, clean, comfortable & a perfectly curated art collection to enjoy. We parked right outside on the street, had a magnificent dinner at a restaurant steps away and enjoyed listening to a local band snuggled up on our private terrace. Chris is an absolutely lovely hostess and I am delighted to bring home a print of her artwork. Vicksburg has the friendliest people and delicious food. I can’t wait to visit again.

Great Spot in Vicksburg!

Chris is the best host ever! Location is close to everything, parking easy, loft immaculate and spacious. Key City Brewery has Delicious pizza and good beer. Would stay here again.

The owner, Chris and her staff are very friendly. Made my husband and I feel very welcome. The loft was spotless with lots of space. Sunset from the rooftop was awesome. There is so much to do in the area that we didn’t get to do it all. We definitely will plan another trip to Vicksburg and stay again at the Gallery Loft.

Lovely Vicksburg loft

We very much enjoyed our stay in this lovely and comfortable loft. Located near many restaurants and shops, it also has a great view from the roof deck. Our host was responsive to our questions. We would definitely stay here again.

Chris was a wonderful host, accommodating and pleasant. The apt. is beautiful, and huge going from the front of the bldg. to the back, there are three very comfortable seating areas, so spread out and relax. It has all the necessary amenities. Kitchen was great, with extras, like assorted seasonings. The rooftop terrace is such an added bonus, with a view of the river and beautiful sunset. Chris has an art gallery on the first floor and it is an easy walk to a couple of local museums. And Lydia, who works at the gallery, was a joy to chat with.

I'm a native Mississippian and a professional artist. I started my studio in 1987 in Jackson and after 20 years moved to Vicksburg. I was drawn by the historic building and the river views! My artwork reflects my love of Mississippi and its rich cultural and blues heritage.

My contemporary southern loft is above my signature art gallery in historic downtown Vicksburg on the main street, Washington St. Washington St. is also the Blues Highway, Highway 61,which runs from Memphis to New Orleans. I have found Vicksburg to be a welcoming, artsy, historic and charming town. I have found my home here, but I travel often and am able to share my loft/home while I am away.

Voici ce qui rend cet hébergement unique

I've been told Mississippi is the last mysterious state in the Union! Vicksburg is a wonderful place to explore Mississippi's unique and historic past. My loft is 3 minutes from the National Military Civil War Park, one block above our riverfront murals, three blocks from the Court House Museum and two blocks from our Mississippi River Museum. The award winning, local shopping, dining and sightseeing is all surrounding my loft. Newly opened, the only rooftop dining/bar in Mississippi is located across the street, 10 South, with it's tenth story view of the River and downtown Vicksburg (just in case my three story private roof terrace isn't enough!) I have created an artist's dream home and it is my pleasure to share it with you!
