Georgetown Lakeview Cabin

Idéalement situé à seulement 3 pâtés de maisons du lac Georgetown, le Greys Cabin est tout ce dont vous avez besoin pour une visite confortable et sans souci. La maison a une vue magnifique sur le lac et est à distance de marche de la marina. Il offre un accès remarquablement facile à la forêt nationale de Beaverhead / Deer Lodge et à Anaconda / Pintlar Wilderness où les loisirs et la solitude vous attendent. Greys Cabin peut accueillir six personnes, avec deux chambres avec un lit queen, un lit double et un canapé-lit dans le salon. Une cuisine entièrement équipée, un foyer au gaz, une laveuse / sécheuse, une télévision par satellite et une connexion Wi-Fi complètent cette maison moderne qui présente des vues sur la colline boisée. Un pont enveloppant invite les clients à faire un barbecue, à profiter de la compagnie des autres et à observer la faune occasionnelle. Grays Cabin est un endroit où les clients peuvent enlever leurs chaussures, se détendre et profiter de la vie au bord du lac pendant quelques jours ou quelques semaines.
Construite en 1977, la cabine est un chantier en cours et a encore beaucoup de son "charme 70's". Si vous cherchez cette cabine "Log Home" parfaite, ce n'est peut-être pas pour vous. Nous avons décidé de louer aux vacanciers et de laisser les autres profiter de ce que nous avons apprécié depuis l'achat de notre chalet. De plus, cela contribuera à payer les améliorations et les mises à niveau que nous avons prévues au cours des prochaines années. Son prix est juste au-dessus de ce que les motels locaux facturent pour une chambre et une salle de bain de type studio typique sans vue sur le lac. Donc, pour le prix, vous ne pouvez pas vous tromper.

VEUILLEZ ÊTRE CONSCIENT DE CE QUI SUIT .....
Un véhicule à quatre roues motrices est nécessaire pour accéder à la cabine pendant les mois d'hiver. La route menant à la cabine a une pente assez raide. Vous ne pourrez pas remonter la colline avec un véhicule à deux roues motrices lorsqu'il y a de la neige / de la glace sur le sol.

Nice cabin tucked away on the hill. Quite has everything you need to have a comfortable stay. Only setback and it is very minor, is the hill going up to the cabin is a bit rough so low profile vehicales may struggle.

Cozy Home Away From Home

The house was snug and well-equipped with everything we could need and then some. The kids had a blast playing twister and we enjoyed using the grill and the outdoor furniture on the deck. The views were lovely and the place felt like home very quickly. My only critical comment would be that the beds were pretty hard. That may be preferred for some people...and it certainly didn't bother the kids...but if you prefer soft beds and are going for an extended stay maybe bring a fluffy sleeping bag for a little more cushion.

We like the location, the kitchen, and living area were fine, but the bathroom was worn out. The tub is wornout and i could not sit in it for a bath. Some of the tile is missing and the bottom of the tub is black, from the type of tube it is. Very hard to clean and we did not like even standing in it. The rest of the bathroom is fine. We enjoyed our stay. Heat was fine, beds not so great and DVD player makes quite a bit of noise. We would come back if these things were fixed. Lovely few and like the peacefulness

Perfect place

We had a wonderful time! The house was absolutely perfect with everything we needed and we spent most of our time outside on the deck looking at the beautiful view. We definitely hope to come back to Georgetown Lake as we discovered there is so much to do. We would definitely rent this house again!

This was a really nice little cabin with all amenities including a washer and dryer. View from the deck was very nice. It is an older cabin which is a work in progress for the owners. Very nice to stay in now, even better in the future. One thing: access road is steep gravel. Our jeep handled it but other cars might have a problem.

Nice accommodations!

House is nice, clean, fully stocked and has a beautiful lake view. Owner John is a great host, very helpful and communicative. Larger bed could’ve been a tad more comfy but otherwise a great stay. Would definitely rent again.

Needs upgrading

The location was great for access to the lake. The owner responded right away when there were issues with connecting to the cable. However, the shower was very scary. It desperately needs to replaced. Even though it was cleaned, the permanent stains made me not want to use it. Parts of the house could use a deep clean and the comforters smelled like they had not been washed in awhile. Maybe comforters with duvets that could be washed after each guest would be a better option.

owner should really remove and replace the tub shower unit in this home as the shower head is installed really low and the tub is very dingy and flaking from an attempted refurbish years ago. the home has a very steep approach, bring chains in the winter. I wished I had been warned of the steep hill to get to the home. We spun out slid backwards and wrecked our truck box and bumper, it took three hours getting unstuck as we had to jackknife the truck trailer to stop. The dining room is small for larger groups and could use a larger dining table to accommodate winter guests. Summer guest could use the large deck as overflow. It would also help eliminate confusion if the dvd player where connected to the tv with an HDMI cord as everything runs through the old style red, white, yellow connections and its a real brain twister to get the different devices to play through the television. Also note that the bed mattresses are Extremely hard/firm like plywood. I have never slept on a mattress that firm so prepare yourself for that.

Great little house!

Messages were answered promptly. Older house but very clean and nicely decorated. Quiet neighborhood. Road getting in is steep and we had to fight ice and snow but we made it! Highly recommend!

My mother grew up in Anaconda and my Grandfather worked at the Smelter. As kids my brother and I came to visit our grandparents with our mother and father during the summer and always enjoyed the small town atmosphere. My grandfather built the house my mother grew up in Anaconda and it's still in the family. We decided to purchase the cabin at the lake so we could vacation and eventually spend more time here when we retire.

Voici ce qui rend cet hébergement unique

Georgetown Lake is one of Montana’s premier blue ribbon fisheries offering nearly year round angling for trophy rainbow and brook trout and kokanee salmon. Georgetown Lake and the surrounding mountains also provide excellent hunting. Elk, and both species of deer are the most desired. There are also permits for black bear, wolf, mountain lion, antelope and lottery drawings for sheep and moose. There are three golf courses close to Georgetown Lake. Fairmont Hot Springs Resort has an 18 hole par 72, 6742 yard course. Anaconda Country Club is a 9 hole course that is open to the public with bargain prices for membership and for green fees for non-members. Old Works Golf Course is a Jack Nicklaus signature course that has been repeatedly named by industry publications as one of the top rated public courses in the country.
