Beaucoup d'options de restauration, y compris locale, internationale et fine. C'est le joyau inconnu de Curaçao sous le radar! Des Caraïbes vraiment sans les touristes et le trafic.

300 pi2 à l'intérieur, terrasse couverte de 200 pi2 et terrasse ouverte de 250 pi2 - le tout sur un seul niveau. Le propriétaire a réalisé des projets de vitraux et d'art pour préparer le terrain.

Cette location en bord de mer comprend une entrée gratuite quotidienne au top 10 mondial, la plage de Cas Abou lorsque vous louez également le chalet! C'est juste au coin! Et, nous avons 2 belles chaises de plage, mat de plage et une glaciÚre, vous n'avez donc pas à les louer non plus!

Absolument unique sur toute l'ßle! Bord de mer, haut de falaise, chalet efficace parfait pour un célibataire ou un couple souhaitant profiter de la nature brute en toute intimité. Construit avec terrasse en bois vitrée, terrasse ombragée avec méridienne, terrasse / hamac en bord de mer et jardins indigÚnes. As a solo female traveler, I’ll first say that I felt incredibly safe at all times. The cottage is in a quiet, gated community with upscale homes. Don and Angie were the perfect hosts! I took advantage of the pre-stocked grocery service, which means I was able to drive straight from the airport, grab a drink from the fridge, and enjoy the AMAZING VIEWS from the very private patio. I had a front row seat for the most incredible sunsets and rainbows. Next up, snorkeling. What a treat to be able to walk down a few steps and straight into the most beautiful turquoise waters. With a reef just to the left, I saw so many coral and fish! A little to the right of the cottage, I saw a sea turtle and even an eel! The only “downside” to this is that the snorkeling at all the other beaches I visited paled in comparison when the best snorkeling was right out my back door! Lastly, the cottage is primarily an open air concept by day, which is fine because you won’t be in the cottage! Everything closes up at night and the AC is nice and cool. If you’re debating booking this cottage, just do it. It’s the perfect spot to do absolutely nothing but stare at the sea and/or the perfect home base for exploring the rest of this beautiful island.

This property is exactly as advertised, and we join those who rated it so highly. Indoors you have all you need, kitchen with all amenities, good AC, comfy bed. But it's outside that makes it special. A huge, beautiful deck with elevated views of clear ocean water and the most memorable sunsets. If you like snorkeling, this is perfect spot. Private steps down to the ocean, put on your mask and jump in. No tourists, super clear visibility, plenty of colorful fish. When you're done there's a refreshing saltwater plunge pool where you'll want to enjoy a cocktail or 2. The hosts, Angie and Don will give you so much information you'll know every restaurant, beach, snorkeling spot and place to shop on the island. Expect answers in minutes by email should you need anything. Despite all the places to go on Curacao, you won't want to leave this place. Secluded and perfect for a couple that truly wants to get away from it all. Yeah, we'll be back.

Incredible views!

We had an amazing stay at Ba-ooo! The ocean views were awesome! It was great waking up to the view and lots of birds visiting. The location couldn’t be beat to tour the west side of the island. However the best snorkeling was just off the property and to the left towards Cas Abou. Don and Angie were great. We’d definitely stay here again.

Beautiful bungalow

It was such a special experience my husband planned for my 40th birthday. The bungalow was so neat, with local art and eclectic touches. Dons place is the best lot in the subdivision. I enjoyed my morning coffee with the sunrise, the private chef Don reconnected to my husband for birthday dinner and swimming from our place to the beach around the corner.

We spent six nights at Casa Ba-ooo at the end of September for our first visit to Curaçao. It turned out the be a more remote part of the island for visiting some of the smaller beaches and soaking up some peace and quiet. It’s next door to the awesome beach of Cas Abou beach.The property is gorgeous, and it’s clear that the owners care about every detail. The cottage is on the small side but it is about outdoor living. We were there during a heat wave so even though the upper deck has lots of sitting it was too hot to sit on the upper deck. We spent all our time on the lower area with the pool and covered cabana. We snorkeled everyday right from the property. The pool overlooks the water and it was the perfect spot for a nightcap and to see the beautiful sunset. You can walk down the street from the house to a salt pan and see some flamingoes. The bed was a little on the hard side for us and the kitchen is well-equipped, but the outdoor living space is truly next level. Angie and Don were super responsive whenever we needed anything. We did the set up with Angie for my husband’s birthday & she did a great job. We did one of Angie’s morning nature hikes. Might have been a little more nature than we wanted but she was great with her dog Jade. I used Anouk the masseuse who comes to the property - honestly one of the best deep tissue massages I’ve had. I can recommend Cas Ba-ooo if you are looking for a relaxing and restful trip but don’t forget sunscreen & bug spray!

Amazing oceanfront bungaloo in Curacao

My wife and I just returned from Curacao after a week stay at this amazing oceanfront cottage. First, the pictures do not do it justice. All pictures are accurate. It is directly on the water. The oceanfront plunge pool was great and we watched multiple sunsets from there. We did scuba diving right off the property and saw 2 octopi, squids, numerous fish and eels. The place was perfect size of us, king size bed, shower with great water pressure (a plus for me), and a full kitchen. The host was very communicative. Gave great recommendations.Would highly recommend.

Fantastic location

This small cottage is just what you need when you want to relax in a private way. No children, just the sounds of the waves and the birds. And those views! Everything you need is there. Don't expect luxury here though, but what else do you need? Finally, Don and Angie are so helpful in making your stay wonderful. Thank you!

Best views on the island

We were so pleased with our entire Stay. Don was super communicative before and during our stay. He provided an entire list of things to see and do which cut out hours of research as this was our first time here. We visited so many beautiful beaches, but both agree that the snorkeling and view from the property were the best of anywhere on the island. We rented a car and did so much exploring. One of our favorite vacations of all time. I can not say enough about this property and our experience.

Paradise!

We had an incredible stay at Ba-ooo. The views from the deck were breathtaking and the perfect spot to watch the tropical birds and the sunsets. The decor and artistic detail put into the cottage was beautiful. The cottage was well stocked with everything we needed for our stay. We also enjoyed using the lower deck palapa and pool area. It was great to have some of the best snorkeling right at our doorstep. Don was very helpful and all of his restaurant, hiking and sight-seeing recommendations were spot-on. We can't wait to return!

This is a special place. The view from the deck is amazing; it feels as if you are floating above the water. Don and Angie are terrific hosts who were available for anything we needed. The cottage is well equipped and comfortable. Don provided a great information packet that was an invaluable guide to hiking, eating, and beaches. And the beaches — fabulous! We went to a different beach everyday and they were all so wonderful. If you are looking for crystal clear blue water, great and easy snorkeling, peace and quiet away from crowds and resorts, this is your place!

Heaven on Earth

The property was truly paradise. We enjoyed every moment of our stay. The house and the outside living space was perfect for two people. The views from the patio were beyond magnificent. We enjoyed 2 morning hikes with Angie. We loved exploring this beautiful island with her. She shared so much interesting information with us. Prior to our arrival, Don provided us with detail information, extremely helpful. Don was very quick to respond to any need that may arise, no matter how small. Don and Angie are fabulous hosts. We parted with so many fond memories. We highly recommend this property to other quests.

Great and Quiet Stay

What can I say...what a great play to stay! Don was a great host and very helpful but the highlight is the location and the house. It is in a beautiful location with AMAZING views, it has a private plunge pool, it has a private deck, and private Palapa! What is not to love! The house is within a easy drive to a lot of great beaches but it was nice to just come back at the end of the day and sit on the deck and watch the waves. ***On what could be purely preference, I do wish the bed was a bit softer but otherwise we loved our stay and defiantly would stay there again or at one of Don's other locations!***

Bom Dia, what a Place! Simply Amazing!

-Amazing views all day (each meal) -Rest and Relax at its finest -The place is very homey -Sunsets are out of this world (in chest dip ocean water on property is the best) -Its Private, you can do your thing -Locals are helpful and kind (we digged Willowwood Bar) -Locals can change languages very fast, its real amazing -Many gorgeous beaches close to the place, but we would always end up back at our private place (home) - Location for sunset (amazing again) -Snorkeling out of this world (at all beaches and at home) again home is the best -Talk to Don about what local places to shop for your food and booze (Polar, good) Don is good man -The fruit is good there and comes in handy - This was a fantastic vacation. thanks!

Excellent!

There is not much more I can add that has not already been said. This is the place if you want to kick back, relax and get away from the world. We spent three weeks here and would wholeheartedly recommend it. The cottage is clean, has everything you might need for a short or long stay, kitchen is well stocked, the deck is private and the view is breath taking. Whether you are diving, sight seeing or just there to enjoy a book in the sun, the location of this cottage cannot be beaten. Don is helpful and available for everything you may need or require, and I know it has been said before but his notes about beaches, dive sites and restaurants really is excellent. We hope to be back and perhaps stay longer the next time. You have a great cottage Don, we had an absolutely wonderful time.

I want SO badly to keep this place our little secret because it is that AMAZING but that would be such a disservice to Don and Angie. We absolutely loved every minute of our stay - even when the whole island lost power for a few hours. Don and Angie are wonderful hosts - very communicative and knowledgeable. Read your welcome packet and take their suggestions - everything from restaurants to beaches and everything in between that they suggested was top notch! You don’t need to leave the house unless you want to because it literally has everything. The bed was comfortable, the views were spectacular, and the experience was unforgettable. Some of our best snorkeling was right out from the house. We are sitting in the airport heading home writing this review and trying to figure out when we can come back!

Amazing Sunsets and Shooting Stars!

We stayed at Cas Ba-ooo for the last 4 nights of a 12 day stay on Curaçao. The Cottage was everything we hoped it would be, its artistic decor was very pleasing. The view from the kitchen window is amazing, like you're looking at a painting but its real! With pelicans flying by the deck, orioles singing to us, iguanas coming for a visit and being able to snorkel right off the steps to the ocean we felt close to nature. The highlight of this cottage began every night just before sunset. The sunsets and stargazing were spectacular! Don and Angie were very down to earth and very informative for things to do in this area of the island. We really enjoyed this area and the beach next door Cas Aboa. Don suggested on our last day to go for lunch at Landhuis Daniel and we enjoyed it very much. Thankyou for a wonderful vacation and hope to see you again soon.

Basically paradise

Not much to add that hasn’t already been said! The place is paradise and considerably more spectacular in person than photos can capture. Don and Angie are friendly, worldly, highly-available hosts. If you’re wondering, as I was, what the immediate surroundings are like: yes the house has properties on either side, but one side contains an unfinished villa and the other side is a tucked-away property managed by the same owner as this one. The place is totally private; any would-be sight lines to the neighbors are obscured by fences, geography, or foliage. It feels like your own slice of the island once you’re on the property; doesn’t even feel like it’s in a neighborhood at all. Totally unforgettable stay. The picturesque Carribbean experience we all daydream about.

Started diving again and fell in love with the island, bought a property and built a little cottage for the first time in my life. It's been a special journey and I like to share it. Introducing people to Curacao and, specifically, to Banda Abou is a very fun part of my life. This is a special place with an incredible unspoiled natural vibration that you wake up to and when the moon is right or the breeze hits you properly it can make for a magical, magical experience!
