À seulement 9 km de la ville de Sicamous, cette retraite de vacances au lac Mara est un endroit parfait pour des vacances en famille - pour se détendre et profiter du lac. La propriété dispose d'un foyer, d'un barbecue, d'une table de ping-pong couverte, d'un pont inférieur et d'un pont supérieur, d'arbres fruitiers, d'un patio en pierre, d'un bain à remous, d'une douche extérieure et d'un grand parking. Situé en face de la rampe de mise à l'eau et de la plage de sable sur le lac Mara. Deux kayaks sont disponibles, mais veuillez apporter vos propres gilets de sauvetage.
Il existe de nombreuses activités à proximité: Hyde Mountain Golf Course, randonnée pédestre, Drive-In Movie Theater à Enderby, vignobles, Quad Trails et Mini Golf.
La propriété pourra accueillir 10 personnes confortablement. Il a 3 chambres et un canapé-lit queen dans la grande salle à l'étage, 2 salles de bain complètes, buanderie récemment rénovée, lave-vaisselle. Les draps, le savon à lessive, les ustensiles de cuisine, les produits de nettoyage et les épices sont fournis.
Si vous avez plus de 10 personnes, nous avons un chalet récemment rénové dans l'arrière-cour de la propriété. C'est 300 pieds carrés avec 3 chambres.(salle de bain, salon / cuisine et chambre) 1 chambre avec lit double et lits jumeaux, salle de bain avec douche, WC et lavabo, laveuse / sécheuse / TV connectée. Nous facturons 100 $ par nuit supplémentaire pour le chalet. Si cela vous intéresse, faites-le moi savoir lors de votre demande.

Lake house

The property was good. We had 7 adults and 3 small children. Lots of room. The upstairs had tv couches,day bed and futon bed. Great for the children to play away from us. They had lots of toys, books for the children. A short walk to the beach. The one problem was not enough outside garbage cans we had to take the garbage to the dump ourselves once it was full. Would stay again.

We really enjoyed our time at Swansea Point . The size of the house and yard exceeded our expectations. The cottage was also cute at a button . The highlight was being so close to the lake . We look forward to our next stay there !

Moms getaway!

We had a fabulous time. Our group was 6 ladies and there was plenty of room for all of us. The covered ping pong table, fire pit and hot tub were great to have on the cool weekend we had. The house was clean, lots of kitchen appliances/spices etc. and the owners were fabulous to deal with. Alison was quick to respond and answered all of our questions! We arrived to the house with a bottle of wine for our group. It was a perfect place for our vacation. Thank you!!

Fabulous place

Great house to stay in, very large and can fit lots of people comfortably! The yard was beautiful and had lots of things to do such as, hot tubbing, ping pong, or relaxing on the hammock, etc. Having a two minute walk to the beach was amazing, made it easy for you to stay at home while your kids were out. A very beautiful home!

We stayed at this property the week of July 21, 2018. The home is quite large and very clean and is well stocked which made our stay quite enjoyable. Overall we had an excellent time and can't wait for our next family vacation next year.

Great area close to the beach. Huge back yard.

The house was well stocked with everything you could possibly need to cook with. All you need to bring is your food. We had a Christmas dinner in July with all the trimmings and had everything we needed to cook it. There was tons of room for all of our family. Huge kitchen and living room with comfortable couches for the down times. There was loads of games (new & older) to keep us all amused. 2 nice big decks and a huge BBQ. Awesome wifi in the cabin and it even worked outside. Lots of beds and beautiful linens and more than enough for all of them. Backyard was beautiful. All kinds of fruit trees and very well thought out. Nice big clean hot tub. Overall we had a great family time here and will definitely be back.

Beautiful and peaceful!

We had a wonderful stay in June. The cabin owners were helpful, accommodating, informative and quick to respond to any needs or questions. The cabin is just like home. It is equipped with everything and anything you would need. We had a family of 8, including grandparents, kids and grand kids. We each had our own spaces as the cabin is very spacious. The scenery is breath taking! The neighbours are quiet and we came home very relaxed. The only negative thing I would have to say is that it was tricky to get all the bedding washed and dried before check out at noon, as we had 5 different beds that were used. That being said, we accomplished it. I'm sure the owners would have been accommodating if we weren't able to complete in time. We would love to visit this cabin and area in the future. Lots to see and do!

We realise that there can be lots of bedding to wash and hope that having duplicate sheets for all the beds help. We will also be installing a larger capacity washer and dryer this fall. Fantastic stay at Swansea Point

We really enjoyed our vacation at Mara Lake. The house is very spacious and well supplied! It didn't matter if the weather was cloudy or sunny there was always something to do because of all the house amenities. The hot tub and firepit were wonderful to have right in the backyard. Many beaches to choose from within walking distance. Hope to make it an annual vacation!

Beautiful and well kept home

This home has everything! The kitchen has every utensil imaginable. Large living room with comfy couches. All the beds were comfortable with new pillows and nice linens. The outdoor hot tub was an added bonus on the not so nice days. There were 2 adults and 4 children and we had lots of space. Huge BBQ. Big back yard for playing outdoor games. We also were able to use a few things out of the garden! Fresh tomatoes, strawberries and cucumbers. The beach is only a 2 minute walk and is quite nice. Clean warm water for swimming. Close to the town of Sicamouse that has a great grocery store and a few fun things to do with the kids like Dutchmen dairy and mini golf. Also only 45 minutes to Vernon or Salmon Arm. And 1 hour to Revelstoke. I will definitely be booking this home again!

Alison grew up in England and Brad grew up in Edmonton but vacationed in this region for many years as a small boy. We currently live in Calgary and our three children live close by. We had vacationed in this area numerous times and our dream was to own a vacation property near Mara Lake. This property was perfect for us because it is large enough for large family gatherings, very close to the beach and Mara Lake.

We discovered this property in the fall of 2008 and saw a potential for making it into a great vacation home. We have spent many hours renovating and painting to make it feel like home.

This property is perfect for a large family or extended family because it has many different sitting/ visiting areas of the house to find your own space and yet all be together. The backyard is huge and beautiful to relax in and we are just steps from the beautiful Mara Lake and sandy beach.
