Ferme avec propre piscine privée pleine de caractère et de charme

Situé dans le petit village pittoresque de Munxar se trouve cette ancienne ferme jumelée de 300 ans avec piscine privée et toutes les commodités modernes.
Au-delà du salon se trouvent la piscine, la terrasse et le bar-B-Q avec des vues spectaculaires sur la vallée de «Lunzjata» et «Xlendi», un ciel bleu et la ligne d'horizon de Gozitan.
L'addition de 2016 est la terrasse / salon de 75 m² qui donne également sur la vue sur la vallée.
Situé en pleine campagne mais à quelques minutes de toutes les commodités avec un décor méditerranéen de bon goût, on peut vraiment profiter du meilleur des deux mondes.
Munxar est idéalement situé à quelques minutes de la capitale de Gozo «Victoria» (où se trouvent toutes les banques, magasins, boutiques et supermarchés) et à quelques minutes de la magique «Xlendi Bay». Les activités à Xlendi comprennent la location de bateaux, la plongée sous-marine et d'autres sports nautiques. Xlendi est également l'endroit où se trouvent certains des meilleurs restaurants de l'île et vous pouvez dîner aux chandelles sur les terrasses à quelques centimètres de la plage sous un ciel clair, bleu et méditerranéen.

Beautiful house, beautiful surroundings, beautifully kept garden and pool. Everything you need is in the property and the gas BBQ was great. Air con up stairs is great and there is also a few standing fans provided.Easy to walk to many places and Bolt and Uber are available cheap. Host Jeff was great and answered any questions quickly Cant recommend enough!!!

We love this place it is cosy and full of character. The rooms are huge and watching the sun go down is magical. There are good shops, restaurants and beaches nearby so we really find it home from home. Would highly recommend it.

Great holidays

The property is completly aligned with the description. If I can do a recommandation, it would be nice to have a dishwasher and an air conditioning. Concerning Jeff and his wife, we can confirm that they are great and very welcoming.

Just as listed, but so peaceful. Pool a life saver in the heatwave. Stand fans alongside ceiling fans really helped too. Jeff and Mariella were really helpful with what to do and where. Not intrusive but there for advice. Thank you!

Just as beautiful as the photos look

We loved this place! It was just as beautiful as it looks in the listing. The view from the patio was so lovely and we spent endless time out there. Even though the pool doesn’t get direct sun in November, we swam every day anyway (we’re from NY so we’re used to chilly water!). Little grocery store is about 6 blocks away, and the walk down to Xlendi Bay is very doable. Jeff and Mariella were very helpful and responsive hosts and answered all our messages quickly, and made the check-in process a breeze. If you are looking for a quiet, clean, peaceful, beautiful getaway, this is a great spot.

Always have a wonderful time at Bebbux

We have been there during the summer so we thought we would go for Christmas. The house is so Christmassy with lit candles and we brought some decorations and it looked great. We decided to cook as everything we wanted was available locally. We wanted a quiet Christmas but there was still lots to do and see. The weather was colder than expected but the owners made sure there was plenty of heaters available. If you are thinking of a Christmas or winter break I would definitely recommend it.

2 lovely weeks at farmhouse Bebbux

Farmhouse Bebbux is a clean and admirable place to spend perfect holidays on Gozo. We found everything as described and in case of difficulties the owner and his team (housekeeper) provide the necessary service. This property is absolutely recommendable to all my friends and relatives. Regrettably the house does not have sea view or access, however the pool can compensate for it. For Divers I recommend Utina dive College at Xlendi (small groups and very friendly people). Tatita's Restaurant in St. Lawrence is the best place for eating (delicious food and professional service!).

Clean character home with stunning view!

My husband and I chose to vacation on Gozo for our 20th anniversary in May 2016. Jeff kindly met us at the airport as planned and we exchanged payment and keys. The house is in Munxar, a sleepy little town about an hour away by car and ferry. The house is very typical of the island and well renovated and kept. Thick stone walls and a steep spiral staircase are charming and the high ceilings upstairs are lovely. The kitchen is equipped with everything you need for cooking during your stay. Although the pool was beautiful, it was a little cool for swimming most of the week we were there. The patio is lovely and provides stunning views of the nearby town. We spent many hours outside relaxing. We also walked to Xlendi for dinner several times so that we could share some wine and not worry about driving afterward. It's a good walk down to the water (3km?) and the hike back up to Munxar always helped us get a good night's rest! I highly recommend Jeff and Mariella's villa for a very quiet and peaceful holiday. There are very few amenities in the quaint town of Munxar, however, so a car was essential for us. Don't forget to visit the amazing Sanaa cliffs nearby!

Very nice property however.....

The overall stay at this property was Good..The house is charming as stated. However I would like to point out that 2 of the bedrooms are towards the street side and because of the closure of one of the main streets to Xlendi; all of the traffic is diverted thru this street and there was lots of traffic all night long until 4:30am which made it very difficult to sleep. This street also leads down to the 2 Discos Paradise and La Grotto which is near Xlendi... It was also extremely HOT at night in the 2 upstairs bedrooms which during the Hot summer months can become very uncomfortable at night when you are not used to sleeping in the Heat. There is a ceiling fan and other fans in the house, but there was no relief...Luckily on the second night which was Sunday there was less traffic at night since the clubs were closed and there was a little breeze which helped. I would have appreciated to have A/C in the bedrooms at least which one could pay extra for if you wish. The Pool and Garden area was fantastic and well kept. The pool is very deep and with kids one should be very careful. A small dishwasher would be welcome with a big family or a group of more then 2 persons washing dishes could be a nerving chore on your holidays. I would definitely recommend this property and it has its charm as stated.

"Le logement de type farmhouse (maison ancienne en pierre de taille) est situé à proximité de tous les centres d''activité ( station balnéaire et centre de Victoria à 5mn en voiture), il dispose d''une grande terrasse avec piscine avec vue panomarique sur la ville de Victoria, la maison dispose d''un équipement électroménager complet, incluant lave linge et séchoir. Les chambres ( 3) spacieuses sont disposées sur 2 niveaux, et ont chacune leur salle de bain ou cabinet de toilette privatif. Aucun commentaire particulier sur la propreté, les draps sont changés une fois par semaine ( nous sommes restés 2 semaines). le propriétaire est en relation avec une agence de location de voiture qui assure le transfert AR depusi l''aéroport ainsi que la mise à disposition du véhicule au lieu de la location.L''assistance et le service fournis par le propriétaire sont impeccables. Endroit idéla pour les séjours en famille avec enfants."

A beautiful rustic farmhouse.

We had a great holiday in Munxar, and for anyone looking for a relaxing holiday, Bebbux would be a great choice. Whilst the pool is not huge, it was fantastic on the hot days, many of which we spent lounging on the lovely big sun terrace. Thanks Jeff for a lovely holiday.

Peaceful, rustic, quirky & short walk to local towns

This villa is lovely, especially if you like traditional.. it is situated in a small, very friendly village with views across the fields and main road into Victoria. There is a small, well stocked supermarket five minutes walk away and is a 20-30 mins hilly but pleasant walk from Victoria, through the village of Fontana. There is also a bus stop 5-10 mins stroll away where you can catch a bus to the bus station in Victoria. The approx 8’ deep pool is much smaller than the picture indicates but this wasn’t a problem for us. The villa does smell a bit damp and the drains from the hand basins aren’t great, we reported this to the owner and a ‘man’ was sent the same day to try to resolve this... not sure the problem did resolve but again it didn’t really spoil our stay as we were outside a lot. We met the owner toward the end of our holiday but he had given us lots of information by email prior to our arrival. A map to the bus stop and bus numbers into town would have been useful in the info in the villa. We arrived just after 1pm on a Sunday and the supermarket had just closed, it would have been helpful to have had milk in the fridge/welcome pack. We were left a very small cheese round and a small packet of crackers and there was tea/coffee in the cupboards. There’s not really anything to do in Munxar, it’s really a residential village but it’s pretty and close to bus/walking routes to Xlendi and Victoria. Overall we had a very lovely time. Gozo is gorgeous.
