Le Starfish Cottage est l'endroit idéal pour se détendre pour votre prochaine escapade. Situé dans le quartier Pierpont de Ventura, juste à l'ouest de l'autoroute 101, entre le parc d'État de San Buenaventura et la marina. Cet emplacement idéal offre le meilleur de Ventura.

Les pistes cyclables vous emmèneront le long des sentiers de l'océan jusqu'à Santa Barbara ou vers l'est jusqu'à Ojai. Les restaurants sont à distance de marche de l'étoile de mer. La Marina a le meilleur magasin de bikini avec des restaurants bien établis.

Dirigez-vous sur l'autoroute vers le vieux centre-ville de Ventura pour faire du shopping ou dîner. Découvrez les magasins de revente, les bars à vin, et toutes les merveilleuses entreprises locales.

La cuisine du chalet a tout ce dont vous avez besoin pour cuisiner. Notre grand patio extérieur est confortable et spacieux. Notre maison est située sur le côté nord - ou le côté ensoleillé des ruelles - de sorte que vous obtiendrez de belles brises du matin et le soleil de l'après-midi.

Sortez de la porte d'entrée pour moins de 2 minutes à pied de la plage. Toutes les voies Pierpont se terminent à la State Beach.

Nous avons récemment acheté un tout nouveau lit king size pour la chambre des maîtres. La deuxième chambre a un ensemble de lits jumeaux super confortables. Il y a un tout nouveau canapé-lit queen et un simple aérobed de rechange (au cas où quelqu'un a besoin d'un lit supplémentaire). Tous les draps sont 6-400 draps en coton avec des édredons en duvet, des jetés et des couvertures pour votre confort.

Une douche extérieure est disponible pour laver le sable de vous-même et vos costumes avant d'aller à l'intérieur. Une petite quantité de sable peut obstruer les tuyaux et les drains.

La cuisine est entièrement équipée avec des plats (intérieur et extérieur) pour vos besoins. Nous avons un grille-pain, mijoteuse, Vitamix, bouilloire, Mocca Master Coffee Pot, des épices, des condiments et tout ce qui est dans le réfrigérateur est libre d'utiliser.

Tous les articles de plage sont stockés dans le Tuff Shed derrière la porte de l'est. Les vélos peuvent être stockés derrière la porte verrouillée. Le hangar est plein de serviettes de plage, chaises, parasols et autres articles de plage que vous n'aurez pas à emballer.

This house is wonderful! It's small but the open concept makes is feel bigger. It is well appointed and very comfy. We (and our dog) loved the backyard, it feels private and the landscaping is beautiful. Very close to the beach. Bunnie was great to work with. This is the 3rd house we've rented at this beach and it is definitely our favorite, we will be back!

Beautiful beach/ ocean vacation

The owner was great. She really wanted us to enjoy ourselves. Great location and really nicely decorated. The rooms were comfortable and everything was so clean and organized. There was a lot of beach chairs, towels and play toys. And a really nice backyard with a big lawn. We will be back.

Ventura beach cottage

I took my three kids for their summer vacation to Ventura, rented a fun car, and thought it would be relatively quiet time. Instead it was daily walks down the block to the beach, outings for food, making delicious dinners at home on the outdoor bbq and generally being super happy. The location and house itself definitely made the trip. Thank you again Bunnie. Would highly recommend this stay to anyone.

Perfect house for family get away

We loved every minute of our Ventura stay! Location is close to the beach and the Pierpoint neighborhood. A short drive has you in downtown Ventura but everything you need is walking diatance.

Nice place in Ventura

Beds were comfy, house was clean, area was quiet, host was responsive, beach and sunset was just a walk away. We did have to drive to destinations like restaurants or touristy places, except for beach.

Cozy Cottage in Ventura

There are only good things to say about the Starfish Cottage-from communication with the owner to the cleanliness of this rental. Plenty of room for 4 adults & 1 child We can’t wait to return!

Cozy ocean breezes

The cottage is a short walk to the beach which wasn’t crowded at all. Walking distance to restaurants and quick drive to the marina. Loved the beautifully landscaped garden. Highly recommend, would love to return for another visit.

Beach Cottage Perfection!

This property fit our vacation needs perfectly! From the attentiveness of the host, the quaint and clean cottage with amenities, the beautiful backyard and proximity to both the beach and nearby restaurants, this adorable cottage exceeded our expectations! I definitely want to return again!

It was a perfect cottage for our family. Close to Ventura downtown, close to LA, close to Santa Barbara, and above all close to the beach. We had wonderful time there. The host was very helpful, and the cottage was cozy with beautiful backyard.

The Pierpont area has so much to offer at such a fabulous location. Biking, running, walking and just hanging at the beach seem too good to be true. You will find yourself wanting to come back year after year to this truly wonderful town.

We have a personal connection to the area as our grandkids attend Pierpont School and get to skateboard, scooter or bike to school every day. Having family living just up the street adds to our pleasure of owning in Pierpont.

We love opening our home to our guests so they can fall in love with the area just like we did. There is something magical about going out your front door and having sand under your feet in less than 2 minutes. Whether you are having coffee in the morning or wine while watching the sunset, your stress will just float away.

Voici pourquoi l’hôte a choisi cet hébergement

We feel so fortunate to have found one of the original cottages from the 1950's. The history of the area fascinated us. The Keys area which is adjacent to Pierpont used to be a small airport until the 60's. Pierpont was actually all dunes in the 50's just like the ones you will see at the beach. Developers decided to flatten the dunes and build the small cottages, but Mother Nature didn't like that idea. To this day the winds rebuild the dunes which you will get to experience for yourself exploring the area. Walk or bike to the pier and check out Surfer's Point, Seaside Park (where the State Fair is in August) and the Amtrak station.

Ventura's downtown area has restaurants, resale shops, wine bars, music and much more. There is a farmer's market downtown every Saturday and one at the mall on Wednesdays. The Ventura Mall has lots of shops including Macy's, Trader Joes, Bev Mo and much more. Over on the east side of the 101 off Telephone road is Barnes & Noble, Pier One, Kohl's and a strip of eateries. On the west side of the 101 is Target, BBB, Winco Grocery, local restaurants and a great wine bar. Just off Main close to downtown is Peet's Cafe for the best breakfast in Ventura. Our property is modeled after what we have personally enjoyed when we rent vacation homes. The thought "I wish we thought of that or we should do that" has been incorportated into our vacation home. We have taken all the personal touches others have put in place for our comfort and brought them into our home. We hope you find "The Starfish Cottage" so special you don't want to leave.
