It was all in all really good. The Villa is beautiful and also the view from the pool! The Host is also always there to help you and the stay was just perfect.

Amazing quiet location

Incredible house, location and host

We had a family of 12 stay here for a week. The location is simply perfect for those who want peace and tranquility along with gorgeously insane views while being close to the old town and other areas. The house is perfectly stocked. Ivana is an incredible host with incredible communication skills and very timely reactions to requests. The area is super safe and just heavenly. Can’t wait to come back.

Perfect Villa

My friends and I booked this villa for a long weekend and had a great time. The host was great, the house was huge and had plenty of areas to relax and play games with friends. The pool area had plenty of comfortable pool chairs to lay in while soaking up the sun. Great place to stay!! Great transportation that came with the villa. The driver knew all the great spots to eat and explore.

Ivana was amazing from beginning to end! 14 of us stayed to celebrate my hen party !My best friend co ordinated it along with Ivana and just complimented her above and beyond helpfulness! Everyone had an incredible time and the views really are so much better in person!Only down side was taxis were not keen to go up “the mountain” so would advise car hire here for ease!

A wonderful holiday

We had a wonderful stay in Villa Kate. Ivana was a fantastic host who made the check in and check out process quick and easy. She even had some food and wine waiting for us on arrival and answered any questions we had during our trip very promptly. The area is absolutely beautiful and we would love to visit again.

Great location and view. Our host was wonderful about flexibility for check in and check out. But the property is becoming run down in a few areas and really needs attention. The porch roof for the outdoor porch eating area is collapsing and being held up by a pole, pool tiles are coming off with every use, there's a shattered glass panel around the pool, pool level outdoor cooking area needs deep cleaning and side pizza oven area filled with trash, stove in one of the apartments wasn't working, moldy washing machine detergent trays and the bathroom that the washer is in smelled of mold. Small appliances in the kitchen we used require extension cords to a wall plug, some uncovered electrical outlets. AC water standing on walkways.

Great stay at Villa Kate

We had a wonderful week as a group of two families (kids aged 10-12) at the villa. The view is incredible, even better than the photos and an absolute joy to wake up to. Ivana was excellent before and during our stay…for example she sent excursion ideas and private chef menus in advance and a very helpful video on finding the villa on arrival. Mlini is lovely with some excellent restaurants. Lots of watersports on offer and we enjoyed getting the boat to Dubrovnik and Cavtat (both around 25 mins and avoids the tricky parking situ). Be aware it is a very steep 15 minute step based climb to the villa from the beach…I personally loved it but it is challenging and would be tricky if you have very little ones or older guests/those less able, so worth noting.

Simply The Best

This Villa is just amazing and the views are spectacular. We were a group of 9 ladies and the Villa was ideal for us, it’s separated into 3 apartments and a studio with everything you need in each one so there’s loads of space for any quite time and plenty of communal space for getting together and partying. Nothing is too much for Ivana and her team from organising a chef (the lovely Nick) to cook a special meal for us, to organising trips to Montenegro with our lovely guide Joseph and to sending drivers for us when we were to lazy to walk back from the beach. They go above and beyond to make your holiday memorable, nothing is to much. We cannot thank all of them enough for making our 60th year.

Ok but many Challenge

Good welcome We have challenges with toilet and shower and drain in the shower, cubicle was not working. The Electric relay was not repaired. The trash was overflowing bit was emptied uppen request. Swimmingpool tiles were broken and ole og our grandchildren was damaged. The communication was not satisfied, but the handymand come 3 times for solve the problem. Best regards Pia og Christiansen

Villa Kate Mlini

Thank you for your hospitality and your beautiful house! The sea view from the pool was amazing, all rooms were nice and clean, well equiped kitchen, enough seating for a big group on the terrace and by the pool side, transfer arrangements to and from the airport also worked very well. The weather forecast wasn’t too good, but Ivana managed to take care of that also :) We highly recommend! Thank you!

Unforgettable stay

We can’t say enough positive things about our stay! The house, garden, pool and views are spectacular. We were a group of 13 people including adults and kids and we really enjoyed having big enough spaces for all of us while at the same time being able to enjoy the privacy of ones own room and kitchen. Ivana is the most amazing host who replies incredibly fast to any inquiries and she managed to solve all our requests including organizing an unforgettable boat trip and lunch by the water. She seems to have the most unique contacts because we would never been able to find the spots she recommended. We can’t leave this review without saying thank you to the best driver in the country, Yusip! He was a blast to speak to and similar to Ivana, very fast in his replies and picked us up whenever we needed. He definitely brought so much joy and laughter! This is one of the best trips we’ve had and we highly recommend anyone to go, families or friends or both. Thank you Ivana!

Beautiful hilltop villa with amazing views

We really enjoyed staying at this property. It is truly stunning. The villa is high up so expect a steady climb to and from the town centre (the climb is not suitable for pushchairs and those with mobility issues). You may need a hire car or a driver to get to and from the town centre (Ivana, the amazing hostess, can arrange a good driver). Mlini and Sbreno are truly beautiful with good facilities and excellent (pebble) beaches. We didn’t have a single bad meal at any of the restaurants. Ivana can arrange a chef and food too - we found her to be a very attentive hostess. Pool is a bit cold but refreshing on very hot days. Beware of cats at the property if you have allergies etc. would recommend this villa for sure.

A beautiful villa in the perfect location

Villa Kate could not have been more perfect for our group of 11. It is a beautiful villa, perched high on the mountain overlooking the Dubrovnik coastline. Very comfortable bedrooms, and ample living spaces (including 4 kitchens) gave us all the opportunity to spend time together, or have quiet time apart. Everything was well stocked and we needed for nothing. The villa is about a 15-20 minute drive to old Dubrovnik. When booking, I had concerns about this, but it turned out to be perfect. It was an easy uber ride to anything we needed (many places in walking distance). But the best part was the incredible views the location afforded. Just spectacular! Lounging by the pool, looking out at the ocean and spectacular landscape, was incredible. The pool area had very comfortable furniture, umbrellas, bathroom, and a fridge to stock your drinks in, so you could easily settle in for a while. Ivana was an incredible host. She greeted us on arrival and gave us a tour of the house. She provided us with her number, and was accessible for ordering transport, tours and food delivery. Anything we needed to know, she was there to help, which was very useful as we were not familiar with Dubrovnik. If I was to make one complaint (and it's a very minor one) - as it got very windy at night we had to keep our doors and windows shut (a lot of door slamming going on otherwise), so a few fans to circulate the air would be nice. But this is really minor - when you are in paradise, it's easy to overlook this. Our vacation was a very special gathering of family and friends, and Villa Kate was the perfect place for us to further build our memories together. Thank you Ivana!!! Craig - Dallas TX

Beautiful Mlini

This is a special property. The view is magnificent. You cannot find a better hostess than Ivana. She arranged our transfers from the airport and to the port where we caught the catamaran to Hvar. She even drove into Dubrovnik to pick up our tickets. If we needed anything it was done immediately. Mlini is only a short ride to Dubrovnik about 100 kuna for 4 and 150 kuna for 7 by Uber. Don’t try driving because parking is difficult to find and expensive. The bus is 18 kuna each way but make sure you know where to get off because it does not go down to the old town. If you call Uber in Dubrovnik you must walk up the street from the Pile gate to the Hilton. The Uber drivers are not allowed to stop outside gate. Mlini itself has good beaches and restaurants and a large supermarket. About 35 kuna back to the Villa. If you want a day to relax, for 95 kuna you can rent 2 sun beds and an umbrella. Easy walk down not so easy back up. However everyone in our group is over 60 and we all did it. The Villa has 3 separate levels each with their own kitchen plus a small studio apartment. Lots of space to get away if you want to alone. The pool area great area to cool off at the end of the day. I can’t say enough about Villa Kate and Ivana

We travelled here with 4 families and it was perfect! The pool was so much fun and the villa layout was so accommodating for our group. Nicely appointed kitchen, and great linens. The views from the deck are spectacular!!

Amazing experience and stupendous property!

I cannot speak more highly about Ivana, her friend Nikolina and her property. Together Ivana and Nikolina made our stay overly special from recommendations to finalizing minute details and picking up a birthday cake from down town Dubrovnik for us. They were in one single word AMAZING! The property is beyond gorgeous - the pool, the scenic overlook over the Adriatic sea and the apartments were perfect! One minor thing if I have to say - is with it being on a mountain side, the road to the property is narrow and steep. Driving on that road scared me. However, we have already decided we will visit again. Our stay was three days and way too short. I would come back for a week and just enjoy the scenic overlook and the hospitality. Thank you for everything.

Breath taking view from lovely villa with big pool

The views are breath taking and the villa is very spacious. There are 5 double beds and 1 twin room so it sleeps 12 comfortably. Ivana is delightful - very helpful but not at all pushy. It’s a steep walk into the village but Uber taxis are plentiful so it is easy to walk down to restaurant/bar/supermarket and then Uber back if you feel lazy! We had a wonderful holiday and loved the villa and the whole area.The pool is perfect and there are plenty of loungers and a great bbq plus loo and fridge right by the pool.

FABULOUS STAY! Highly recommend !

Fantastic week staying at Villa Kate. Ivana greeted us on arrival and showed us everything we needed to know regarding the villa and surrounding areas. She was extremely helpful and willing to help in anyway. She even text during the stay to see if we needed anything. It was very reassuring to have someone so helpful especially having 2 young children. The villa was stunning, it’s split into 3 spectate floors which was great for us as were able to keep the kids away from our family at night (great for their ears!) The pool area is stunning and we thoroughly enjoyed sitting and playing down there with the kids most days. My only fault is the steps for young children, a bit of a drop on the other side but they were never walking alone so we were fine. OH AND THE VIEW. JUST BEAUTIFUL! The beds were really comfortable and the temperature of the villa was perfect. Many different balconies and places to chill so everybody had a little place to themselves if they needed a time out. It was a fantastic family holiday and we would 100% return! Thank you for a truly lovely stay! GG

Beautiful Views!

Waking up to a beautiful view everyday could only put a smile in your face and in your heart. Beautiful outdoor area, and balconies throughout the house to enjoy the views from the inside and/or the outside. Ivanna and Josip were the most helpful hosts, they were responsive, helped us with reservations, restaurant recommendations, where to go, what to do, and just were always available for anything that we needed. While the Villa is around 20 minutes from Dubrovnik, it's centrally located in a lovely village of Mlini, and in many ways it was nice to be away from the town center. We had no parking issues! Villa is perfect for large group providing everyone with plenty of privacy. We highly recommend the property!

Perfect Villa - Highly Recommended

We went as a group of six and booked this way back in January. Communication with Ivana was constant and great. We were picked up from the airport and taken back at the end of our stay for a small fee which was definitely worth it. The villa itself is tucked away up a windy road but it's breathtaking once you get there. It's EXACTLY as the pictures show with three floors all with their own bathrooms and kitchen. We used all the facilities including the pool, games room and BBQ. Ivana was a brilliant host as was Josip who were always just a call or text away even for trips to old town, the shops or for pizza. Old town is about 10 mins drive away but there is a medium size shopping complex within walking distance. As is an activity centre 'Beta Adventures' I highly recommend them also for jet skis and quad bikes. All in all a perfect stay in Croatia for all of us and we will definitely be returning.
