Ceci est une unitĂ© complĂštement privĂ©e. Belle maison individuelle Nouvelle-OrlĂ©ans, fusil de chasse avec de hauts plafonds, cƓur de planchers de pin, portes de cyprĂšs, de belles vieilles fenĂȘtres et des dĂ©tails architecturaux. Salon avec des meubles confortables, un canapĂ©, des chaises et tĂ©lĂ©vision. Dans la chambre Ă  coucher est un lit queen size et une armoire. La salle de bain est nouvelle avec douche. DĂ©tendez-vous sur le porche ou de marcher pour regarder les bandes Ă  quelques pĂątĂ©s de maisons. Bel appartement bien situé dans le Quartier Français dans un secteur tranquille et à environ 20 min. de marche des bistros et autres commerces Nous avons séjourne 6 jours et nous n'avons manqué de rien. J'y retournerais sans hésitation

Stayed at Rita's guest house for our first kid-free trip ever! It was the best launching pad for exploring the city and the best place to relax at the end of the day. The bed was so comfortable we just wanted to lay there and watch movies all day. The soace was very thoughtfully set up. It even had sunscreen and a first aid kit. Neighborhood was very quiet, so quiet that a chatty cat was my alarm clock one morning. Very cute. Would absolutely stay here again.

This home was perfect for my husband and I. We stayed 5 night's, the neighborhood was peaceful and quite. A short distance from anything that you would need. Well furnished, bed was comfortable, we loved the shower head and plenty of street lighting for coming home after dark. We had coffee every morning on the quaint front porch. A couple blocks away is the French Market, French Quaters and Bourbon St. Awesome and fast communication with Rita, but everything was perfect we only needed her once about the street parking. We have found a lovely place to stay for our next trip to New Orleans. Thank you again Rita, see you next time.

For anyone looking for a safe relaxing fun and convenient home to stay in, this is it. My host Rita is great if you need anything she is available. The welcome manual makes staying a breeze, all house info and neighborhood info you need to fully enjoy your stay.

Week in Bywater/Marigny

This stay was so fantastic, wonderful guide to the area from our host, responsive to questions, ease of location being close to so many artsy area attractions on top of the French Quarter. Highly recommend staying with Rita, sitting out front and sipping coffee in the mornings, and divine living arrangements.

Best time in the Bywater!

We stayed in Rita's place for 3 nights, and it was exceptional. The location was perfect; it was about a 10-15 minute walk from Frenchmen Street, about 25 to Bourbon Street, and beautiful neighborhoods in between. We sat on the front porch every morning with coffee, and it felt like we were at home and truly part of the neighborhood somehow. We chatted with her briefly a few times on her way in and she's lovely! What a magical place. We hope to come back next year! As a note, there is a train close by, but she does have a small noise machine in there which helped a lot. You might still want to bring earplugs, but we slept just fine, and the bed was super comfortable.

Our stay at the guest house was perfect! We were immediately charmed by the space’s design and decor. The bed was comfortable, the shower temperature and pressure was perfect after our long chilly adventures downtown. The location is a short distance walk to the main attractions, however the neighborhood itself has restaurants and shops to explore on your way to the French quarter & Frenchman st. We loved our stay, would absolutely book again!

Great little spot

We loved the apartment and the neighborhood, lots of nice thoughtful touches and amazing food and bars nearby. Nearby train goes by frequently, and loudly, including during the night, but the most comfortable mattress in the world makes up for it!

Did not disappoint.

Enjoyed our stay. Very convenient location if you are looking to explore New Orleans. Quick tip about the shower- Leave the shower head level and it will not drip when you turn the water off. We figured this out the last night.

I chose to live in this area because of the wonderful mix of neighbors and the closeness to the Quarter where I can walk to Mardi Gras or walk through the centuries old village on a quiet, misty morning. Many wonderful and talented artists, musicians, and other eclectic people live in the neighborhood making it an always inspirational place to visit or live.

There are many wonderful and relaxing ways to enjoy the guesthouse and yet be a quick walk to great bars and restaurants. During Mardi Gras, you can step out on the front porch to watch the pop up parades.
