Je vous vous invite à séjourner dans le magnifique village de PONTONE situé juste entre RAVELLO et AMALFI.

Appartement au centre du village à 25 min à pied, par les anciens escaliers, d'Amalfi et sa plage ou 15min en voiture.

Our stay at Lemon in the Air was great. Berengere was a very welcoming and helpful host - from the very tasty lemon sorbet and walking tour of Pontone on our arrival, to help and advice with the sometimes tricky Amalfi coast travel arrangements. The apartment was comfortable, modern and very well equipped. The very close and secure parking spot for our car was a welcome feature. We loved the quiet and relaxed atmosphere in Pontone, especially after the crowds and bustle of Amalfi, Ravello and Positano. It was a great base for hiking in mountains.

Number 1 place to stay near Amalfi. Convenient for all the Coast activities but nestled in the quiet Pontone Village. The 2b/2b apartment was completely modern with top shelf amenities and appliances. It was the PERFECT place for 2 couples to stay. The Host was extremely helpful in all matters and continued to provide a white-glove experience for our trip. We would not stay anywhere else.

Everything was set and ready for our arrival. BB was an amazing host giving us all the to do’s around the town and city. From giving us shuttle services with our delayed flight from Naples airport to providing different ways of transportation with bus schedules and routes. I loved the flat we stayed in and how cozy it was after a long day of walking. The only item I would note is not many buses drop off in Pontone or follow the bus schedule. We would be in Amalfi and the bus drivers would follow it maybe every other hour or two. Amalfi to Pontone is about a 30 minute walk on the stairs which was my personal favorite but it may not work for everyone.

Wonderful stay

This place was amazing. Bérengère was a great host. She helped us with booking a driver to and from Naples. She met us at the home for check in with lemon sorbetto and limoncello that she made. She gave us recommendations and even offered to make dinner reservations for us. She walked around the town with us to show us all around after check in. The place is exactly as described and it was perfect. It had everything we needed and was very comfortable. I would recommend this place to anyone and hope to come back again.

Incredible View - Super Helpful Host

Situated in a small village, about halfway up the cliffs above Amalfi, the view from the kitchen's balcony is fantastic. The property itself was clean and perfect for me and my wife along with our two daughters. I would highly recommend climbing the steps to the basilica and walking on to Ravello and down to Amalfi to catch the bus back. The views along this route are truly remarkable, and it's honestly what I had hoped Italy would look like. Our host was very friendly, greeted us with a delicious homemade Limoncello, and showed us where to find all the necessities in the small town square a few steps from the property.

This property was perfect for our 6 night stay on the Amalfi Coast. Clean, comfortable, and all the amenities listed were accurate. Beds were comfortable, the showers had great water pressure, and the kitchen was well stocked. Having a washing machine and line to dry clothes was very helpful. We loved the quieter neighborhood of Pontone and only had to descend/climb the stairs (for the physically fit) to get to the busier Amalfi. But the very BEST part of our stay was our hostess, Berengere. She graciously had the VRBO ready for us early to accomodate our arrival. She had delicious lemon sorbet and a lovely detox tea ready for us while she oriented us to our surroundings and supplied suggested activities. She walked us around the town of Pontone so we would know where to catch the bus, location of local restaurants, and the stairs to Amalfi. She even provided us with last minute bus tickets when the local shop had run out of them. She arranged, on our request, a private driver to pick us up from Naples to drive us to the VRBO. I've never had such personal service from a VRBO host. 10/10 recommend!

Amazing host and apartment

Our host went above and beyond organizing a private taxi, a last minute Pompeii tour and lunch. She was absolutely amazing. At the apartment she had everything for us from coffee, sugar, lemon water and fresh lemon sorbet. She obviously took everything into consideration when designing the apartment and loves what she does. The view is amazing. It is about a 30 min walk down about 1000 stairs to amalfi. We are still in pain but a few days of it and you should be used to it.

10 Days in Pontone

If you have mobility issues, then this is not the place for you, however if you want a small, quaint authentic Italian hamlet - look no further! We can not say enough nice things about our host, she is lovely, and her apartment is clean, the beds are comfortable, and she was incredibly helpful and quick to respond to any questions.The location is remote - there is no way to be in Pontone if you are not able to walk stairs, and manage hills! We easily climbed over 9000 stairs alone in our 10 days, and we used public transit often. (Download the Sita bus app - it’s hard to find bus tickets anywhere, and it will plan your route and allow you to buy tickets online).There is a store for groceries about 20 minutes away by foot - uphill back. It may sound as though I am complaining- we loved it! But I would be glad to have known these details beforehand just to ensure we were prepared.The two restaurants in town are very nice, with friendly family staff, and the Blue Bar is open daily where you can get a coffee, cocktails, snacks , and a limited amount of groceries.A wonderful memory for us of the Amalfi Coast

Loved Pontone and Lemon in the Air

Our recent stay at Lemon in the Air was nothing short of magical!!! Nestled in Pontone, the apartment offers views of the sparkling sea and Ravello. Lemon in the Air is a hidden gem. The apartment is well furnished accommodating up to four people easily. The pictures are exactly as shown!!! The place has everything you need. Our host, Berengere, was amazing. She was in constant contact and answered all questions quickly. Upon arrival, she greeted us with homemade gelato, sat down with us and provided information about the town and the bus system, and then walked us around the quaint town showing us the different routes to explore. Pontone is located above Amalfi and you can walk down the stairs (many) to reach the town. As others mentioned, I would miss the last bus up. You can reach many of the other Amalfi coast towns via bus from Pontone/Amalfi OR via Ferry from Amalfi. Lemon in the Air was a perfect home base to relax and allow us to explore. We would highly recommend this location for your stay in the Amalfi Coast. (Plus, the Blue Bar has great food and Luca & Pepe are wonderful),

Simply magnificent ❤️

Berengere was an outstanding host. Exceptional in every way. If you’re considering this property/host, you cannot go wrong. Everything about our trip to the Amalfi coast exceeded our expectations and it all started with Berengere and Lemon in the Air. Her place was perfect for 2 couples. 2 separate bedrooms and 2 separate bathrooms. This place was away from the crowds but still close to everything. We walked or took the bus almost everywhere. We only took the car out once to go to Pompeii. Our host arranged parking for us next to the apartment for a small fee. She was there to greet us and show us around- with fresh lemon sorbet and homemade limoncello:) We asked for dinner recommendations each night depending on where we were planning to be that day and she not only gave us excellent recommendations but she made the reservations for as well! Everything she suggested/all her tips…everything was perfect. I’ve traveled A LOT and had some great experiences with hosts but this was by far my best experience with any host. Thank you for everything, Berengere!

Accueil chaleureux, propriétaire disponible et très aidante: elle nous a fourni beaucoup d'informations utiles pour trouver ce qui était nécessaire à notre vie quotidienne et découvrir les plus beaux endroits et ressouces de l'environnement. Elle nous a, de plus, choyés de petites attentions comme une limonade maison, des bières, des biscottis, etc. L'appartement était confortable, joliment décoré et comportait un assortiment très complet d'ustensiles de cuisine nous permettant de faire à manger autant que nous le souhaitions. Nous recommandons hautement cet endroit.

L'appartement de Bérangère est très bien situé, dans un joli village, juste en face de Ravello. La vue est magnifique. L'appartement est très bien aménagé, neuf, avec tous les équipements nécessaires (et des jeux pour les enfants!!). On peut aller à pied à Ravello ou à Amalfi facilement. Il y a des jolis chemins de Pontone pour visiter les collines autour du village. Bérangère est très accueillante et disponible pour des conseils (restaurants ou balades à pied). C'est une très bonne adresse pour passer quelques temps sur la côte amalfitaine en toutes saisons. Expérience à renouveler Merci Bérangère

A real local feel

Our hostess was amazing. So welcoming for our arrival at 9pm into Pontone. She had so much information about the surrounding area and gave great detail around the transport options and available activities. The apt was also beautiful, everything was very high quality and recently renovated. The bed was my favorite. Super comfortable and I kept crawling back into bed during vacation and I am not really one to burn time off like that. The kitchen also had all of the amenities needed which made our mornings super convenient as we are not near the big cities. Would stay again and recommend it. This property is highly service focused. When we couldn't make our bus schedule to make it back to the airport she helped us find alternative solutions.

This was a great place with an incredible view. Berengere was very helpful and provided lots a things to do and how to navigate the buses. The stairs weren’t too bad going down. We never walked up (don’t miss that last bus lol) would definitely recommend!

Stay in Pontone!

An absolute dream VRBO experience from start to finish. Would full heartedly recommend to anyone who Was staying in the Amalfi coast but doesn’t want to be in the middle of the tourist action. The property is excellent and so is the host.

Lemon in the air is the best

The cutest little place in the mountains, our host made the stay all worth it and so amazing. Perfect if you’re looking to get away from the touristy area and okay walking or taking the bus places. Also best lemon cello!!

Pontone Italy fantastic stay at Lemon in the Air!!!!!

The Owner Berengere is very organized with where to eat,visit while in Amalfi Coast, Salerno and along with directing us to do some good hiking. Very open to finding whatever your need to enjoy your time in Pontone. A must stay truly a 5 out of 5.

Incredible property

If you are looking to stay on the Amalfi coast, you need to consider renting this property. The apartment has everything you need and is very quiet and comfortable. Pontone is very quaint and you have restaurants within a few steps of the front door. And Berenge, the property owner is awesome. She met us when we arrived and gave us a sample of lemonade and lemon sorbet from the trees her family harvests. She provided us with a variety of recommendations and was extremely responsive to our questions. This was truly a great experience!!

Ideale en rustige plek

Het appartement is een super fijne plek, weg van de drukte van de Amalfi kust en van alle gemakken voorzien. Het is schoon en ideaal voor 4 personen. De twee badkamers is echt een pré. Bérengère is echt een super host en erg vriendelijk en behulpzaam! Ze heeft ons erg goede tips gegeven over het openbaar vervoer, restaurants en wijnproeverijen! Onze auto stond voor 20 euro oer dag bij een privé parkeer terrein! Lopen vanaf Pantone naar het dorpje Amalfi doe je in 1.45 en is een prachtige wandeling. Ook kun je vanaf de basiliek van Pantone een wandeling maken naar het mooie dorp Raffello, ongeveer 30 minuten lopen! Het dorpje Pantone heeft een hele kleine minimarket ideaal voor brood in de ochtend en vlakbij een hele grote Spar. Ook een heel gezellig Italiaans restaurant met lekkere pizza's en pastas en prachtig uitzicht op de kust!

Up and away

This is a great unit thoroughly enjoyed it.Nestled up in the little village of Pantone it was fantastic . Several good restaurants in Pantone and a little shop to keep you in basic food . The unit is very clean and air conditioned ,no steps . The shuttle bus to Amalfi is a little bit unreliable . When we were there it was frequently full and we had to make other arrangements which meant walking down the road 15 minutes and catching another bus . I would not hesitate to recommend this villa .
