Family vacation getaway

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Our family came together in Gatlinburg for a short stay and had a great time at this beautiful cabin! The cabin had everything we needed, other than being short on toilet paper for 14 guests (after running out the first night we learned we needed to get our own). It was also close to many things like Food City (we made several trips), downtown Gatlinburg, Pigeon Forge and Dollywood! We had a great time and it was a beautiful place to meet up with family for a long weekend.

The house was very beautiful and clean. It was easy to access and host kept us up to speed on how to access the property and leave. Beautiful views and accessibility out on the porches. The only 2 concerns were that the house address was not correct on Google maps and outside trash cans were too small and could have been emptied a couple times during our week long stay since bears were a concern,

Nice but issues

Rating Details: The property manager was more than helpful. The vacation rental was somewhat dirty. I was more than happy with the location. I was satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Great location, it had a pretty nice view from the porch. The booking process was easy. The check in process was easy. The parking was not explained very well. It had a shared driveway with another cabin so we did not know where to park so we just parked on the side of the driveway which worked fine. The rooms were nice and spacious, but the cabin did not seem to be cleaned very well. I found a used fork in one of the bedrooms, a used bar of soap in the shower, and a wad of chewing gum on the baseboard in the theater room. The customer service responded immediately and offered to send somebody to clean. The upstairs shower started leaking water through the ceiling into the kitchen , customer service did not seem concerned about that. They blamed it on the shower curtain not being tucked into the shower fully. The game room upstairs was fun for the adults and kids. We had a great time! We would stay at elk springs again but maybe a different cabin next time.

From the booking process until the end of our stay, we were informed on what to expect, check in / out process and given area information which was extremely helpful. The cabin was in a great location and had plenty of space for our group. The Kitchen was well stocked with cookware and enough dishes making it easy to cook our meals. Kids loved the pool table and movie room. We would returned to this cabin in the future!

The 3 story cabin was spotless and kitchen was well equipped. Beds were comfortable! We stayed four nights and bears walked by on two occasions which was thrilling to see. Game room and theater were popular. We needed to buy an undedicated Roku remote to stream in movies. Jacuzzi was clean. Close to Gatlinburg on windy roads. Near the arts community. We hope to return and pick the same cabin! Thank you!

Overall great place to stay

Might consider updating some appliances and supplies like pots and pans and cleaning supplies (broom, etc.). The oven broke during our stay and we ended up not being able to use a lot of our groceries. Otherwise was a beautiful place.
