Ingenious use of space in super location. Google Maps can't direct you there. Navigate to library 1 block away. Beds comfy and i LOVED soft pillows, unique in Iceland. Everything we needed in kitchen. Shower very strange but workable once you figure it out.

If you’re coming to Akureyri, you might be whale watching. Very centrally located, literally by the town square and the main old town pedestrian area. Five mins walk from the town civic centre at the harbour, from where the whale watching trips depart. Flat has a double bed, a double sofa bed in the same bedroom and also one in the lounge. The lounge is cosy with a balcony and a nice view. All the kitchen facilities you might need. A shower bathroom (no bath) jwith washing machine. All the usual accoutrements one might need ie hair dryer, kettle, tv, etc. All in all a very clean and well kept flat in a very quiet spot, close to eateries and shops. Car hire, such as Europcar is a 10 min walk in a newer development. Flat is suitable for small family group

The apartment was absolutely gorgeous. The 2 of us staying there had plenty of room to stretch out. The bed was a fantastic feature. It was quite comfortable, but the blinds were the feature we were most grateful for. Being there in the summer meant the sun didn't set until after 10pm and was up before 4. Having some decent blinds to block out some of the light was really helpful to get a better nights sleep. The location of the apartment was right next to the town square, which meant we had so many choices of restaurants to pick from each day. The food in Akureyri was amazing, and the apartment is a short walk from an unbelievable botanic garden. The botanic gardens were free to public with a suggested donation, and it was absolutely the best botanic gardens I've been to in the world. You couldn't ask for a better location for an apartment.the apartment itself is absolutely gorgeous and has a well appointed kitchen. the washing machine was an unexpected bonus of our stay there!

We had a wonderful stay here. The apartment is located in the centre of town and was perfect for us. Very comfortable bed, including the two sofa beds. The washing machine was a very welcome addition and came on very useful. We appreciated that there were things like salt and pepper in the apartment. It was very clean and the host responded to my messages promptly. Perfect size for our family of four. The garden was lovely too and our children enjoyed playing in it. We will definitely stay here again.

A great place in the centre of town. Easy to find and check in. Communication with the host from time of booking and all the way through was faultless. As a family, we really enjoyed our stay here and it was plenty big enough for us. Will certainly come again.

Cutest Loft in Center of Town

We enjoyed the location most and walked to the movies, restaurants, bars and coffee shops. The thermostat was perfectly set for the cold weather. We received plenty of lines and towels.

We enjoyed our one night stay. The apartment was clean and well kept and looked as it was shown in the photos. It had a great location and we were able to walk all around town. The bedroom has two beds next to each other and a pull out sofa in the same room. There is another pull out sofa in the main living area. Our adult sons each slept on a separate pull out sofa but they both thought they were uncomfortable. Other than that, we really loved this place and would have enjoyed staying longer.

This stay exceeded our expectations! The pictures do not do the property justice. It is so nice and roomy. The mattress was also very comfortable and there was a pack and play for our baby which was so very nice. The apartment is just right on the edge of the town center yet it is quiet. The location couldn’t be better. We did not receive check in information before hand but the host quickly responded when we reached out to him. The WiFi router would not work for us. If you are staying from a differently country, bring outlet converters. There are no usb ports. These were all minor issues. We would 100% stay again!Thank you for sharing your property with us.

Little details not attended to

First of all there should have been some instructions regarding this sensitive nature of how the keys work as it was a struggle every time we we're trying to enter and lock up when leaving. There was no wifi information/password which was very disappointing. The garbage was still there in the kitchen and bathroom from the last user. The paper towel dispesnser had a use roll and there were no replacement to be found. Again little things but added up to a disappointing experience. The

I'm sorry to hear about the struggle with the key, we have not had troubles regarding that before, and also about the garbage still in the apartment, our janitor should have taken care of that. But there is no wifi in the apartment which should be clear from the registration on the Home Away page. Thank you for your comments we will surely fix this right away

Logement calme et lumineux au cœur d’Akureyri

Idéalement placé, somme toute spacieux ( nous étions 4 et non 6) avec produits de base (produits vaisselles, papier toilette, condiments….)Une place de stationnement réservée au logement très appréciable Très bien fourni en vaisselle même si une poêle et une casserole supplémentaires en petit format seraient bienvenues.Difficile d’obtenir l’obscurité dans la chambre et impossible dans le sejour
