Great apartment for a couple exploring the area around Nice.

A large, well laid out one bedroom apartment well situated in Beaulieu sur Mer, one of the most pleasant of the smaller towns of the Cote D’Azur. Well equipped and the parking is a big plus. Owners are a pleasure to deal with. All in all an excellent location for exploring all that the Nice area has to offer.

Beautiful unit and great Hosts!

I had an excellent stay at Shane's and Melanie's unit. They are a class act. I have stayed in many vrbo's in the area and this one is by far the best run. Totally renovated with high end finishes. Anna, the caretaker, is always available and very helpful. I see why this is a coveted rental and rarely available due to constant bookings. Also quiet and a nice clean building.

Enjoying the French Riviera

Property and owners Shane and Melanie were wonderful to work with. They saw to our every need and seemed really sincere to make our trip a great experience. Although we are not beach people. We enjoyed many jardins and musees. The area was very pretty and relaxing. Only thing I might add would be a map to Super U! Bill and Donna E. Amherst NY

Perfect in every way.

Everything true to photos and descriptions. We had an amazing time in this apartment. Have booked for next year already. Shane & Melanie certainly hit the nail on the head! Attention to detail is fantastic - great quality linens & towels, well equipped kitchen, even a cocktail shaker! Comfortable bed, great walk-in wardrobe, great underground car parking space available, which we used. Wonderful sized balconies, front & back of apartment, lovely & light & airy throughout... the positive list goes on & on. No negatives at all other than we had to leave & come home!! Thank you for a wonderful holiday. See you next year!

It means a lot to us getting such positive comments from people who know Beaulieu so well. Yes that car space is such a bonus! We would like to make a reservation for the pop up restaurant “Le Rambouillet” as your cooking sounds amazing! Really good to hear you went to some of the most special restaurants in the area too. Thank you also for leaving the apartment in an immaculate state and we are so looking forward to having you back next year. Melanie and Shane

A real gem!

This is a gorgeous apartment in an excellent location in Beaulieu-Sur-Mer. As we had not previously rented a one bedroom apartment we were a little apprehensive as to its size but we need not have worried. It was extremely spacious just as the photos illustrate and was bright and sunny with an excellent southerly aspect. It was in pristine condition with top quality linens, towels and delph provided. Everything was in working order . The owners, Shane and Melanie could not have been more helpful or friendly and provided immediate responses to any queries which made planning the holiday so easy. I could not recommend this property more highly and we have already booked to return next year. MMc

Wonderful holiday at Le Rambouillet

My husband and I staying at this wonderful flat for eight nights in August 2024. The flat is spacious, light, airy, and well-located--shopping, restaurants, public transportation, and the the beach are all a short walk away. We rented a car this year, but most places of interest are easily accessible by train or bus--a car is not really necessary. The apartment is well-appointed with the highest quality appliances, linens, etc. I especially enjoyed the kitchen, with an induction cooktop, wide assortment of pots, and pans, and Villeroy and Boch glasses and flatware. The owners provide thoughtful conveniences such as a wheeled cart for groceries. Shane, Melanie, and Anna couldn't have been more lovely and helpful, and we also enjoyed meeting George, Shane and Melanie's charming little West Highland Terrier. My husband and I plan to return next summer, which is probably the highest indicator of how much we enjoyed our stay.

Wonderful! And that's an understatement!

This was our second stay at Shane & Melanie's wonderful apartment. What more can we say - we are coming back again next year! Our review last year said it all and this stay was just as perfect. A few additions to the apartment now include beach chairs, beach mat and parasol, even jute shopping bags for our wine/cooking supplies. And we love to cook a lot! The kitchen is a cooks heaven - everything you could ever need and more for your holiday. The bed is super comfy with lovely fresh White Company bedding - the towels in the shower room and the beach towels, also from the White Company, so lovely and soft. The beautiful white (very brave- and still beautifully spotless) sofa in the lounge area, large enough for us both to laze on with a glass of bubbly, that's if we weren't on the balcony, either using the lovely teak chairs and table to eat at or lounging in the teak deck chairs soaking up the sun. Every aspect, from meeting the property manager, Virginie, at the beginning, to sadly leaving at the end of our stay was wonderful, as you might have guessed!! Thank you once again and see you next year! Samantha & Gary ( now back home in the cold & wet UK!)

There is really nothing to complain about :)

The three of us spent a week in this great apartment and really felt very comfortable there. Shane and Melanie are really very nice hosts who are very concerned about the well-being of their guests. The booking process was completely smooth and uncomplicated and all questions were answered very promptly. Even after the booking and just before and during the stay, Shane and Melanie always provided us with all important information and were available for all our questions (which were really answered very quickly). The communication was really first class. Check-in and check-out went accordingly well. We were thrilled with the welcome gift: a fresh, fragrant bouquet of flowers and cold drinks in the fridge. About the apartment itself we can only say: it is wonderful! The size, the cut, the equipment as well as the location were optimal for us three! There are several air conditioners, the kitchen is top equipped with enough dishes, pots, a coffee maker, a toaster, a large refrigerator, a microwave, a dishwasher and a washing machine. Also the garage space belonging to the apartment is ideal in this environment! The driveway is a bit narrow for larger vehicles but still doable. The location of the apartment was just as optimal: quietly located and yet close to the center. It is about 500m to the fine pebble beach "Plage des Fourmis", 500m to the train station (recommended for trips, for example to Monaco) and 500m to the supermarket "Super U" and the daily market on the market square. We really liked it there and we recommend this apartment in any case and without a doubt! Thank you so much for everything!

Absolutely Fabulous

This lovely apartment is spacious, light, airy and comfortable. It has everything required for a relaxing self-catering holiday. It is much nicer than it appears on the photos! Virginie, the property manager did the meeting and greeting and is a charming, friendly and helpful person. The balconies are a great bonus and the one overlooking the garden is roomy with a nice view and catches the sun through most of the day. The bed is comfortable and the bedding, towels etc provided are of a very good quality; a real home from home. The lounge and dinning area are also comfortable; unusually, we had two days of rain and spent most of the time reading and listening to music in this pleasant environment. The bluetooth speaker was an added bonus as we could use Deezer for our music (via my mobile phone). The kitchen is well equipped with good quality equipment, cutlery, glasses etc. It also has sharp knives! We both love cooking and when we travel we always take our own knives as they are normally blunt in self-catering apartments; but not here; It makes cooking so much easier and so much more pleasant. Thank you Shane and Melanie for sharing you apartment with us; we had an absolutely fabulous time! Highly recommended!

Schöne helle und sonnige Wohnung!

Sehr saubere, große und gut ausgestattete Wohnung. Der Vermieter kümmert sich rührend. Alles perfekt.
